Just came across this video, thanks for the info! I was trying to find a backless booster with latch connection and this seat looks like it fits the bill perfectly since the biggest annoyance with latch is when removing the seat.
I Just bought this seat for my 10yo because she’s struggling with that knees bent at the end of the bench and has started getting out of proper seated position on our drives. I could not figure out how to get it OUT of the car!! I was way overthinking it 😅 Thank you so much for this video! I’m glad we lucked into an easy release system. She had a diono booster but we’ve lost the base to the back and she’s soooo close to that 5 step trophy lol
Lol me too…I though it was pronounce just like that CHICCO, which is a Spanish word but with one “C” CHICO only, which refer to a male person….and CHICA is for female person 😅we are always learning in life 😎
I watched the video to see how to use the seatbelt adjuster tensioner, I'm not even sure what it's called. The part that holds the seatbelt down at around shoulder level and It looks like you've removed that part in this video.
The latch is not providing any safety function, it is only there to keep the seat from moving. The seat belt is the safety function. Latch in this case would not have to meet the 1inch movement test.
@@lmbk88 While what you’re saying is true I prefer if it is snug and this gives me peace of mind, why not anyway. In case your Are wondering, it is a little loose and not how I wish it’d be as I just finished installing.
Just bought and know the orange clip is going to be a bit of a pain to be adjusting all the time child sits in the seat. Something child didn’t use to do with regular car seat. In fact child used to buckle self up all the time. I would just double check everything was proper after child would snap everything on.
that bottle holder might affect other car seat especially if I want to fit 3 car seats at the back. it looks better if it only have 1 bottle holder on the right then leave alone the left side for better spacing..
As a woman she failed to show clearly about front orange color front release button (that you have to slightly push in to release the latch connectors to extend out the two back straps to the anchors to snap them in.

I have go fit and the latches are not staying latched ! as soon as the seat moved the clips activate the quick release . Please help me!!!

Pro/ con in terms of safety for latches? I prefer none, but that’s because it’s easier to move between cars.
Anything I should know?
Latch keeps the seat in place when unoccupied, and also makes sure it won't slide even when the child is sitting on it.
i just bought one from target and it didnt come with those connectors only a fabric strap with a plastic orange clip. anyone else?

They can fold in when not needed, they're rubber. Chicco calls them CupFolders
