I had to watch Diono's (the brand I chose), Graco and a few other "official" install videos before I finally found your that explained the belt guide thing clearly and concisely. Well done, you've created a much better video than the actual companies combined! 👍🏽
This is a great tutorial….. The red buckle with strap is used to make adjustment to the shoulder strap of the seatbelt to keep it away from the child’s neck ….. there are some videos available showing it attached with child in the seat……
I always wondered and never understood where and how to attach that belt (got used no manual) and the videos I found only explained with child already in it. So, this is helpful. Thank you!

This is the one that the boy I take care of has. Thanks for showing this for when I move him back over to it- was wanting them to get a bit bigger and be able to better sit upright with the booster before using a low back
Thanks 4 posting , I didn't understand how come the seat doesn't attach with a seatbelt hooked into the actual booster ?.... it just sits there/free standing and then U strap your little one in/over the seat..... OK
I agree, since the seat pops up when my child hops out of the booster chair. So, I cut the clips with strap from the harness seat, threaded it through the booster chair bars, and then clipped the booster into my car this way. It all worked out for my peace of mind. No pop up's or sliding. I'm getting a Comfigo when my other child is ready for a booster chair. Can't be bothered to get a PhD in child seats.
Only 2 things that need mentioning: 1. Need the screws in the armrests so they don't come off in an accident 2. Instructions say to have the loose end of the strap to the front. Has to do with the ability to apply tension in case of an accident.

Complete Garbage indeed! They talk only about how to put side handles and then all legal disclaimers. They don’t tell you in simple words how to install the car seat.
So is that black strap supposed to go in between the legs of the kid or does it go on the back of the car seat just for attention and does not go in between the children’s legs at all? That’s where I’m confused
***PLEASE READ*** I appreciate the video but, the seat belt strap info is INCORRECT. The Graco manual says the loose end that is pulled to tighten needs to face forward. It won't let me add a pic but that is probably an important step.
To keep the shoulder belt at the correct position when using a backless booster. The fabric loop attaches to the bottom of the booster and the red clip attaches to the shoulder belt above the shoulder. Thanks for watching!

What’s the purpose of the red clip?
To keep the shoulder belt at the correct position when using a backless booster. The fabric loop attaches to the bottom of the booster and the red clip attaches to the shoulder belt above the shoulder. Thanks for watching!

I would say 4-10 years old. They have to weigh 40 pounds or more to use it!
When I was 17 in my stepmom’s car I rode in a booster seat because there was no other seat accessible except for the booster seat 😂

There’s no way that buckle is meant to just sit loose behind the child like that
it's on the seatbelt to pull the seat belt away from the kid's neck, tighten it and it will pull the seat belt that goes across the body ,down
Grandparents have to pick up Grand child from school🥰❤️, it's a shame 2 parents "must" work nowadays..Thank you for the video..
