If they do it like archeage which clearly they are running caravans have so many routes and number of group sizes. Provides so many forms of organic pvp. Also running them in small numbers and having a clean run was awesome, and rewarding. It’s not just a guild thing. It just works out I’ve played it in archeage and Chris is just using an updated system that I wish a lot of other games tried.
point is Steven(director of AoC)are huge fan of L2 and Archeage thats the point you will see alot of mehanics/system from those game and i like it alot this caravans!Pvp looks amazing for an alpha! So i think in 2026 this game will be ready and finished full!
@@Vujkan Alpha 2 will continue until launch and Beta 1 & 2 will run in parallel, I can see Beta 1 & 2 taking a couple of months combined because they will be feature complete, Alpha 2 will be adding and testing a lot of features up to the point of launch. I doubt it will be out by 2026, but we’ll see.
ofc it looks good. Games gonna be a pretty solid 7-8/10 experience on release from the systems and stuff I've seen over the years. I think it'll be a solid mmo that'll have its own type of "thing" on the market.
Yea. Basically it looks like a game designed for players that want that old school MMO feel. Sadly, most MMO players now a days want more of a solo game with mmo aspects. I dont see this really being a big game, but might have a niche following.
@@TheNichq Lots of people including myself want more group stuff. One of the biggest bdo complaints is the lack of group content. I don't know if it works in bdo so much just because outside of year 1 its been mostly a solo game but most mmo's focus on group content.
The thing youve got wrong js that these caravans aren't moving player tax. They are moving the players actual goods. So you went to gather all those materials and now you have to get then to another node to sell for a better price or to get to your crafters. I agree if caravans were about moving someone else's stuff like in BDO then guilds grouping up would be bad for the content. Since the caravans dont add resources they just add a new way to take resources from others, it should be good for the pvp scene
Prediction; system is going to be amazing until there is 'one top guild' and you either pay a literal tribute too play the game normally or you get all your resources taken off you 24/7 if you interact with the system. Great system in theory, horrid when you play with real people.
these systems are nice but they wont survive the metagaming. its cool tho, clearly the game is giving guild and community based content so thats cool. its a no from me because of the antiquated combat but i cant wait to see clips of this game in 2054. my grandchildren and i are gonna love watching them
Systems like this NEVER work out the way the devs want. I just see this caravan being a freaking mess. Something that maybe the top guilds will do, and literally everyone else will just ignore because its a waste of time. Most MMO players play solo now a days. Basing an MMO on guilds now is a death sentence.
Losing stuff in pvp will NEVER be fun imo. I think they arent understanding the mmo community of 2024. The systems here seem great for like 2004. Players now a days do not want to waste time in MMO, let alone lose their shit because someone ganked them.
I completely disagree. I've played a few mmorpgs and Albion felt the best as far as pvp goes. Albion is full loot pvp system where you lose everything you have on or in your inventory upon death. It leant weight to the combat and made people think about actions and fight like he'll to live. Albion also has a higher pvp retention than practically any mmorpg. But I understand why people might not like it.
It's been getting better. We'll see where it goes. Honestly I like the direction it's going over many combat directions taken by games like BDO but that's just my preference. We'll see where it goes leading up to and during alpha 2.
I disagree, if you hate tab targeting, the I am sure that you won't like this combat, sure, but it's not trying to go the New World route. For a tab target combat system, it looks really good. I prefer tab target personally, so I like it a lot.
So basically caravans are just a guild vs guild thing, because theirs zero chance your doing any of this solo. Kinda lame. Personally, I just want a bank thats accessible from anywhere. Different banks having my shit in different cities simply sucks. It adds zero to the game imo.
I find it to drawn out , he needs to stop talking about ever one , who's working in the game ...& just go over bases of the game & not detail ever dame thingThe problem was it was one sided
lol. from complete failure to looking good. You are a very thoughtful supplier of opinions. You state "facts" liberally, but actually do zero research. You could do better.

The betas are supposed to be very short in duration so I think you might be overestimating on that point.
@@Ghettofinger they already said beta will be short, and this is not early access bro,its alpha test probably between 6-12 month max!

this Caravan Stuff will be a Cluster Truck!
Just remember AI, animations, fidelity has not been addresses. They are still working on systems, not visuals.

Ya there is a huge difference. Actually having farmed materials and life skills being always worth doing adds so much more depth.
Combat effects still looking better than Guild Wars 2 KEKW
It's all fun and games until Cho Nation shows up and says. "My Caravan".
coming out with part 2?
damn the video cuts right at the end :(
nice thank

absolutely wrong. good thing is that you dont have to play it
Have you heard of Eve Online?

ashes of creation has been in development almost as long as star citizen on god
That's factually untrue, they started development around 2017 and they had like 20 employees or less back then, it takes time.
look like a mobile game
Lol, what mobile games are you playing? Because I want to find these visual masterpieces.
