Hi Litsa! Very very cute memory game pattern!!! Great minds think alike, lol because I found a free pattern memory game with colored shapes with a pouch that holds the squares. There are patterns for crochet buttons. Maybe Mom turtle would be better with eyes. Such a cute pattern! See you later❤😊

I would put eyes on Mommy's face, and the thought crossed my mind to either crochet (mandal-style?) or embroider a patter of some sort on her shell. TFS! 😊

Hi Litsa, such a cute pattern and I love the changes you made to suit you better! I have seen that making its rounds in the past and I have always loved it! I feel like the momma would look great with some eyes 👀 but I don't know if I would put a mouth or not. However, it is super cute without it as well. Wonderful job 👏🏻

Great project, love it. I, myself, would put eyes on mama to make her look more finished and so that she can see all her babies make it back into her tummy and be safe. 😊😊.

Turtle looks wonderful. There are so many options to make for memory games. I have added a couple of 'spot the differences' to my memory game.

I love theturtle memory game and have it on my to do list in the very near future for the grand baby x Thank you for the tips and showing how to turn it into a nearly no sew pattern :) i haven't come across the milk and cookies game and will have to look that up :) i think mumma needs some eyes and may be a smile :) even felt glued on with some good fabric glue :)
with the button I may go
1 crochet button,
2 small pieces of velcro sewn on,
3 crocheted chains or thin satin ribbon attached that can be tied in a little bow

I think it would depend on the age of the child the turtles are for. If I was making them for a baby I I don't think I would add eyes, but for older children yes.

I like you would have Def crocheted it together like you did, i despise sewing. I think if you're concerned about the button, you could sew a Lil square of velcro, the other thing I've seen people do is just a ribbon tie closure. I don't think she needs eyes, she'll match her babies better and it leaves that antiqueish feel that i think is really nostalgic.
