Im 12 years old yup, he was abt to lose the back, and counter steered, then he nearly lost the back the other way, and counter steered again. This lost him abt 0.05 second
But Senna's Pole time was at the old Imola Layout which is much faster (since Tamburello was a flat out corner and not a chicane). Goes to show how much technology has leapt in 12 years time.

These tracks flowed so well, nowadays the new tracks have so many slow-ass 'tilke' style corners that ruin the track. Silverstone redesign ruined the fast flow it it (the section right after the new start-finish), the last Belgian superslow chicane, the new Monza super slow first chicane, the last Spain super slow chicane. They just don't flow as well anymore. Not to mention all the new tracks with megaslow sections, weird-ass unnatural-feeling apexes and ridiculous first corners.

Silverstone produced the best dry and non safety car enhanced race of last year, the entire race there were cars battling, that first section is half the reason for that. Imola is fantastic but you need some slow corners and winding complexes to produce good racing. (I know Silverstone 2019 had a safety car but it didn't impact the race like in Brazil).
