I would love for you to do a run down video of what we can do to best prepare for the changes along with what can be expected...I know some YTers have done videos, but your explanations seem to stick/make more sense...just a thought/request. 😊
For those of us that don't have mule characters, wouldn't it be better to craft lighter weapons with legendary effects and store them for later scrapping after the new season starts? I was thinking about crafting a bunch of combat knives or assaultron blades? I'm curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks for the video and take care.
If you already have the modules, that's a good idea. If you have scrip to burn but no room to store it, I'd save the scrip for the legendary vendor sale 2 days after the update.
Aliens also do cryo damage during the Invasion. I had just one cryo resist piece on my berserker character and it made a big difference, surprisingly. Not that I'd go for that specifically, just something i noticed.
Same idea here Wiggle. I've also been looking for weapons with two great stars in vendors. Yesterday I found a troubleshooters 50c25 handmade and a quad something 25 fixer, both for a few thousand caps. Will be able to apply learned effects to those later.
the problem is if your really after the box mod for let's say 50 critical-the chances of you getting that mod when you scrap the weapon is very low.I'm guessing You'll need to scrap a tone of weapons with the 50 critical just to learn that mod.
yes I have alt with Weightless BOS set, and he turns in visible, Funny thing is weightless is on the armor BUT you have to have a Gun out for it to trigger.

MEDICS is going to be Big in new Season as well, it can take the place of Friendly fire now, You dont need the Firendly fire perk card, just DIRECT FIRE on another teammate or Cow or etc your escorting etc and it heals them, (But it does not work with explosive Spash damage, Exposive works for damaging enemy but nto for the heals, has to be Direct fire) ... Damage while Aiming might also be pretty big since the NEW V63 Laser Carbine is not really a VATS weapon its a Aim and shoot ... POISON RESIST I think will be big to have a set of it, I am betting that New Snake Raid boss will Poison ... LAST ROUND only works for things like Crossbow, Cannons, Blunderbuss, Dragons etc (NOW I do have a Bloody Dragon, Exploding (20% Damage or only 3% if they put this with Shotguns, then lasts rounds 25% to deal 100% Extra damage, might be viable, cant remember its 3rd star, but I know it would One shot a lv.100 supermutant. ... Here is Idea, Make a Lv20 Excavator set, add calibraded Shocks for +200 lbs carry weight, Give him +2 Int per pieces for +10 total int to help level, and for Defence Make it Overeaters+Sentinels (He can tank, he can carry and he can level and it would take them to level 50 No Propblem), then you can ame them sets for what ever load out they choose.
Dude, you've got the patience of a saint. You took that mass amount of disappointing rolls like a champ. Hopefully you at least are able to learn thise few desirable second and third star effects. When I get home I'm going to do my rolls. This got me sweating a bit, but the effects are worth it! Another great video!
Do you know if the SPECIAL mods when learned will be learned for both armor and weapons or will they be separate? Like if I learn Strength from a weapon, will I be able to craft the mod for armor as well?
For something to apply to both weapons and armor, it has to be the same star. SPECIALs are 2nd star on armor and 3rd star on weapons, so they will different mods.
Only if you already have the modules. Converting scrip to modules would cost 200 scrip per 3 star weapon and 150 for 3 star armor. Secret service would cost 50 scrip but doesn't guarantee a 3 star. The best option for scrip would be to save it until the purveyor sale on Sept 5th.
Do you think Bethesda played w the odds of the good rolls You bet they did ! Good luck rolling gamers... we're gonna need it 😮 Sept. 3. The odds will get even tougher.... If you go back 5 years, getting a decent roll was easy..... now it's ridiculous ! You should've stayed longer with weapons & armor .... at least 10 rolls each. ( not changing every 2 ) Hey.... It's a lottery/luck with Bethesda controlling the odds 😉 There are only a handful of good effects. ( Dats the fact jack )
I’ve been burning though my script and modules I don’t know fully know the odds for the mods or plans will be but I’m doubting 10+ overeaters 1 stars will be enough 😅 I had about 87 modules and that was be best I could of gotten
Leaning a plan for a legendary effect seems to be at 1% per scrap per star... so you get 1% on the first 1% on the second and 1% on the third star if you're scrapping 3 star stuff... Getting box mods was a bit higher...but I don't know exactly ehat it was... I think like 4 or 5% but I'm not sure

Gauss pistols and secret service armor pieces are best for this, yes

I found an instigating explosive 25 radium rifle and explosive 25 railway rifle!

Half way through I would’ve changed servers…and I don’t even believe that makes a difference lol
