When I play low D and high D they both sound the same. I see that the fingering is the same but I can't make the high D sound different than the low D. Is it because of the flute or is it because of the tightness of the lips? Because I bought a cheap flute to practice with since I am just starting to see if I would like it. I played a brass instrument before so I am using my experience but it might be totally different with the tightness and looseness of the lips.

If you do not care original key ,you can use F key dizi flute to play any song(if the song note scale not exceed dizi flute notes scale).If you hope to play with back track music of original music, you need use other specific key dizi flute (It will easier to play and more suitalbe to play)
