@dana sh no worries i know, i've read the novel, the CQL did such a great job despite the censorship though. Important thing is they didnt change the plot of the book 🌸 and yeah they reunited after a while at the end~

@@MARTINEZJOHNPAULD noooo, the ending wasn't tragic nor did they separate. The ending was an open ending, means they met again and that's where it ended so you can just imagine yourself on what they did after that. You should read the novel bcs it's different from the live action adaptation

And if you noticed, in his eyes there was like a reflection of someone standing wearing white robe, and it was confirmed that it was actually lan wangji. And there's a censorship, china is very strict about homosexual relationships which means they have no choice but to change some of the scenes and make their relationship as "brothers/best friends" They cannot have romantic scenes or whatsoever or else they'll get in trouble
