How to EDIT VOCALS in FL Studio - for Beginners/Noobs

- In this video I’m going to walk you through how to do some basic editing on vocals in FL studio.
I’ll show you how to trim, slice, fade, edit in edison, and automate volume inside the program so that you can get your vocals ready for mixing.

Bro ur a goat . U really inspired me to record using FL . I don’t know anyone who records on FL . U make it look easy . Ive been producing on FL for a min now just never knew recording on here was possible .

I been using audacity for years I mean over 10 years I’m trying to transition to fl. It’s hard when you’ve become adept at using a program and know how to do a lot with it but I know fl will do me better

@@billnacky5059 lemme tell you I been using fl for the past 2 weeks and I’ve learned so much enough where I’m almost done with my first song I edited on it with. I basically did all my recording and comping on audacity then transferred the stems to fl and started really cleaning it up and layering effects and it sounds soooo much better
I've been using fl since I was 15 years old. I'm 27 now and fl studio can do ANYTHING you can imagine. Audacity is obsolete. Fl studio has audacity built in as Edison and SO MUCHH MOREEEEE
Dive into fl studio and you will never he disappointed. Literally anything you can imagine can be done on this DAW
@@senseiii3986 oh I have been loving it, I still use audacity for initial recordings and for a very and I mean very light clean up but everything else is done in fl studios until I hit my finished product
Great video. Can you give pre &boost examples of how each effects work? It would extend the video to the 10 min mark too so that you can monetize your videos for mid rolls.

Tip: For autotune, add your vocals to newtone, centre (center for americans) on full, adjust variation and trans. then you got autotune

Which version of fl studio do you use. Do you pay for it monthly or did you buy one of the bundles?
I used the producer version for a long time.
last year I upgraded to the All Plugins edition when they were running a promo.
bro i have a doubt......in fl studio for me when i drag a sample and then i want it to minimize.....minimize means fromleft or right hold and drag into middle so we can trim...but for me when i hold and drag the whole sample is changing....by changing its tempo time.....i dont know why....can u helpp me..??
At the top of the playlist window on the left side, you should see two options - one that says 2-cross with a circle next to it, and one that says stretch with a circle next to it.
Make sure that stretch is unchecked. Then you should be able to move the edges without the sample stretching.

facts mine too
Make sure the stretch audio when resizing option is turned off.
It's at the top of the playlist window, under the audio clips focus.
I think the shortcut to turn it off and on is SHIFT + M
