the wooden crossbow should be similar rated to the slingshot. Its right click hold ablilty has infinite piercing. Its very good for leveling ranged and also not bad for the hive mother boss.
I would say B and C tier ratings are similar. There's an argument that the slingshot should be B tier but personally I disagree. I'd never use the slingshot for anything other than skill training. The wooden bow is awesome though. especially for a newbie item.
I found a legitimate use of the bubble gun when fighting the sunken sea blue boss slime. I couldn't with a scepter, but could with the bubble gun! In a hard mode world

ya after 1.0 they made the slippery effect better so bubble gun has become more useful.
Slingshot shoukd be B tier its a versatile and cheap weapon
it is a solid weapon.
