I installed the homebrew channel successfully, but that's not what I see when I reboot the wii. I just have the regular wii menu with the homebrew channel being one of the selections. Now I'm just trying to install the gecko os in my homebrew channel
Juan Barcenas are you connected to your wifi? That's the only other time I seen that. Also I modded 6 Wiis for free there a few months back and I made a updated video series and posted a link to all my files. The newer videos are a better overall mod and its works really well. All the people who have them love them. th-cam.com/play/PLyi2EHoCR7FsDcYHx7JheDKk-AvkxbBwy.html
telvon hale Generally, if I get any errors that are SD card related, I back up the contents to PC, reformat the SD correctly, then restore the files, making sure that I disconnect my reader via the "safely remove hardware icon". These things can be temperamental.
telvon hale how did you fix it? Just follow my Master Wii mod videos and download the files in the description in order to get WiiFlow. th-cam.com/play/PLyi2EHoCR7FsDcYHx7JheDKk-AvkxbBwy.html
i forgot who but someone in the coments told me to enter a code inside of the notepad of the file and it worked (Thank you for replying fast even tho the video is old your a big help
Asian Trash Can yes at the very start of this video in the top right is a suggested video playlist. This will take you to my videos in which I show you how to install everything. In those videos there is a description to download all my files. I've made it easy for everyone! I have series of videos for the Wii and the WiiU. Just look at my playlists.
Hi ATC, I am not sure. Perhaps Google or Gbatemp will have the answer. Last time I looked into modding the console it was only possible using the vWii of the Wii U.
grace persac you can use a USB however I find it's not the fastest or the best solution for emulating games. I don't recommend it, but you can if that's all you have. If you notice your games lagging or shuddering it's most likely the USB.
@Jesus Galvan, follow these updated videos. I have my entire build documented. th-cam.com/play/PLyi2EHoCR7FsDcYHx7JheDKk-AvkxbBwy.html When downloading my SD card build from my Dropbox use a downloader program. Its about 21GB compressed.
+Jesus Galvan I store all my settings, cover art and ROMS for NES, SNES, GB, Etc all on the SD. This way your library is complete and all you have to do then is to places the ROMS for you Wii and GameCube on your external HD. By storing all your settings and your retro ROMS on the SD, which is permanently mounted, it's less chances you system files or retro library getting corrupt. If your HD gets corrupt you only have to readd your ROMS for you Wii and GameCube, no biggie. Which means at the end of the day you don't have to rebuild your entire system. How many times has my cat jumped up on the desk and knock my HD over and corrupted it....too many.
I made a updated video series and posted a link to all my files. The newer videos are a better overall mod and its works really well. All the people who have them love them. Just follow the videos step by step and you will have a great modded Wii that will play all the NES, SNES, GB, GBS, GBC, MAME, Sega Genesis etc. th-cam.com/play/PLyi2EHoCR7FsDcYHx7JheDKk-AvkxbBwy.html

If you followed all the Wii videos in the series up to this point then it should work. Just try restarting your Wii.
