Piece of advice, If you place a hold on new releases at the library make sure you order one at a time because they might come in all at once. Yup happened to me!😂
Oh man! That hasn’t happened to me at the library but happens to me on Libby ALL THE TIME! Thankfully I can pass and have it delivered later but it does feel overwhelming still when it happens!

Also, I thrift a lot of books (no buying ban for me) from the library used bookstore. I have plans for future thrift shopping in the near future to other thrift stores, but not yet.

Yeahh, I know what you mean about being more interested in the side characters. I read Siege & Storm (Shadow & Bone Book 2) and I loved Nikolai & the other side characters more than the main 😅
