You guys are a real treat for mankind. I love everything you do. Stay true to your authentic selves. Don’t let something as ultimately irrelevant as fame and fortune corrupt you. Because the way you are right now is worth more than all the money in the world.
I'm madly in love with these two. We play nearly all the same repertoire. It is such a special to perform quatre mains and two piano with a sibling. In my youth I performed a great deal with my sisters. Love performing the Poulenc Double Piano concerto and mostly French 4 hand works. But seriously the Jussen brothers are my favorite piano duo team. Exquisite style and interpretation. Hard to choose which one to propose marriage to LOL. Seriously this Gentleman prefers Blondes. They are simply adorable, charming and their playing is exquisite.
Just love you both. You are such good fun, and so entertaining. And I love the closeness of you two, it really is so heartwarming. We are so fortunate that you both speak English so well. I consider you the greatest duo Pianists of all time. Best wishes from Australia.
How wonderful to see these completely charming, loving, and talented brothers who are also artists of the first class! Just see how they play their thoughts off of one another, and how one in heart and soul they are. It must be the most wonderful thing in the world to live in the same house with them, to feel their warmth and charm and their joy of living. Once Arthur was asked the question: How does it feel to be playing with a brother? He answered: (In Dutch) "it's really more like having a best friend." That just bowls me over - as does their brilliant playing. Keep playing for us, Lucas and Arthur, in spite of Covid 19! We NEED you.
eccellent pianoplayers, sweet brothers, very handsome models, even very famous stayed very normal without scandels or bad reviews, from my town born(Maastricht) speak many languages and 4 local dialects, keep it up guys stay like u are and healthy as always, your the best
The Jussen brothers are stunning physically and musically. If they wanted to to play six mains , my dream is to be squeezed between these two. I love playing all the same works they play too. Poulenc Double Piano Concerto, and all the quartre mains works of Debussy, Ravel, Faure, Poulenc and Milhaud.
What a life they must live! They should have their own show, a reality tv format where we follow their daily lives and concerts. English or German is fine. Their personalities would totally support this!
I agreed with most of your answers and I loved Arthur's response on home cooking - YES! 100% true - amazingly mature responses for ones so young - especially the cooking part - I learned that at a much later age.
This was fun to watch! First time I've heard them speak English. They sound like native English-speakers. No accent. Maybe the way they both pronounce "cook," but I had to play the video twice to catch that. There was a point around 4:00 where neither of them could think of the English word for something. Of course, that happens to everyone, but apparently they knew the Dutch word. I wasn't surprised that they agreed on most of the choices, nor surprised that Lucas chose dancing and Arthur chose singing. I think most people would choose to be deaf rather than blind, but not if music is your life. I'd be interested to hear them talk about learning to play a piece and how they decide who plays which part. Bedankt voor de video!
Amazing to experience the great chemistry between these two brothers, after such a long time -private and business wise- together on the road. It explains their success as great pianist, being great personalities both. (NB: the setting is nice , and I’m curious if they bought/selected the art painting in the back? Knowing that they both love art, I wouldn’t be surprised it belongs to their collection?!)
What's great is that they can introduce younger generations to the classics. That's a win! I wouldn't place them on a pedestal, though. Let's see what they do with their careers. Art is long, life is short. ;)
Awwww. To paraphrase Dr. Edward O. Wilson, Darwin's dice have rolled well (EXTREMELY well) for the Jussen brothers. Everything that they post is treasurable - together OR individually. Stay well & safe, gentlemen - and take good care!
You have to be specific about question number 2. Bach only got completely blind by the very end of his life, Beethoven had to suffer through decades of declining hearing until he lost it more or less completely about 4 years before he died. So I take going blind from cataract at old age. ;
WHICH PIECE (BACH?) is playing in the background!! I can't recognize it -- the Jussen's playing this? ..FB tagged me one of your "top fans"...when will you come to Calif to play ...so I can hear you live and MEET YOU ..or you gonna make me fly to Europe. Really??? How can you be so gifted and uber charming and adorable .. Much love from a silly violin player -- and a lifelong "wannabe" pianist -- oivey !!
It is the third movement of the C major double keyboard concerto by J.S. Bach, BWV 1061. The brothers do have a recording of that piece, but I don't know if it is their recording or some other that plays in this video.
What the hell! How can they be adorable, sexy, incredible pianists, and have a cute accent?? @god, that's not fair!
They do have it all!!
If it ain't Dutch it ain't much ;).
@@tyronevanbrunswijck4046 HAHAHA that's cute :)
Update: saw them live for the first time this year; they got it all
They are utterly charming.
Also talented n beautiful, perfection!
It's so great to see them just casually chatting with each other like this.

So talentef and so cute !!!
My brother is 11 months older then me but we feel twins. I see that you are twins too, what a great feeling!

Their timing in answering the dilemma question is synchronous !
Meravigliosi questi due fratelli...ma quanto hanno studiato e avranno fatto sacrifici per essere cosi bravi! Li seguo sempre

Great video. I love your last answer which was „better together” . That’s the clue.
What a great interview! Clever approach - and these two are so good together - AND they ARE cute!
It is fun to hear them talk.

qué mala onda!!
No te precisan. Su calidad humana y artística los colocó ya en el pedestal.
They are so cute together and talented.
Haha so much fun

Primeiro um, depois o outro! Depois daremos a opinião!!!!
뭐지 이 잘생김은 ㅎㅎ 영화에나 나올법한 비현실적인 아티스트 형제 ㅎㅎ
Take me now.
Not the Arthur Jensen I was looking for.
How can two human beings be so perfect? I would give my right ball for a night with the Jussens.
Already gave the left on a previous occasion?
You are truly sick. Just disappear already.
Vulgar

"Blind like Bach"? Bach wasn't blind. He lived to be 65 and was only blind in the last few months of his life, due to a botched cataract surgery.
two sexy pianists. I'm Italian, come to Italy, I hosted you: P
You both are hot looking dudes !

Are your parents bi-lingul? Is your father or mother American? You both speak English very well...e
Their parents speak Dutch and Frisian. And so do they. English, German and French we learn in school.
