'FYI, the core IS edible, when I say inedible, it means I wouldn’t serve it to guests. I have never been served a pineapple with the core and enjoyed it. So I don't recommend keeping it. But you do you, okay? LOVE YOU ALL! 😘
Bravo! A simple classic. Cuts through all the 'crap' and gets to the heart of the matter. Liked your modest explanation and your sense of humour and the fast forward sequences too, . Thats what film and video does best: collapses time!
Pineapple juice and Tito's is my summer drink. Never did it with a hollowed out pineapple, but have certainly done a boozy watermelon. Thanks for watching CJ!
Thank you for the video! The most useful part for me was the beginning and telling if it was ripe. Helped out perfectly! What about using the core in cooking, what do you guys think about that? (Just curious.)
Stephen, another fantastic and educational presentation my friend. I am watching closely your filming and editing techniques! Congratulations on 500 subscribers. [Phil]
Not yet my friend. I will be doing what I do here in the Middle East for a minute. I will head home around August-ish if nothing changes here on the ground. Hopefully you will hit 1000 or more before I get back.
Not anymore, I am a retired Airborne Infantry Army Ranger. I am a Govt. Contractor now. I work over here keeping people safe. I retired in 2008 from the Army (23 years).
Pineapple my favorite fruit! The core is edible but most people don't want to deal with it. I really like the photography sequence at the end. You could even use those as thumbnails, they look really crisp.
Thanks man! By inedible, I mean, I wouldn’t serve it to guests. And yea, I play with the idea but I feel like faves work better on TH-cam. That’s something I can’t quite can a hang of yet!
Wow, what a large cutting board! Where does one even find such a large cutting board? That large size must have been really convenient when you’re cutting all those pineapples. :)
Nathan Gardner haha, good cook sent me a bunch of stuff, so I was using it to see how it was and to get in their good graces (but they didn’t really care) and it was inferior to the victorinox, although it’s still quite a good knife. But I love my victorinox.
No need my friend! Own it. I'm not here for credit, I'm only trying to impress YOU, so you can then go out and impress someone else. It's the circle of life! 😉😂👊

i know I'm pretty randomly asking but does anybody know a good website to watch new series online?
No matter how many other sites I search for culinary information I always come right back to You!

Great video Steve. Love pineapple too, especially when it’s hollowed out and booze is put in it for a tasty adult beverage! Cheers!

We used to chew the core until it was just fiber. It was so tasty and juicy! It is quite a treat for the little people!
Good presentation and technique my friend.

I was at a Mediterranean restaurant recently and they offered sliced and pickled pineapple core as a condiment. It was pretty good!
I was thinking pickling would probably be the way to treat that sucka

The core is actually edible and full of nutrients. Just not as soft and juicy as the rest of the pieces (just now saw your comment on it lol)
Great video Steve! Pineapple art, and your really good at it!
Thank you brother!! It's that craft service experience 😉

I think you snuck a knife set in this episode.. you replaced your Victorinox with an 8" Good Cook?
How do you like the it compared to the Victorinox?
Nathan Gardner haha, good cook sent me a bunch of stuff, so I was using it to see how it was and to get in their good graces (but they didn’t really care) and it was inferior to the victorinox, although it’s still quite a good knife. But I love my victorinox.
It should smell like a pineapple. Great tips!
I love the boat thing.
This might be weird but I like the core lmao
Same, and it is very nice
You are adorable!
Can you make a pomegranate episode? ? Please and thank you
Your wish is my command. I bought pomegranates yesterday. Shooting it tomorrow! Mango video should be out Thursday...
NOT ANOTHER COOKING SHOW yay!!!! Can't wait. They're my fave
I’m sorry, but Scott Joplin’s Pineapple Rag should be playing in the background.
I’m going to impress the shit out of my wife. I will give credit once and then I’m claiming all this as my own.
No need my friend! Own it. I'm not here for credit, I'm only trying to impress YOU, so you can then go out and impress someone else. It's the circle of life! 😉😂👊
Wonder what he did with all that pineapple. That's a lot of pineapple lol
