the ballistic works really fine even caught an 88cm striper and it does its job, but because of the magsealed, ballistic is hard to maintain but if you intend to use it for freshwater it’ll be fine, With the vanford, 2500size was really light, i tried it a little bit for light jigging with 300m of pe1 but i havent caught anything yet so i cant tell you if its better than ballistic,
