Bruce Lee will never be forgotten, never. People are still talking about him now in 2024 after leaving this earth decades ago. This is how unique and special he was.
Bruce Lee was one of the greatest Philosophers and metaphysicians of our time. His lessons were a lot deeper than people realize.
Sad he did not believe in God
@@Bermuda8 he did not formally adhere to any one religion but from his whole outlook I would say he did.
That kid (supposedly an old man now) will never forget those lessons
Heard by 1993 he was a film director. Don't know what became of him now, but I can assume a lot of Bruce's philosophies served as an inspiration.

"Never take your eyes off your opponent!" a good advice indeed. Tatsu gave the same advice to one of the Foot members... though far more aggressively. 🤣
“Go….Play”
@@covert0overt_810 Miyagi gave the same advice to Daniel "Look eye! Always look eye."
A really great scene. Can such a philosophical scene be seen in other martial arts movies? Lee is a scary and wonderful master.
I guess this scene means 10,000 hours of practice in martial art.
That scene is a classic so true to real life though
A very strong teacher mindful and also physical.
His Zen was beautiful
Is this like Morpheus saying to Neo "Stop trying to hit me and HIT me"?
To look beyond what is right in front of you, to see everything and nothing, as an empty cup is not truly empty, but is full of air waiting to exchange it for something new. Yes, it all sounds like bs, until you simply open your mind to infinite possibility. Then it makes sense. And yes, Morpheus was right when he said one cannot be told what it is, they have to see it for themselves. Once you get it, you get it. Until then, you have to get there, instead of being dragged there by someone else. As for the kick, there has to be purpose, intent. Not anger, but meaning. Every action must have some meaning behind it, else it is a waste of time and energy.

If Bruce Lee were still alive today, I would love to be taught kung fu by him. 😊😊
if Bruce Lee were alive today he'd have a you tube channel , He wouldn't be a content provider thought
he'd be an EMOTIONAL CONTENT Provider

they would send him a gold button
he would slap them and say .... "don't look at the button or you will miss all that heavenly glory"

Be Water. R.I.P. Bruce Lee!
The point is simple.. respect your opponent and be tru to your feelings. Be prepared to engage
50 years ago this month, The Dragon was lain to rest...he was dressed in this outfit for his wake in Hong Kong, because of how much he loved it. But he was dressed differently for his viewing and burial in San Francisco, because of damage to his coffin during the flight to America.
Yeah I'd heard they had to switch coffins and change Bruce's clothes because His body purged/leaked fluid during the flight from Hong Kong back to Seattle
Handsome fella wasn't he, 'ole Bruce
Never take your eyes off from your opponent even when you bow....
first lesson in all dojos (or i think cuz was in mine).
But later in the movie, against O'hara, Bruce does indeed take his eyes off his opponent when bowing...
Legend has it Bruce is still smacking that kid in the head 🤣
Lol. Legend comment
Would you want him smack your head tho? 😆
Some kicks were physically done. The good one that Bruce liked was expressed.

Also my sensei scold me sometimes so think what Bruce Lee would do🥶
If you’re a fan of Dragon Ball, not only is this the same as Ultra Instinct, but this movie is where Dragon Ball gets its name from.
I've been in this monastery, one of the highlights of my life, weird heavy vibes in the air. Not necessarily negative, but there's clearly "stuff" there.
You're being watched by many, many "entities" "former people", whatever you might interpret them to be.
The negative side were the many angry street dogs on the way up to the mountain, thankfully had my bear spray and baton with me, nothing major happened.
I grew up experiencing paranormal phenomena and I'm extremely sensitive to a place's "energetic charge" or whatever you want to call it.
The monastery that appears where Bruce has the sparring with Sammo, on the other hand, had a not so welcoming vibe, but its energy was by far less vibrant or oppressive.
Visiting the locations where important events of certain people that influenced me took place is one of my "hobbies". Michael Jackson, Diego Maradona, Bruce Lee and Caravaggio are the main protagonists of these trips I do when I can.
Love that scene one of the best marshal's arts films ever made.
0:23 we need EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!
If they ever do an animated adaptation of Enter the Dragon, I could see Phil Lamarr using his Samurai Jack voice to voice Bruce Lee.
Now that would be cool
Bruce Lee " the cure for my ailment is within me"
Emotional damage
A very good tutorial even this short time only...!!!!

Bruce Lee est très fort en mièvrerie !
Please Come Back 💔💔
Legend 🙏
Bruce Lee with the enemy: I can beat you with an eyefold>
Also Bruce Lee : Never take your eyes off your opponent
Obviously the student isn't at Lee's level where he is capable of reacting fast enough if he wasn't looking. The purpose of the lesson he was giving is to reach out with your emotions. When you do this, you can feel your enemy and you no longer need your eyes to see
Wish I had him for a teacher 😊❤
Desde.argentina.siempre.te.recordaremos.bruce.lee.un.grande.entre.los.los.grandes.
fun fact: when bruce about to fight o'hara (boards dont hit back) he took his eyes off when he bowed hehehe
Yea I noticed that, perhaps it was a slip up, or not taking your eyes off an opponent while bowing is a sign of respect of some sort, I guess he didn't respect O'Hara to give him eye contact
Ohara was walk in the park. Not a bif enemy
Bruce can sense his opponent movement..

LMFAO, Hands down, Best part of the film
This video shows to us Bruce Lee as a strict martial arts instructor. He has no time for idle, petty stuff and takes training very seriously. He is also very strict when it comes to diets amongst him and his students. This is in order to enhance / improve performance as a good fighter. Here is a a list of foods that Lee would approve of:
1. Rice 2. Corn 3. Pasta 4. Potatoes ( in one movie he ate POTATO CHIPS)
5. Carrots 6. Beans
Lee was also way ahead of the curve when it came to his juicing. Lee would whip up his shakes with peanut butter, eggs, brewers yeast, and bananas. One time when no rice was available, he turned to pasta. Lee also banned coffee and cigarettes in training.
When it comes to fighting, Bruce Lee was strict, no games, and when it comes to dancing, Gene Kelly was strict, no games.
What does any of that have to do with that clip?
Thanks a lot Beerdy..🤷♂️🧐😄

How did it feel to you? It felt emotional.
I was talking to a good friend of Bruce and the Lee family and he told me that the funny thing about Bruce Lee is that he would literally ask everyone to try to hit him. It didn't matter if it was a regular person, a celebrity, or royalty, he had a habit of asking every single person he met to try to hit him. Sometimes it could be very awkward for both the person and Bruce's companions because it would be so random and out of the blue from him. So this scene in ETD reflects the l real life Bruce as he instructed everyone to try to hit him. It was a daily social habit of his. Often times the people he would ask wouldn't even be interested in martial arts and the were afraid if they'd hit him he'd react and hurt them
Dude, I was gonna say what you just said, lol. Whenever he did demos he'd often invite the biggest, toughest-looking person on stage and tell them "Hit me." That's how he got one of his early students, James DeMile. He was at Jim's adult school, called him up, and James, having been a boxer in the navy, thought the "little Chinaman" was nuts-until he found his arms tied up and Bruce knocking on his forehead with one hand going "Anybody home?" Ed Hart was a veteran of countless street fights and knocked people out with either hand, and Bruce, standing there with his hands folded at waist level, tied him up too. Ed asked to try again and this time Bruce started with both hands behind his back. Same result, lol.
"Im feel, im very feel"
I would have loved to be a student of Bruce

"Don't think". "Feel". I remember this scene. I used to rewind that a lot. And it shouldn't have to know how it felt. Like good for starters. The finger thing is still a bit complex to me. The slaps may seem harsh but legal as a martial arts máster. A sign of discipline. Same thing in the sequel movie hulk
