I didn't have a whole lot of BILT points. But the one time I used it in 2023 I booked a Hyatt Regency Dulles $220 room for 5000 BILT points. SCORE!

I got an upgrade after 1 night to a "better" view which was all ocean but if there were no ships passing in the night, it was pitch black. My original view was better because I preferred my view of the harbor and the ability to see the horses bathing in the morning.
There are so few suites at this Hilton resort so off-peak is when you'd stand a chance of getting a suite upgrade.

Your videos are the best! My Ritz-Carlton card gets us in to the Sapphire Lounge BOS and it also provides Primary CDW. We will be at the Hilton Barbados in March. I got the Citi Premier because of you, and also have the Hilton Business card.
So cool. We're pretty much twins 😂. Your gold status will definitely get you the free continental breakfast at the Hilton. Be adamant about the getting an upgrade. March is less busy than New Year's so they need to give you a good reason to not upgrade you.

I wonder how you mitigated the Airfare & Hotel spend with points...how that worked out.
I'm a Hilton loyalist so I used a combination of points and free night certs for my Hilton Stay. I transferred Citi points to JetBlue to book my flight. I earn Citi points easily. If you watch my vid launch today, you'll see another video on how I will earn lots more Citi points.
I will care more about the bilt card if they took mortgages until then the card is useless to me
Have you looked at BILT's transfer partners recently? A free card with arguably the best transfer partners. That's why I contend that this card is solid whether or not you rent or own. It's monthly perks which give elevated transfer bonuses. I've never seen a transfer bonus of up to 150%
My 2024 strategy is to take advantage of these transfers bonuses.
