Thank you for your genuine review for Hyundai i20 !
Your way of talking and voice really very good.
Yes i20 looks like premium and European quality car why because I live in aboard also live in India both places have experienced.
Normally Indians ko jaisa show up chahiye they don’t go with quality that’s why Maruti Suzuki Most popular in India only.
Indian mentality agar jaida paise dena hai toh should be something big doesn’t matter quality.
Same celerio car used both countries but made in India looks very cheap out of India looks nice.
Yeh sab company walon ko bhi maalum hai ki India ki soch kya hai.
Ford chevy samajh nehi paye they gone but they don’t compromise with quality they don’t sell car in 3 lakha.
    Indian ko safety nehi chahiye.
16 years se most of car main dekha hoon chalaya hoon auto gear in abroad but can’t see manual at all but in India different still can’t get auto gear 100% should be 6% manual 4% automatic.
Personally I liked Hyundai i20 really they done good job.

Very well said sir, for the ones who think i20 is overpriced kindly add all the values of its feature and compare with its competitors, u will definitely see the difference.
Its not about the size of the car, its always about the purpose and use as per your requirement.
For someone who usually drives in city and doesnt require much boot space and wants all the features= i20 is the best choice.
Also if you talk about driving on highways, i20 will perform much better in terms of efficiency and stability.
Always choose a segment as per your requirement and not just money per se.

Then go ahead man and buy them. Just because you don't want to spend this much on i20, then don't go for it but don't call it overpriced. Quality comes with price. If you say it is 1 lakh approx overpriced then I would simply say that approx sunroof is worth 50k price premium. Also bose sound system yep that is easily another 50k.

If baleno can cost upto 8.5 lakh on road for top end varient then why cannot petrol i20 top varient cost around10.5 lakh considering the fact that it is getting sunroof + bose sound system + better bulid quality + a tons of other features in it.
Also connected car features as well. What do you think it comes for free? This is a high level skillset that is put into it to make it work and yes there are full time software engineers who are making it happen i.e. the connected car features. Hence the price hike for this new i20
It is simply expensive because it is more luxurious and premium along with quality that is it. Rest depends on you buy whatever you want.

Tried the altroz but the engine drive and interior feel is not at all premium. Also tried Kia sonet it has a very stiff suspension that you will feel the road joints of cement roads in city drive. Finally i20 is a powerful car with 1.5 ltr diesel engine of creta and seltos in a hatchback with an ultra premium feel which only a certain classy Indian population can judge. For everyone else it might be a trick not treat.

    • @anirudhraj775

@@sumeetkaur9913 Seriously!? I mean 13 lakhs for a Hatchback!!? "Shoe will remain shoe, doesn't matters how much premium, gold-plated, dimond embedded etc and remains in foot. On the other hand, hat suits on head" (in reference to gimmick features like sunroof in a Hatchback.) Don't take my statement in wrong sense. What is a Hatchback? Compact body, low/flat design..etc, I can't even imagine using sunroof and standing in a Hatchback. So, it may be a treat for some people. I may be wrong. Unfortunately, many people lost the meaning of a car and attracted towards gimmick features... Only few of them consider ride quality, dynamics, steering, overall handling etc. with respect to the hard earned money which he/she has to pay. New i20 has great handling and ride quality and premiumness but can never justify its price. So, for a person seeking for premium feeling in this budget, a wise decision would be considering Honda City, Creta, EcoSport, Brezza, Verna, Skoda Rapid etc.

As correctly mentioned, it all boils down to requirement and priorities. Urban usage with good roads always makes sedan or hatchback a preferred option for riding comfort. But in most of the Indian roads, good roads throughout the journey is becoming myth day by day. This is the very reason more people shifting towards CSUV segment to balance and trying to get best of both the worlds, comfort and practicality
