The Aussies have more spine than all NATO “leaders” put together.

That's great news. Here's to hoping they deliver these tanks in a timely way, instead of deliberately dragging their feet like my (U.S.) government does at the behest of our top apparatchik Jake Sullivan.

I can't wait for the Aussies to declassify the Drop Bear loitering drone and the Magpie FPV. Although the scariest is the prospect of an AI-assisted Cassowary being deployed into combat, as that would be a real Pandora's Box situation

Hello Wes, and thank's for a, as always, informative video.
Some tech flaws though: You forgot to mention that Abrams lack, the "ejection seat for the commander"!
That is a very crucial standard, in Ruzzian T-tanks.
And the much better, crew safety is also worth to mention.
    Keep these coming.

Unfortunately the Abrams is easily taken out by a cheap drone. The ammunition storage blast doors are a weak point in the armor of the tank and the current Abrams in Ukraine have been taken off the front line after a few tanks had been lost due to this weakness. Hopefully there is a modification being worked on to increase the Abrams survivability on the modern battlefield. Remember, these tanks were state of the art back in the 1970’s but are now Cold War relics.

Still they are far more survivable for the crew than the russky junk.

Funny how the US has to approve the use or sale of weapons it has SOLD to other countries. Now why would anyone or any country of any sense allow this if THEY BUY THESE? It's the US's decision how, when, why and where to use and this TOTALLY controls their use, yet YOU BOUGHT IT??? Now there is absolutely no sense in that. Buy from South Korea who don't have these restrictions seems much more logical to me... and their systems are as good, if not better, than anything made in the US.

It's actually quite common.... Germany had to approve the transfer of Leopards and other equipment and Switzerland bans the transfer or sale of weapons to a country in an active conflict

@@petersmith7126 thanks. I know it's common, it just isn't logical, more especially if the seller has practically ALL power of use, repair, resale, redistribution and maintenance. Would you buy ANYTHING where the seller has this power over a buyer, cause I would think twice before deciding. Now South Korea has NO SUCH rules in their arms sales and they have the K2 tank and Chinmoo missiles, as capable if not more than their US counterpart..

someday. Probably they are glad to be rid of them. They are expensive and prone to breaking down. More trouble than they're worth.

It's a very generous offer of outdated tanks but put in context the Ukrainians have rewritten the rules on tank warfare.......tanks are going the same way as battleships. It's ironic that they are now accepting gifts that they made redundant
