The rod tethers are a great idea!
Awesome idea. Looks like a simple project that anyone on a tight budget could do.
Thanks man! It is an absolutely affordable project. I found everything, minus the bungee, in my garage.
Great idea!
Paint it pink with some glitter is what i would do differently. Great video. Great info. Thank you.
I'll take that into consideration when I make the next one for my wife 😁
I did this and it works amazingly
Great to hear! Glad it worked out for you 💪🏼
Wow, that’s pretty neat! Definitely gotta make one for myself. You can tell it’s made by someone with experience because of how it is.
😂😂 thanks Mike!
Love your content
Thanks Paul!
Just keep it up, your channel will grow.
Great build! Simple and easy effective
Thank you! It use this crate more than anything else on my kayak so definitely worth the few bucks it costs 🙌🏼
@@BeardedDadFishing awesome! Looks good and very functional
Great idea. Then I could also use it with my fold up 2 wheeled dolly when I go fishing on a pier. Just bungee it to the dolly.
That's a great idea! Easy way to take all of your tackle with you!
Perfect! Great idea!
Thanks bud!
Thank you for the video! This helped me so much!!
Glad it helped brother!
That’s awesome. I definitely need one with a lid. If I do ever tip over, I’m gonna lose hundred la of dollars worth of gear.
Definitely a valid concern! Number one reason I went with a lid for sure.
Should add a way to latch the lid shut and add some floats to it as well just in case of turn over
Love the floats idea for the crate. I'll be making a more in depth video soon and will figure out a way to incorporate that.
Nice! Any cost i can cut helps. Thanks!
I am getting ready to build mine, thinking about putting the rod holders at an angle towards the back, so they don't get tangled in branches so easily.
That's a change I'll be doing soon as well for the same reason. Low branches are not fun 😕
Question how do you safely secure that system to your kayak
I’ve always used the bungee system to lock it down.
Great idea until it rains and your stuff gets rust
Not too worried about rust as almost everything in there is subjected to getting wet at some point anyways. Thanks for watching!
