@@lynarystic Ha! Yes, you are correct. I just meant that in my experience, the physical, real life history & archeology of such Biblical artifacts isn't really talked about. My aunt was a Catholic Nun her whole life & she would come to visit no less than once a week, all the years I was growing up at home. We never talked about such things. In addition, I attended Parochial School throughout grade school. Again, it was never talked about. Even the biggies like the possibility that they'd found the Noah's Ark was only discussed on the secular news. This is why it's so frustrating when I watch these videos or read articles on how some archaeologist discovered some site or incredible evidence, some 100 years ago yet, it's as though it never happened! Why? At my tender age of 51, my walk of faith could have been infinitely stronger at an earlier age and it definitely would have been more fulfilling. In my mind, that's a crime. In fact I'm hoping to start a teen/HS Bible study at my church come spring, that's focused on using the Bible as a roadmap for life & what additional proof is being provided through Biblical archaeology.

I probably won't ever make it to Israel in this age, but videos like this are the next best thing.
@StageWatcher Tour with Joel is a bit physically taxing. We walked about 5 to 7 miles per day and some days it was shorter. Hiking shoes will be best especially trekking to Qumran Cave 1 and other off the beaten path areas.
@carsved9554 Literally on the other side of the planet. 😄 With planes, of course, it's a relatively trivial distance, but I'm limited by finances and a personal dislike of long trips.

@@thomastaylor6699 Correct and understood! But All Christians have a purpose and Joel is following his purpose. He’s being used to uncover what GOD hid for such a time as this. I believe scripture can apply to more than one specific meaning. Much evil is being brought to light in these times.
Don’t take a verse out of its context. What Jesus meant when He said that, is that everyone’s works, thoughts, and intentions will be exposed on judgement day. Nothing about archeology. Although I agree that Biblical archeology is very important

A quick Google search will also show you Jesus says he will return quickly in Revelations several times, including about other people who also died with no second coming.
He is 2,000 years late. I remain confident he is not coming back

Several times in Revelations, Jesus says he will “return quickly”, including when referring to other people who also died with no second coming.
Are you reading a true bible???
Every prediction of his return since has passed uneventfully. Some sects making new guesses of his return when their previous didn’t occur. You can guess how popular those sects are now hehe.
What date (or even year, decade, century, generation etc) does your sect claim for Jesus to return? Do we have to wait another 2,000 years for Jesus to fulfil his own failed claim???

Brother Joel, although I’ve seen this video before and was impressed, this time, so close to Easter, I was moved to tears. A simple “Torah arch,” an ancient Christian inscription specifically mentioning Jesus, uncovered under layers of millennia-old rubble, and the wide angle view of ancient Jerusalem captured in a mosaic in Rome, one cannot help but fall to his knees. God bless you brother and praise be to God who created you and formed your eagle eye, analytical mind, and tender heart.

This morning I was thrilled to see another Expedition Bible video on my feed. Thank you for your dedication and excellence that you put in your work for the glory of God! Every video of yours that I have watched has been a quality presentation of very interesting archeology and how it relates to the Bible, but you are so good about magnifying the work of God on our behalf. I don't doubt the validity of this being the "Upper Room" where the "Last Supper" took place. I do ask however, "How large is this room? It is plenty large enough for the Lord and the disciples but was it big enough for the "120" post Crucifixion followers?

I absolutely love this. As an apostolic Pentecostal I think it’s great to finally see something highlights the heritage I’m carrying on. We are first church in our teachings and our way of life. We live the message of the apostles. This is so cool to see where it all took place and where the church started. Thank you for what you do!

So yet another 20th century born teaching claiming to be the first and true church in practice... While there are certainly false churches in abundance there are also several churches under different names that continue to teach biblical Christianity. One common lesson many mature Christians learn is that any church claiming to be the only correct one is without doubt not, and in fact in almost all cases it is actually a cult using the Christianity as a name brand. I'm not saying this is what your church teaches but we must all be careful that we do not sit so comfortably within our own preferred echo chambers that we begin to think we are the only ones who are correct and biblical.
You should really get these videos peer reviewed and submit them to academic publications so they can be helpful to college students and researchers! This was a very clear, concise, and in depth historical and geographical study of the upper room. Thank you!
These videos are very much in line with his book. I highly recommend it.

Every man was to present himself at the temple at 9am when Pentecost had 'fully come'
It was mandatory for the feast of weeks (Pentecost).
There was no one in the streets.
They were all in the Temple when God showed up.

Thank you for your passion and studios investigation and scholarship, being our eyes and guide in the significant places where the footsteps of our Lord, along the trail of redemption, leads to Calvary. The passing of millennia since His work at the cross, brought to my mind this parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.” Matthew 13:33. The three measures speaks to me thus: The first two measures speak of the 2,000 thousand years since the Lord's work of redemption, until now. The last measure would be the Millennium, completing the gathering of the ones called to be His at the end of times, in the New Heaven and the New Earth. Revelation 21:1-7
