Interesting to note according to Abiram Publications The name NATHAN means "He will give"...Amazing!
From Abiram Publications site for the name NATHAN...
"The name Nathan doesn't seem to denote something that is given (as NOBSE Study Bible Name List suggests with the meaning of Gift), but rather an active form of the verb: He Will Give. Jones' Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names reads Given."

As a teacher, I can't begin to tell you how heartwarming this particular video is. Sometimes, the Nathan's that frustrate us to no end turn out to be our richest blessings. Dr. Barkay's story is tremendously touching. How his father used to bless him in Hebrew, and the Lord led Dr. Barklay to find the 1st temple period scrolls inscribed with the priestly benediction in the oldest Hebrew form is an awesome work that ONLY GOD can do. This video brought me to chills and to tears. It is by far my favorite.

Well, it's now been robbed and looted.. and we literally learned nothing from it. Did anyone doubt that Jews worshipped God in Jerusalem in the time of Jeremiah? He did the same exact thing he complains about people doing in ancient times. He desecrated graves for fancy trinkets. It makes no difference that he has the title of "Dr." to the people who wished to be buried with those items for eternity. I am surprised the Jewish government allows this type of thing to happen to the graves of their own people.

Dr. Barkay gave a talk on the silver scrolls excavated in that region. Every day there was so fascinating. Speak of the Bible, about "Father and I are One " If i said my mother and I are one, does that mean I am my mother? No! It means I'm like my mother. Jesus is like his Father, same image. If Jesus is the Father, why does bible saying jesus sitting at the right side of God? Why didn't Jesus sit on God's throne if he is God? Hebrews 1:3
He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty
Is Jesus under God's curse? Because
Deuteronomy 21:3 says the body shall not remain all night on the tree (cross) , but you shall bury him the same day, for a hanged man is cursed by God.
Is Jesus Christ really the Son of God? Because in
Luke 3:38 it says Adam is son of God. "Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God."
      In Exodus 4:22
      Israel is God's firstborn son.
" Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord, Israel is my firstborn son "
I'm proud to be Marminshael (Believer of El). I love my religion. I love my God Elaha ( El for short, Elaha is known as Allah in the Arabic language) This is my religion. Bowing down to the One God, not 3 as One God. And not eat pork, and cover head when praying. My religion is similar to the Islamic religion.

Come over and see for yourself, It's really interesting and fun and beautiful and educating. For normal Israelis (Jews) who read the Bible not as something ancient and remote - but like everyday newspaper, or history book or law-book -- the language is the same and we read it quite fluently (with the exception of few words here and there that are a little puzzling - but in the end they're few, and the contexts is overwhelmingly well understood) For us - who try to persuade the world that tries to explain to us how "this is Palestine", is just... well... ridiculous. We know the names of each stone there... We wrote this book and never forgot a word of it, and now that we're back on this land, is rings a bell with every step you make. It's home!

I remember people thought it was funny and weird - especially from a little kid - when everyone else wanted to be firefighters, astronauts, etc.. "The gullibility of religious people who consistently never demand evidence for anything ..."
What about the gullibility of atheistic people who never demand evidence for claims that put Christians in a bad light? Like the false claim that "religious" people never demand evidence for anything? I _frequently_ ask for evidence from critics of Christianity and the Bible, and I _rarely_ get any.
"I also don't know how TH-camrs acquire money on their channels."
One way is that it's based on the ads that TH-cam runs on their videos. The more the videos are watched, the more the ads are viewed, so the more that TH-cam pays them.
"Conceivably, the individual (or individuals) is endeavoring to get people emotional by utilizing click-bate videos to enhance their viewership."

Hi Scout ~ There have been a few. Recently, there were 3 new online and TV shows depicting a discovery of ANOTHER metal scroll found by a combined team of archeologists. The Head of this discovery was an American who lead a team with a number of Israeli and foreign scholars over a several year “resifting” of dump piles at a well known excavation site in Israel. They uncovered an incredible number of artifacts with the use of new technological methods.
One such episode was released by “Unbelievable” …an UK TH-cam channel. Another was released by FIRST CENTURY FOUNDATIONS…a Canadian online channel. It was also documented on ONE FOR ISRAEL…an online Israeli channel. All of these are great CHRISTIAN TH-cam channels - offering skeptics, nonbelievers, and Christians alike, interesting topics.
If you are searching for a TV option…Associates for Biblical Research (ABR) has likely offered a TV episode about this latest discovery of which I speak, as the Head/Lead of the excavation is both a part of ABR and an American at a seminary in Texas by the name of Dr. Scott Stripling.
Dr. Stripling and ABR offer the public some amazing BIBLICAL archeology shows, of which you may enjoy.
I hope this was helpful! MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your Love Ones!!

The reason no one did it before now was because before Trump, telling whopper lies to people was generally called out and proven false right away, but since Trump, Reality does not matter, facts do not matter, what matters is how far you can push your insanity to live in an alternate reality. The psychotic break from reality is accepted by tens of thousands wholesale now, so putting out lies no longer matters! That is why all these AMAZING stories that no one ever heard before are coming out NOW! If you do just a LITTLE research, these have been around since 1979, and MOST archeologists date them to 100 to 200 BC, not 700 BC!!! Look at images of the scrolls, side by side by what these people are claiming it states, and the characters are NOTHING like what they claim! They are not even close, and where they repeat words, the scrolls DO NOT!

It's truly awesome that the blessing my pastor does to me and my church every Sunday, is the same blessing that someone in the 7th century BC loved so much they were buried with it in silver.
Like, the same feelings of joy, and thankfulness, and of being blessed, that I feel every Sunday, are the same feelings of someone 2700 years ago!
This honestly makes me happy. The Lord truly is great.

I'm very sad these finding are not mentioned by the Dead Sea Scrolls scholars and enthudiasts. I just found about it today May 2023. I've been a Dead Sea Scrolls's enthusiast for over two decades, never heard of these extraordinary finding before. I asked myself why?

Excellent work. You have a real talent for bringing these stories and objects to life. I appreciate how you take the time to put things into their historical context and even their physical scale so that one can really imagine what it was like to be there. Really good stuff - can't wait for the next video!

Yes, but it is also amazing that since 1979 no one has authenticated the claims he has made about the scrolls. Also, he didn't even acquire his PhD until 1985.

when you have an agressive agnostic like Ernie Bell , it does't matter what validated evidence has been found , or when , that supports the Bible , or God existing - they will do their damnest to refute it , even when that's a lost cause ; that's' the hill they chose to die on'.
And it 's all due to the fact they do not want God in their life - any evidence God exists , which includes archaeology proving the Bible true cause people like Ernie to take such an obvious ridicluas stance .
It comes with living anong the un Godly , for now .😎✌️

This video is wonderful on so many levels. Dr Barkay's story telling is witty and well paced. I had to pause a number of times to collect myself from the laughter on hearing his recounting of the events with Nathan. We can all picture it. I think it's so great that they include the children. But the laughter turned to chills down my spine when he read the passage from Numbers. There, in this tomb for 2500 years was this little inscription on a piece of silver with the words that have been handed down to us and now, I can turn in my Bible an read them. Praise God for His word and it's preservation!

Love that I-ate-crow line: “as it turned out, *he* made the discovery of *my* lifetime.” EDIT: also, the words on the scrolls were in a verse I heard on the radio yesterday, and thought “I’ve read and heard this before, but never remembered it until now.” And I remembered that BEFORE the archaeologist spoke of how these were the first words he heard in Hebrew from his father in the death camps!!!
Signs of affirmation? Undoubtedly... And still not the clearest I’ve seen in my life. God is good. Thank you for serving him, sir. Your channel is a blessing.

Yes, Dr. Barkai probably has kept in touch with Nathan for the last 40 years. I can only imagine what their relationship must be like.
It has got to humble him that Nathan made the discovery of Dr. Barkai's life..
