SpaceX is targeting Sunday, May 12, for a Falcon 9 launch of 23 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Liftoff is targeted for 8:53 p.m. EDT (00:53 UTC, 02:53 CEST - May 13), with backup opportunities available until 12:11 a.m. EDT on Monday, May 13. Additional opportunities are also available on Monday, May 13, starting at 8:59 p.m. EDT.
Space Affairs live stream begins ca. 10 minutes before the planned T-Zero.
This is the 15th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched SES-22, ispace's HAKUTO-R MISSION 1, Amazonas-6, CRS-27, Bandwagon-1, and nine Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
As always for Starlink launches, expect changes in T-Zero during the open launch window
For our astronomer friends who asked us about the inclination (and people in the areas who want to see the launch in person): The Satellites will be delivered to a 530 km circular low-Earth orbit (LEO) at 43°; their initial orbit is 285 x 293 km at 43.00º. The flight direction from Cape Canaveral is South-East in the direction of the Bahamas. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
