You could also do the same thing with Nemesis and Galactica the last time I went there I went on Wicker Man first and then Nemesis and Forbidden Valley was practically abandoned Nemesis was only 15 minutes so I walked straight on

Hope to be going over to Alton Towers soon.... just one thing that i think has changed since Covid and thats not to bring cash as Alton Towers... i think all of Merlin Entertainments now only except cards and thats even to get the famous Alton Doughnuts.
Ahh yeah I've noticed they don't take cash as much as they used to, I personally prefer using card as it's easier to carry, but I know a lot of people prefer taking cash! Hope you have a great time when you go!
I do wish they'd approve some kind of commercial camera and harness or something, as I'd love to get some ride footage. Hubby has a YT channel and he's been challenged just by having a camera visible and not even recording on the ride. So, they are VERY strict - excessively so, to some extent (in my opinion).
Agreed! I don't see any problems when you have Go Pros with chest mounts, at some parks in the UK you can contact the park before visiting and then once you arrive they will check the harness is secure and then give you a wrist band to say you can film on rides, it's something I find difficult with my channel too when I do the vlogs, just want to film all the rides!

If you want to take your dog to a theme park, try Europa Park. They’re all for it there for some reason, though I didn’t see any trying out the coasters 😜

Duel is no more, there is a new experience in that building, called The Curse At Alton Manor. It probably has similar restrictions to Duel ..

A few questions
1) Are all the rides gonna be open when I go if u know (This Saturday)
2)do they take cash at the gate to get in?
3) do they still take the 2 for 1 vouchers
All rides should be open, it all depends if there's any technical issues on the day! The only ride I know which is currently closed is Hex, I'm not too sure if they take cash at the gate for tickets, they tend to prefer card payments so I'd recommend taking as little cash as possible, and they do still take the 2 for 1 vouchers (just double check any expiry dates first though!)

How would I remember which and the location of the lockers I put my stuff in. Idk if I’m just overthinking but it’s terrifying me that I’ll l forget.
As long as you remember which area you're in you'll be fine! Unless you use the ones at the entrance, just remember which rides are next to your locker 🙂 the lockers are also on the park map too! If you have your phone on you, take note or a photo of the locker number
What’s the rules on heelies? Saw a couple of kids whizzing around on them when we were there a couple of weeks ago, didn’t think they’d be allowed but didn’t see anyone say anything either. They weren’t causing problems but I can imagine they could be dangerous for users and other visitors.
I'm not actually sure with heelies, it doesn't say anywhere in the T&Cs about them so that may be why they were allowed, but yeah they can be quite dangerous when around other guests, especially when it's a busy day!
I work there, they’re not allowed on rides I’m pretty sure. Or you have to take the wheel off.
Me and my sis have heelies is it allowed at the park or not? Cuz we might be going there
I don't think it says anywhere that you can't wear them, but I'd recommend wearing something else as rollerblades are banned and it could fall under that category!
Anyone know what the rules would be on sleeping in the car? Even if it was just a few hours before driving home
I'm actually not too sure on that one! I suppose it would be okay though!
how do people take video on the smiler if no cameras are allowed on the rides?
You have to get special permission to film on any of the coasters, usually outside of park operating hours when no guests are in the park 🙂
So one question I have is….does energy drinks come into the prohibited items list as well or are you allowed to bring them in?

Why are there height restrictions (too tall)? I’m a massive coaster enthusiast and am 1.92m. I can understand that the restraints may not fit but I know someone that is 6’6 that is still able to fit in the restraints?
The maximum height is only for Rita, Spinball Whizzer and Th13teen, and the maximum height for those rides is 1.95m so you should be okay!
because if a 3 year old goes on a ride like galactica, they will be ejected and maybe get injured

Where I do stay I am coming alon towers finally for the first time and where do I fly into and I like your videos I so excited to ride to slimer it will my first time to the uk I so excited and do I have to wear mask to the park and can I bring my camera in my I want flim experience and the United Kingdom and at alon towers I am coming to UK from America and I have autism and And I love coasters
Hello! There's plenty of hotels to stay at in the area, I would personally recommend the Alton Towers Hotel! Closest airport is East Midlands Airport, you can bring a camera into the park however you can't use it on any of the rides, and you no longer have to wear a mask anywhere in the park 🙂 hope this helps! Does that sign say you aren't allowed to wear glasses on the ride?
It's any loose articles, so unless they have a strap around the back then you might be asked to remove them whilst you ride
@@attractionsbeyond MY dad wears glasses and 2 visits to alton towers ago, he almost forgot to take them off (i think on galactica) and had to hold them for dear life for the whole ride. Another time, he had to quickly put his glasses case in his pocket on the smiler and it got really cracked. Great video!

I got so bored out of my head way before getting half-way through with this vid, so please forgive me if a major gripe of mine is subsequently covered.
The last time I was there, admittedly over a decade ago, they had a strict rule than no one could leave a queue for whatever reason. And they'd have pimply teens facistly monitoring each major ride. Yet they'd have up to 2hr queues. What does a person who needs a wee do? Pee right there or not go on a decent coaster all day?
I think their rules on this stink.
Since when was smoking fully band? By law you can't fully ban it as you are outside.
I think the rule has been around a while, its probably not banned by law however the park prohibits it, there are quite a few parks with similar rules, having said that though there's plenty of designated areas around the park 🙂
