A good tip for players working their way through leveling up the Sorcery bench is keep any Failed Sorcery Pages they find and then put them in the Dismantling bench, which will yield Black Blood which is needed for some of the higher level Sorcery bench upgrades. Doing this way is far easier than trying to harvest it in the wild.
Game does point you towards some of these with the journey system, thrall taker has making gruel as a step while the dismantler one has you putting various bits into a grinder
Whoa, TIL about Bread and Water-filled Glass Flask (alternate) and I've been playing for years. For ichor I find that I _always_ need _Compost_ and _Potent Compost_ so ALL the Putrid Meat is always going into a Compost Heap since it is far faster just to use a pick on spiders to get mass quantities of Ichor. Still handy to know when you are short by a few though. Great video!
Let's not forget where most of that blood for blood sausages comes from. And non-Yoggites call our practices of consuming flesh of slain humans disgusting xD
I've played since console launch (but i did take 3 years off) I never knew about filling a flask with water from melting ice. I could be wrong but I believe the blood sausage is a learnable recipe, it comes with one of the Cooking Specialists books you find.
Had no idea about the bread!!! Usually, if I'm encumbered, I'll start dumping stuff in the grinder, dryer and fluid press to see if anything works. That's how I learned most recipes ha ha
@Pixelcave LoL my buddies love dump chests, my OCD doesn't ha ha... I have to have organized/designated chests. It's terrible, I can spend hours just lining things up "properly"... but I'm sure you get it!!
1 more tip that not everyone knows = You can harvest Obsidian Ore/Crystals around the Volcano with a "Sickle" (yes a Sickle. Hey it's Funcom, so if you can get 'Tar' from Coal in a FLUID Press, well ... ) to get more 'Raw Ash' than you get when harvesting with a Pick or Pickaxe.
you can make putrid meat by putting any meat into a composter, great for when your overloaded on meat and need some ichor. it is significantly faster then waiting for it to decay normally. also, if you have a tier 4 tanner, you can farm fat grubs by making many composters and place 1 unit of compost inside, and it will generate a max of 50 fat grubs per composter, rather quickly. you can use this to make silk if you dont like spiders. you can also put animal carcasses into a fluid press and get resources.
not really a hidden craft, but a work around for making gold coins, is to put the gold bars into a treasury, then convert them to coins. you can also technically do this with silver to also make gold coins, the melt the coins to make bars.
oh, and steel can be made at a better ratio then a furnace using a blacksmiths table to do iron reinforcements to steel reinforcements. if you use the improved bench or better, the ratio is 1 iron bar to 1 reinforcement, 1 iron reinforcement to 1 steel reinforcement using 1 steelfire. then you can turn the reinforcement into a steel bar. the conversion is 1 iron bar and steelfire to 1 steelbar, vs 5 iron bars and 1 steelfire to make 1 steel bar. just needs a tier 3 or higher blacksmith thrall
I haven't watch a video by you for awhile now but I started playing Conan again so now youtube says LOOK! Which is nice. Useful tips to know. Sidenote: I don't know why or how but for some reason your accent sounds stronger than before. Maybe you just have a new microphone or something, no idea but it's the strongest norwegian accent I think I've ever heard x) 🖖
Oh man... you mean the strongest Norwegian accent ever, from anybody? Come on! 😄 In any case, thanks for checking out our content again, and welcome back to Conan!
Your secret, my secret! 🤐🤐🤐 "Bloody sausage" !! Simple like that? I confess that I have never looked after that one before!! 🤣😅 Thank you Dearest Team PixelCave! You guys are fabulously amazing!! 🥰🤗😉
T3 alchemist works for oil too. I usually go to flotsam and get gold from the underwater chests. Then go to the merchant that sells alchemists. I usually get a t3 within 2-3 purchases. You can get lucky and get a T4 from her too
Don't remember all these but i know the Gruel and Blood sausages recipes will be told to you thru npc interaction. Of course i haven't played the game for a few years so i guess these NPC's may have been lost to updates.....
uhhh, I guess i shoulda waited till end of video to comment i guess; most of these used to be in game... i guess maybe they have broken questlines over the years since the game was fresh.
Hm, that's interesting. While there are no quests per se in game (except for the new Companions), I guess some things could be told through conversations and such. As typical with Conan Exiles, most things are learned indirectly, like lore through journals and lore stones, etc.
I hate to break the 69 comment number, But holy shit, i did NOT know about most of these. BREAD? i can get blood from animal heads!? SEEDS AND DRIED WOOD IN THE DRYER!? ive been AGONIZING over aloe seeds. My ass BLEEDS a LOT. The wiki said you can only get them from aloe plants as a % chance drop! This is gonna change everything for my group lol

Didn't know that good to know
2956 hours of Conan Exiles and I have just now learned how to make bread and blood sausage
Lol not sure how many hours I've got not at my Xbox and it says in days I'm pretty sure but yeah I actually didn't know those two lol
Same! x)

Ssshhhhhhh.... nobody needs to know. 🤭
Animal Heads?... That's where I get mine.
@@redmage777ayo, you can do tha-?
Oh.
Oh ive made a grievous mistake
I've got over 10k hours in Conan so most of this I knew but I did not know about the dryer seed trick! Learn something new everyday lol.
10k hours? My friend, you bow to no one!
Thank you so much, been playing for years but had idea you can do so many different recipes
Wanna join an xbox rp server?

That's a great way to discover recipes... we usually just have "dump chests" to sort out later, this sounds better! 🙂
@Pixelcave LoL my buddies love dump chests, my OCD doesn't ha ha... I have to have organized/designated chests. It's terrible, I can spend hours just lining things up "properly"... but I'm sure you get it!!
Oh, me too, I need to organize and keep everything tidy... but tell that to the other half of Pixelcave (that's why we have dump chests 😂).
@Pixelcave LoL the never-ending cycle!! Have a great rest of your week my dude!!

Thank you, might keep that in mind for future resource harvesting tips!
Nice tipps, thank you!
4 years and I had no idea about the spice and salt. Thank you =)
Love this video after a long break from the game. And love your channel!
Aww, thank you so much!
Für mich war leider nichts mehr dabei, aber für Anfänger und welche die noch nicht lange dabei sind finde ich es super.👍
Dankeschön! 😀
Nice. Some of these I didn't know. I been play for a while. From back in beta.
Thanks! It's always surprising how much there's to discover in this game.
putrid meat to ichor is a good one, i do feel like some of these are in the journeys as well
A few thousand hours and I’m just now learning how to make bread!

I have some in mind, always make bread on furnaces and get spice from plants

@@Pixelcave haha yep xD At least from any Norwegian that I've ever come across so far :P
I don't mind, you sound wholesome as fekk and always have.
Use a sickle on obsidian nodes; yields raw ash and crystal only
Definitely a great tip for resource harvesting! 👍

@Pixelcave My pleasure! 🤗
omg so many of these r awesome
Once I learnt to make oil with seeds my life changed.
Best way to make oil is with t4 alchemist , bark + ichor = 5 oil
@@Korupshn I had to sit down in shock... call me the US government the way I need oil
T3 alchemist works for oil too. I usually go to flotsam and get gold from the underwater chests. Then go to the merchant that sells alchemists. I usually get a t3 within 2-3 purchases. You can get lucky and get a T4 from her too
I have been making spice the hard way all this time 😂 I did not know you can use fiber instead thanks 👍👍👍
There's always something new to discover, that's the beauty of this game. May your Spice flow! 😀

Can you do all t4 thrall reward all tier purge
Fun fact: Cannibal thralls get poisoned when ate human flesh lol
That doesn’t make sense, and thus, it makes every sense for conan exiles 😆
Even when cooked?
that's why they have cooks... EDIT: am I missing something? what's the joke?
whats that plant in the bread recipe?
The one next to Plant Fiber is Leavening Agent (often found around Hops plants).
哇!面包和血肠我是真不知道!谢谢
These recipes are very hidden, you learn most of them just following the Journeys.
Many of these "secret" recipes are taught in the game through the journey system.
Awesome recap of the hidden recipes listed on Reddit, the forum, and in the Wiki.
In all seriousness, if you think like that, all content exists in some shape or form somewhere, doesn't mean people can't cover a topic independently.
Fish make oil
charcoil kiln does not seem to work :( even with coal it wont turn on.
How about rare spices?
Only drops from NPCs, not craftable to my knowledge, so not really part of this guide.
I hate to break the 69 comment number,
But holy shit, i did NOT know about most of these. BREAD?

I am sadly admitted to tell you all after about 3790 hours playing this game..I just learned to make bread... :(
This is all pretty standard stuff
you said Secret,,
Wow, the basic things that the game itself explains require a separate video. Probably because nothing interesting happens in the game itself.
Why doesn't the game just tell you these recipes? Unfathomably poor UI design.
