  • Jonas Vingegaard is finally out of the hospital and will be able to tackle his 2024 season with or without Tour de France 2024. He has made a plan to do so after watching Amstel Gold Race 2024 with Tom Pidcock and Mathieu van der Poel, Fleche Wallonne 2024 with Stephen Williams and the abandonment of Matias Skjelmose Jensen totally k.o., and also after watching Chris Froome's wife gambol on his social media. However, how will he be able to recover from the crash without resorting to doping? Today we explain how the always clean Vingegaard will be able to win the Tour de France 2024.

Chris Horner is a genius at playing the game. Some might call it trolling, but I call it performance art. Last year he raised concerns about Pogacar's chances of winning le Tour after breaking his wrist in a spring classic. No mention of the fact he could be on a trainer within a couple days. Now we have a guy whose collarbone was broken, in addition to broken ribs and a punctured lung, and Chris Horner is suggesting that Vingegaard might still win le Tour. According to Horner's logic, that notion should beggar belief. But here he is cheerfully suggesting that Vingegaard might still win the Tour. Horner is a deft comedian.

Just watched Horner’s video on top riders’ recovery prospects. I found it impeccably reasonable and well-balanced. On Vingo, he implied that he might have a (small?) TdF chance but that the ‘red lights were flashing’ and that he needs to be quickly back on the bike, to develop well thereafter and to be fortunate enough to benefit from week 1 instead of being fatigued from it. Sounds perfectly sensible to me🤷‍♂️

I really like Skjelmose. He's also still young and allready proved a lot. Also the guys off Uno-X damn there's some serious talent. And then they have Uno-X u23 too and there's also a lot off great talent. I will never be Vingegaard fan. But Skjelmose is one off my favourite cyclists. He can do it all. TT, Hills, Medium Mountains and even some high mountains. Not enough to win like TDF. But he can ride top 10 and win stages. Or go for stages in grand tours and wins in smaller tours. Like Tour de Suisse that he won previous year.

Perhaps the injury of Vino has been exaggerated in order to frame his "comeback" as heroic. So that when Pogo wipes the road with him, he is still the hero for the mere effort. Pro cycling is not far from professional wrestling.

I think I figured it out: a motor that can pass infrared scans? It would have to be thermally insulated from the frame with proper internal ventilation. They might want to put magnets inside the wheels and use an electromagnet with timed pulses. Then the wheel becomes the motor!

look at team toll their tenerife "training " is taking after thrusting riders into primes not seen for laporte who is not himself, DVB from high mountain dom like devolder became , benoot beside strade neverbeen so consistent especially i mountains, Wout is an exception as hes just exceptional talent if anything mis managed. He hasnt looked himself and more so like laporte it seems as much moral as anything and these altitude camps are just silly. You dont get fit stayig i that hotel you get fit training at altitude and sleeping/recovering at sea level or as close ideally any mountaineer enthusiasts will know. Why climbers have chamber that mountaieers use simultaing whatever needed for silpy sleeping and recovering or hypoxia and erebral edema or whatever. Laporte climbing mountains, Nathan had that awful concussion in tour so im glad health is forefront but having heart condition. Jonas physiological changes look at 2021 where he finished 2nd and looked great on ventoux to whats going on now hes had physical trabsofrmation like froome did. Its been concerning for anyone whos followed cycling a while ...I haent missed tour since 1989 and classics season, although they have been hard to see live until Fabian, Boonen era. Used to be combination of post race VHS and really great magazines that I still kept my collection of worth their weight in gold!!! Editors, destination mountain rides with route details just captured imaginnation. Hope recovery and health for everyone but for all success Sepp was only real lovable character and even he has hardened by his standards recently feels like mercenary mentality like postal used to have wout has been the glue gifting stages and monuments and consistent aross calendar hes been absolutely immense for that team in a way youd maybe say Cancellara was to saxo, radioshack, Trek etc.
Sadly its taking tole on Wout at this point training at altitude for classics goals ? hes way too talented to need that Mathieu just rests and targets handful of races altitdue isnt going to help in race where wind and punchy climbs at sea level are obstacle. I blame team and trainers and whoever around him allowed this approach he deserves at least a flanders with skill level he showed at 2022 tour I know he doesnt have same mentality as Tadej and Matheu who have that show you instead of tell you uber confidence of dominant riders Wout has all the skill and strength they have really over raced him.
