I was standing on the inside of Graham Hill bend and saw an Ammonite stuck on the back of your car 😭Looked like a baulky gearchange issue at Clearways too?
Yes got ran wide by another car unfortunately and lost momentum out of Druids. Think the gear change at clearways was my fault, a bad habit I need to kick. Please subscribe if you can, might help raise some pennies towards replacement parts (optimistic I know!)
In the 1980s the Formula Ford Festival had entries from around 200 drivers. They had testing all week. The paddock was literally jam-packed with cars, trailers, motorhomes, caravans. They needed 8 heats, all with full grids, then quarter finals, semis and the Grand Final. These days it's uncompetitive and the paddock is almost empty. They need to stop calling this meeting the FF Festival.
@@Nigel-ef2ft Granted it’s not the same as the 1980’s. However I think it’s ultra competitive, just take a look at the lap times and quality of the top entrants. Hopefully with a bit of support the festival can get a bit closer to what it was.
I just think they should stop calling it the FF Festival. My mate was there last year and said it was basically a saloon car club meeting with a couple of FF races.@@miloudiben
Sadly not, I could have been tidier and avoided the carnage but such is life. Would be great if you could subscribe, trying to get the numbers up in the vague hope I might be able to get some revenue towards repairs 😵💫😪
Unlucky mate, great driving otherwise. I would love to get into this category of racing but I have no idea how to. Do I need to keep karting and hope to get spotted by a team or should I try some kind of arrive and drive
Thanks buddy, karting will certainly help you. A lot of young drivers are coming from Sim racing as well, Jason Smyth and Jordan Kelly are examples I believe. Unfortunately a lot of it comes down to money, I’m a privateer so save every penny I can to race with the help of a good friend. So you don’t need a team to spot you, there are ways to get on the grid but truthfully it can be difficult on a tight budget. Formula Vee is well worth a look as an alternative.
Very clean and not your fault. You’ll get them next time! 💪🏻
Thanks buddy, please subscribe if you can more videos to follow!
Great drive buddy! I enjoyed that - now subbed 🙂👍
Thank you Tim much appreciated!
The car was driving you at the hairpin almost every lap and put you in the place to get taken out. I was enjoying the dice otherwise. Well done!
Spot on Nick, I was enjoying it too up to that point! Please subscribe if you can buddy!

Thanks buddy I was thinking exactly that before the bump. Please subscribe if you can! Cheers, Ben
First one pushed you off, second one finished you off. Not much you could have done about that 🤦
