Most definitely the game has broken up pictures and when i tried to go the other way it ended up getting worse because i couldn't get him out and so I had to restart the ps4 pro and not only that it looks like even if u hit the guards 10x or more they still won't die and they wind up getting stuck with u when ur trying to escape from them

It's like having gorilla glue in the bottom of the hats!
Still my favourite AC, I dont know why, but it just is.
It takes place during one of the best times in history.
It also includes all the dlc as well as liberation
This game had my favorite combat by far. Then Brotherhood . Next is unity, after it was repaired. I'm not really into the Dark Souls style combat of the new games. I understand this paints a picture of what kind of gamer I am but there you have it :-)
since they bring dark soul style combat...i quit the franchise.
You like easy games
Im more of a puzzle guy and love taking part in a great story driven game and realism. I dont need to spend hours smashing the same button and roll around dodging 100 times to kill a monster to find self accomplishment.@@andrew1470
@@danylepage8338 I couldn't get more than a few hours into Assassin's Creed Origins because on top of the combat, they also took away is Cinematic camera 4 the NPC dialogue. That pushed did over-the-top for me. Just felt so lazy and I was so bored every time I have to speak to an npc.
I can't say that Odyssey is still worth fighting. They brought the Cinematic camera back and there are enough for a qualities about it where I forgive the combat. I guess I can compare to Kotor. No one played those games for the amazing combat. They forgave the combat because everything else was so awesome
@@andrew1470 I guess you could say that's the easy answer , but that doesn't really make sense because I do like other very difficult games. I love the Cinematic quality to the combat in Assassin's Creed 3. You feel like a true master... Sort of like the movie Zorro how he effortlessly fought off an entire Armada of troops in the Stables. You actually feel like a master. I do, however, feel like a master when the combat looks clunky. Strike strike roll roll, strike roll strike roll.... I don't think a master would fight like that in real life. Ac3 u feel like Michaelangelo with a paintbrush. Just tons of style.
comparing this to red deda remption 2 was a bad idea there 2 completetly diffrent games to start with this is why i hate ign unless its a call of duty game they dont give fair reviews! ive noticed thats why i will never give them a 2nd chance the score tells me all i need to know
And yet the reviewer is judging this last-generation game off the fact that it feels like a last-generation game. How dumb are these reviewers? It is a last generation game since it came out on the PS3 and Xbox 360. No wonder why no one takes them seriously.
Ya....guys u are right. I don't think so any other games has a polished open work like ac3 had.(regarding 2012 generation games).I am just fond of exploring Boston.
Firstly, Keep in Mind AC3 Remastered still is competing against 2019 games for your 2019 money with its 2012 design. It's absoutly reasonable to judge a remastered version like this because 2019 consumers aren't going to go extra easy on it anyway.
Secondly, this is a fair review. The reviewer gave the game his best and judged it accordingly. The score is just a summary

I will always love this game. I was obsessed with assassins creed since grade 4 and my parents finally let me play it after 2 years of begging. Easily the happiest days of my life. Tried to play it again for a bit but it wasn’t as fun as when I was 12. I’ll just remember it as the best game ever tho
I have played every AC game when they came out. Even bought Bloodlines on PSP when I was a kid day one. Ubisoft has improved the franchise so much and is one of my favorite AAA companies. Especially with the quality games they have been putting out in recent years
Literally no one asked for this. They should’ve remake Assassins Creed Chronicles: China into full fledged triple A game. They missed one the best settings in AC with side scroller.
I've seen so many people ask for this. You must've looked in the wrong place.
I preload it on my ps4 and wait for tomorrow.
Wait you can preload it!
They said there was no preload for consoles...and there u are
How do you preload?
Howwww ???
@@eniggaracer not possible dude...Only tomorrow we can download the game in console...
AC 3 is the best.I love Ubisoft for bringing it back
I don’t like that we can’t do stealth assassinations with the tomahawk anymore or with fists. Kind of pisses me off
They should remaster ac brotherhood that game was amazing, training and calling in your own assassins
Ac2 brotherhood and revelations did have a next gen remaster in 2016
Wish it brought back the multiplayer, it was actually a ton of fun and the only ac multiplayer i really put time into
0:50 " Eye Seven Seven Seventy K" = i7 770k? o.O i7 7700k*
I couldn't get into AC3 on PS3 because of framerate issues and bugs, also franchise fatigue. Haven't played AC since AC3 and will say Ive been more invested this time around, for me it's not just about the graphics but the performance is enhanced as well
How can original review get more points if this is improved version?
One word:
"IGN"
that review was made in 2012
possibly by a different reviewer
this one is done to be more in line with games of 2019
or at least remasters
and tbh this isn't that great of a remaster like many other remasters you see nowadays
and I think that's what the point is for
Different reviewers, IGN isn't a hive mind.
or actually its not improved at all
They review it as a remaster and they have to consider all the new entries of the franchise and compare it with them.Back in 2012 AC3 was the latest entry of the franchise and they review it as that
I played the ps3 version back in 2012. I am currently playing this on ps4 and I am really enjoying it! He should have given an 8 or 8.5. It has all the single player dlc as well as ac liberations HD! great bargain if you ask me.
Wait so he was complaining about characters talking to you as they walk with you? Wtf? How about they say nothing then lmao
This was the one part of the review I didn't understand! Every game does this...every single one. I mean a lot of Red Dead 2 is riding or walking with some NPCs and listening to them!
No... he was saying most of the game was spent doing that.. which is still true LOL. Gets annoying asf
@@SteelPlatinum 100% agree with you.
Really enjoyed the setting of this game.
I just replayed this last year and I can’t wait to play it again now. I’m a massive AC fan and I’ve played every game. This is one for me is by far the best. Only one I’ve completed multiple times. So glad this came with the AC odyssey seasons pass.
They still haven't fixed Desmonds hair or facial animations. Compare cutscene Desmond to gameplay Desmond. It's like quality downgrades everywhere. I mean to think this would be where they should've started. Damnit Ubisoft. Game Only has new lighting, some extra textures and Res...and BAM now it's a remaster?? Go look at Metro or Final Fantasy for real remaster....this here is called a re-graphic/re-texture. again...Damnit Unisoft!
Says game had improvements
Orignal 8.5/10
Remastered 7.8/10
*NANI!?*
shaheer games _! Haha somehow I can hear your comments
Can the fix the part of the game where you can’t assassinate anyone without everyone hearing it
This was a great looking AC game and the story was great but damn! I remember some of the missions being boring as hell and it just lacked fun assassination missions over all, that let the game down for me. I found black flag the most fun
Better texture for characters? are you sure about that?
This and Black flag are my all time favorite and Odyssey is shaping up to be the next(Still havent finished it from day one lol)
This game ruined Assassin's Creed for me. It had so much potential to be the best, but instead fell flat on its face.
Take assassin's back to more linear focus story like assassin's 2. PLEASEEE UBISOFT!
This is the only game that I actually would buy as a remastered because its my favourite game, Desmond miles was the best
Yes man i totaly agree
1) This was a very short review
2) Does it run at 60fps on base PS4?
3) What about the DLC?
If the pro can’t run it at 60 I imagine the non wont be able to
@@scootsmcdoots80 PS4 Pro runs the game at native 4K 30fps
I'm talking about 1080p... It's a last gen game, being remastered means being able to run at 1080p/60fps on base next gen consoles like Dark Souls REMASTERED. At this point, excuses are UNACCEPTABLE!
@@TheGman901 Yeah that's not what remastered means dude, i'd prefer 60 but it's not standard for remasters.
Seth, Max, I don’t know if you remember guys. AC3 is a weird one but it does actually have the whistle-just not the main character...only his father-a TEMPLAR. I remember from the mission where he sneaks in and frees the Brits I think. Look, AC 2 & 2.5 all had the whistle too. AC 3 was changed to another international internal division. They messed up some staples. Don’t ask me why. It still makes no sense even today. It may be the same people that made Origins. Every other AC has had all the staples and added benefits...all except Syndicate. That’s the DMC 2 of AC. And I liked DMC 2. So that’s saying something.
People hate on this AC, but probably still spent money on Unity.
Cause unity is the best AC game. Black flag is a close second
Ubisoft should drop the present day storyline and just make games set in the past. I have 0 investment in Lyla or her friends. I get pissed every time I have to leave the past and play her missions.
I'd rather see Prince of Persia remastered. Anyone agree?
Absolutely. In fact, i would prefer new PoP games over new Assassins Creed any day. Even Forgotten Sands is better than most Assassin's Creed. Loved AC Origins and want to play Odyssey, but Prince of Persia... i would trow money at Ubisoft.
I find ac3 difficult in terms of gameplay wise. Map is big and confusing, controls does not work at times and money is hard to find.
Hiding in bushes was most definitely in the original game, IGN do your research
I think whistling is new though
@@tacticalgambit5190 whistling was definitely in 3, maybe specifically whistling from bushes might be a new a addition tbf
Never played anything before 3 but 3 and 4 were my absolute favorite
if ubisoft would remaster any other ac games, they should put AC Unity's parkour mechanics to the new entries
I remember playing 3 on the Wii U. Can't wait to get the Switch Version.
I need to know whether this remastered is optimised or not. Assassin creed 3 is known to be highly unoptimised and even high end systems can't play it :/ is this the same case with the remastered? Can someone let me know?
People are spoiled by amount of Assassin Creed games to the point when they want everything to be perfect like RDR2.... I've had PS3 Assassin's Creed 3 bundle right before Black Flag came out - loved everything about that game. Few years later bought Unity for 10$ when Syndicate came out (and cost 60$...) - loved Unity as well. If you think that some Assassin creed game doesn't deserve exploring - try Crackdown 3 and see how really shitty open world game looks like
So glad I got the Assassin's Creed Odessey Gold Edition for $30 just to play this game.
Um, Odyssey is an amazing game, Origins and Odyssey finally brought the series back on track, which hasn't happened since AC3. If you bought Odyssey just to replay AC3 you are sorely missing out.
Same! Haven't booted it up yet though. But at that price could not resist
are the streets more crowded like in Unity? the game felt a bit empty in ps3, but still is my favorite AC game till today, amazing story and combat
Yeah Ubisoft said it's more crowded in this version
Assassin's Creed Remake, next?
I'm just playing this now on the Switch. I am really enjoying it. Great game.
Kudos to ubisoft though... The glitch has been enhanced to HD
You missed the most important question: are there any game breaking glithes like in the original one ??
This is my favorite assassin creed game
It comes free together with Liberation Remastered in an Odyssey package so don't spend money buying it directly.
Now you can be bored with even higher quality
There are still game breaking glitches in the game and for them to call it a remaster is a complete joke, all they did was amp up the graphics and that's it.
Most definitely the game has broken up pictures and when i tried to go the other way it ended up getting worse because i couldn't get him out and so I had to restart the ps4 pro and not only that it looks like even if u hit the guards 10x or more they still won't die and they wind up getting stuck with u when ur trying to escape from them
The original 8.5
The remastered 7.8
Call of duty 10/10
Me 😑
the original came out in 2012, standards have risen since then.
This didn't need a remaster.
I Will Definitely revisit AC3 it was one of my favorites
.. but the game itself is incredibly boring. Ubisoft should have remastered Black Flag instead, that game is pure excellence.
How many games are they gonna give a 7.8/10 ? lol
7800
To whoever pays for it. Lol.
AC 3 was the first game I played on PC and have relished every moment of it! Although now I have played tons of other games but never understood what was generally wrong with the game or with the main character who seemed quite capable enough ; some slow missions and a less active frontier gameplay were a little off. But still , this was hell of a game.
