Harrods IS the Best department store in the UK, I first went there to see Santa when I was Eight. now at 58 I still adore it, getting lost in the shoe dept is a joy, the sales are Dame good as well. I used to pop in every week and the sales assistants were fab for info on new stock-look books exc, now its set as separate shops it looses some of its appeal.Quality isn't Cheap but I can Spot the ripoffs, NO one should pay £600 for a Tee-shirt even with LV in small letters on it. Common sense Lads. I would advise to arrive at 10, do food first, then the rest......Explaining a Scotch egg .lol. Marvellous
Great vlog. Good to see that Harrods have maintained the diverse selection of menswear. I generally only visit during the sales now, when you can definitely pick some nice pieces with a fairly reduced price. Harvey Nicks is also very good but a much smaller selection of menswear. Selfridges definitely rival Harrods for menswear but still don’t beat them.
Back in the days when i lived in London i used to go for a browse in Harrods. Only managed to get fragrances during their sales. The store is magical, miss it. You should do more videos like this in Selfridges, Reiss, famous British stores❤❤❤❤
Great video and those Loewe’s jackets are worth it It would be nice if you could hold the camera to the brand name for a second and maybe say the name so we know which brand you’re looking it. It was hard to tell at times and I saw some pieces I wanted to look up. Thanks again for the great video
On a work trip to the UK, to London, in the fall of 2021, spent a few hours in Harrods. I was searching for Santoni brown suede Carlo loafers. I found them there. I can’t recall what I paid for them in 2021, but today online they are $990 U.S. #expensive I knew they were pricey, but I also knew they were quality hand made Italian loafers that I would wear. I enjoyed every minute of the buying experience. The salesman was very kind and engaging. He offered to show me other brands so that I could compare fit and look. After my purchase, I went over to the food court, and had a fantastic hamburger, fries with a beer. My waiter was so friendly. We ended up taking a selfie and gave each other Bro Hugs. On a second trip two months later, I went back to Harrods and bought my daughter, and wife, scarves from a vendor there. I don’t recall the brand, but it’s well known. Beautiful scarves. It was Christmas time and took time to visit their holiday shopping area; and the area where they sell Harrods souvenirs and what not. I came back home to the U.S. with lots of fun things for my wife and daughter
I recommend Harrod for a slash if you are bursting otherwise ridiculous grotesque prices which may appeal to the weak needing an ID enhancing label without the commensurate quality. Blog is welcome though.
I’m moving closer to London soon and am looking to visit stores like Drakes, Natalino, Anglo Italian. How do you find the experience in these stores? Do the staff leave you alone and let you try things on?
Good vlog. Love watching your vids. Me n the mrs go in harrods and try n guess how much things are. We’re both into fashion and dressing well but I find a lot of the clothing is either really horrible or I love it but the price is just a figure plucked out the air. Who actually pays £390 for a plain white t shirt. Blows my mind. It’s quite literally greed.
@@LukeHodges Nice one! I've been looking into Ring jackets because they look the business. Sadly never seem to come up in my size though (46 UK/56 EU). I assume thats because it's a Japanese brand?
Great vlog mate! Bit more feedback on the items you're looking at plse... (checkout Hannah Ricketts format) Appreciated the bonus scotch egg review 🫡 Looking forward to the next one!!!
Harrods was once home of the legendary pet kingdom where you could buy exotic animals like alligators, lions, tigers, panthers and elephants. Lanvin is pronounced Lawn-vaaaa. "Holy F****!!" is how we all reacted when we saw the price of that cashmere teddy jacket for over 5 grand. 😂
Can't say I'm very interested to wear most of these pieces. Too fashion forward to my taste. I'd rather get something timeless from small artisan brands, like Aero Leathers for my jackets and maybe Crown Northampton for sneakers.
love the channel and enjoyed the video but yeah I have to side with prada employee. Not a fan of influencers ruining the ambiance on a location for a post. Not saying thats what you were doing but I think they have to have set rules for everyone.

More vlogs, Luke! This was such a fun way to explore clothing and life and get to know you more, cheers from the US
Thank you, more to come!
You need to do more of these
Will do!
Great video, Luke . I always enjoy watching your videos ❤
Thank you mate 🙏🏻
The timing on your reacting to the price of the cashmere after guessing $1000 was too funny
🤣 My mind was blown
Enjoyed this, definitely great to see more of it 🤝
Thank you mate! Much appreciated 🙏🏻

Great video, and would enjoy the content as a series, covering a range of brands/retailers. Nice job!

Very cool to see you round my neck of the woods
This channel is such a gem! Expected you to look longer at the Drake's section since they seem to be your go-to 😂
Haha thanks! I'll save that for the Drake's store video!
Really like this new style of show, hopefully the first of nant.
Cheers David! Will definitely be doing more

Thanks! I realy enjoyed putting it together, will definitely be doing more
I like some of Reiss stuff, but those prices while everything being Made in China is a huge joke.
Excellent video Luke, really enjoyed that, you are looking sharp. Cor, I could murder a scotch egg after watching this!
Cheers Barry! glad you enjoyed it

Hey any advice on where to get good corduroy shirts?

Where did you get the Ascot Chang shirt from Luke?
I got it on eBay, luckily the guy who had it made was nearly my exact size
Great virtual shopping trip but shocking prices even for Harrods in London.

Thanks! which blazer?

The prices are insane as are the people who will buy these things

Scam prices

Fashion is greed at this point, none of these items were remotely worth the price tag
It’s crazy even the change from 10 years ago, completely out of control
