looks like a great recipe but it's important to keep anything with essential oils (and there's a ton here!) in GLASS only! Essential oils can react with metal and break down plastics. I think I'll give this a try as soon as I can find some camphor essential oil. Tfs.
Hi. Thanks for the video. I never realized that the vaporubs had turpentine in the them. The more I learn about the products we put in and on our bodies unknowingly in really scary. Thanks so much!
I have used almond oil for various things, but not in the vapor rub. But the shelf life question is a good one. Here's a link to check out. Hope it helps! m.gardenofwisdom.com/carrieroils.html
DIYcutzie101...Yes, it is quick but you use PETROLEUM whereas she uses grapeseed oil because it absorbs into the skin versus sitting on top of skin as petroleum jelly does.

Love this tutorial - and love the patience you have to make it!
Thanks!
Thank you making some tonight to use on my clients tomorrow. I’ll put it on their back followed with some warms towels. NICE
Excellent results.
Thank you
Thank you ! This is very helpful as i was looking for a recipe that did not use turpentine. Much appreciated !
So glad I found this video. I'm making this tomorrow!
Is this safe for toddlers? I wasn't sure if certain essential oils weren't suitable for younger ones?
Oooh! Excited

Yes, some products have more than we bargained for in them. Thanks, for watching!
Healing is my new addiction
Thank you sis😘🙏🏽🙌🏽
if I don't have grape seed oil can I use coconut oil or almond oil ?
You sure can!
Hi watvhing from pilipines
Awesome video, thanks
How long does it last what's the expiration date on it? And also too how long does it sit in the container without evaporating all the oil
It should stay good for a year, at least. The oils won't evaporate if you keep the lid on and store it in a cool area.
Thank you!!
Do I have to use all the essential oils or can I use only 2? Because I don't have all...
You can use 2, but it may not work as well.
What can I use to substitute the beeswax with???
Soy wax! Some would use petroleum jelly (like Vaseline) as a base. However, you'd have to adapt the recipe.
Have you ever tried almond oil? I know it absorbs well. Wondering which oil has best shelf life?

Is it okay to substitute coconut oil instead of grape seed oil?
Did you ever get an answer on this?
@@oohyllab Creator said yes on another comment.
Love this...thank you
Glad to help :)
How long it last?
Hey,
I have a different recipe. Would you like to check it out?
I just did. Your recipe is quick and easy. Nice!
Thanks

If it doesn't contain camphor, eucalyptus, and menthol then it isn't Vicks
How much menthol do you suggest to add to the recipe on this video?
Why arent peoples questions being answered?
Sometimes I don't see them or don't get notifications for them.
Thank u!!!
