I have family in cornwall, but they live in middle of nowhere in a small village. Also I've stayed in enough Hostels to know that most of em are better than hotels
Oh this was back in May! I've only now gotten around to editing the 5th trail of the walk lol. Turns out I'm quicker at walking the length of the UK than I am at editing 😂😂
Well done on uplaoding (at last!) great video !! I'm always followed by 🐮they are very curious and play follow the leader🐄🐄🐄 Yuk to the jam sarnie🤢 But it looks like a path I would like to walk so thanks for the advert!! View you soon I hope 🤩😍😘
Becca me old girl, been waiting for you to come back, I love walking, I’m always inspired by people who also walk, and like me, take an interest in the history of the walk as well as the beauty, and a fellow animal non eater! 😀pleased to meet you again (virtually) 🙂👍🏽🥾🥾♥️⛺️
Lovely part of the country, that little harbour was amazing, would quite happily live there, i was born by the sea, i know exactly what you mean, every time i'm at the coast i just chill
Interesting to see, I'm a bit hazy with the trails around there, I'll have to look it up on a map to work out how you're working your way down. St Abbs is lovely, I remember. It's good to have a lot of material stored up. I'm just happy to see your vids whenever you share them Becca 👍
Ive done this walk but from Berwick upon Tweed towards Dunbar. Was amazing 3 days! Will definately do it again at some point. Anyway, nice to see people enjoying Scotland!
I know that time has passed since you walked this way but, having followed your journey previously on Instagram, it's still a joy to revisit your experiences in video. Thanks for putting it together and for sharing, Beca. 😊
I'm fairly new to your channel, never commented (apologies), but "Pushes a turtle head, walking through a field of cows" 🤣🤣🤣 Brilliant 👏 👏 Absolutely howled with laughter, just had to say. But I understand, I once had to walk 'a long way round' a field to retrieve my tent in some woods because a bull was a bit aggressive towards the cows (headbutting them out of his way) and I thought hmm, if he sees/starts on me... 😳 😵 Looking forward to the rest of your journey. Take care All the best Dave & Buddy* 👍 (*the doggo)
Beca:"...appreciate the little things when you've been on trail for a little while though, so like a good warm nights sleep, a wind free shelter, gas to cook your food on, enough food to stop you feeling hungry.....water that doesn't taste like SHITE!" love it.
Just FYI for anyone following this for tips St Abbs head nature reserve (just before st abbs) is also a no camp zone. We've camped the beaches south of St abbs a few times, and it is a great spot, from when our boy was about 4.
Great to see you putting up a few more videos of this incredible achievement. You can definitely hear your delight at hitting the coast. Can’t wait for instalment two. Cracking video buddy
oooh so happy to have found you as I have a few days to use (with my backpacking kit) first part of september between Edinburgh and Norwich so thought I'd backpack this route then hop on train at Berwick Upon Tweed! So what was the hostel that made your jam sarnie?!! Snooping your videos for camping spots/accommodations!
What a wonderful and beautiful video! Welcome back - I was really eager to see how your long way home continues. Awesome footage, perfect story telling - you made my Friday evening 🤗👍❤
Awww thanks so much mate, that means a lot! I'm pretty new to the TH-cam game so editing takes a long time and comments like this make it worth it ❤️❤️
Hiya lovely, I ended up deleting the section that explained it to create more space when I was on trail, but basically my ears are quite sensitive to temperature and so wind/cold are a huge trigger... ON windy days or winter I usually wear a headband to cover them or sometimes stuff with cotton wool, and it works a treat ❤️❤️
NIMBYs can do one. They can put up all the signs they want there is no way you'd have to pay a fine for camping. Whether you'd want to camp so close to all those huts is a different matter, I wouldn't.
I made the same mistake on a family roadtrip to Lindisfarne as an 11 year old when we drove past the relevant signpost, with my dad rolling his eyes before correcting me.. @@muddy_bootlaces

Your walk passed by my back garden at a distance 600 metres & u didn't hit me up , don't fret I'm recovering slowly but surely.
No way?!??

Great to watch , the village of Cockburnspath is pronounced Co’burnspath but your way is better ! 😂
