What I love is how Anne walks around with her celebrity shades acting all "in cognito" and yet, the rest of her outfit just screeeaaamms ANNE RICE!! LOL I mean who couldn't recognize that brooch, the purple velvet outfit, that bob!! lol I would see her from a mile away and shout "ANNE RICE I LOVE YOU!!" lol To be honest, I would fall to my knees in tears if I ever saw her walking around in the streets. lol My idol.
❤️ It was a pleasure to learn from your stories and your knowledge, your beautiful soul rest in peace now but we'll always keep your legacy in our hearts and our memories will forever be with you, Queen of the Damned ❤️
I can't believe any of these people don't recognize her, since she is one of the most famous living former residents of the city. I would love to go back, it looks about the same....
I love the Quarter! I haven't been back for about ten years. Almost moved there off St. Charles. Need to go back. Nothing like walking a block and getting the multitude of cultures in just that one block alone. I wish I was there with you.
I get so homesick for New Orleans sometimes, but have to stay in Palm Springs for the time being. So in a sense, our life paths are similar -- and it's great to be able to vicariously experience yours!
I am right there with you! Mrs,Rice would probably call security on me as I had a complete stanning fit in front of her. I am about to publish as well and she is one of my favorite writers/inspirations.
I hope that one day when I'm roaming these streets I randomly find her crossing my path, I would love to speak with her! I would talk forever though xD
Fuiste y serás siempre mi escritora favorita! Te amó! 😍 Anne rice

I met her twice in New Orleans, at a party in 1996 and a book signing in 1997. She's the sweetest lady who really appreciates her fans.

She looks the same and the dancers don't even seem to know who she is or that she gave them a tip! I'd be snagging it and hiding it... Jk...
