    Hey would it be possible to have review of this bow at 60 pounds and the draw at 26.5-27. I would really appreciate seeing your results.

    As for the slider, they told me on Instagram that a cable roller is much more complicated and needed only on powerful bow with heavy arrow.
    They told me that their target bows all have a cable slider and there was no difference in performance/precision between the two.

    If you hit the back wall really hard and punch the trigger you get an extra 10 fps😁

    I hunt with a 355gr arrow at 60lbs and a 100gr Rocket Steal Head.. have not had any problem with them for hunting....when I was shooting 45lbs I used a 300gr arrow with a 85gr Montec with no problems....
    I wish this bow would max out at 29" draw lol I would buy one in a heartbeat

    My girlfriend can handle a Torrex easily. I don't really see an advantage of this bow against the Torrex. Plus, the Eclipse is costlier.
    Could you do a comparison between the two please ?

    Wish they’d just do it full on flagship and just market it as high end bow optimized for shorter draws. Bought my last Hoyt at the end of ‘17 with the RX-1 and really the last Hoyt I enjoyed was back in the ZT Spyder era. Ditching the #1 cam took Hoyt out of consideration for me

      The more I've played with it, the more I've realized it is just as high end as the Axious

    I was wondering if I draw 60 lbs even, am I better off getting a 50-60 lb bow and maxxing it out or buying a 60-70 lb bow and keeping it at minimum? Which will have better performance, if it's any different at all? I've always wondered this but never got a clear answer.. Looking to replace my BEAR Authority from 2016.. Still a tack driver though when maxxed out to 60 lbs and long draw length...

    • @Skelstoolbox
      @Skelstoolbox 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Eichelkompressionsspinne Really? Thanks... So I'm better off always buying 50-60 lbs bows and working them up to maximum then... My shoulder will probably thank you for that advice too.. My current setup is my first compound and it took 4 years to get up to 60 lbs.. It was oddly a big day for me last month when I turned those limb bolts where they wouldn't tighten anymore.. Worked up from 50 When I bought it 2016 and it's been a great bow for me but I'd like something a little higher end next.. Thansk again..

      I would recommend continuing with the bow you're comfortable with. My brother in law had a Bowtech Alligence that he could drive tacks with. He sold it and got a higher end bow (I think a mathews of some sort) and he could never achieve the same level of accuracy and has used at least 2 different bows since then. Always talks about how he regrets getting rid of it when he did.
      If you're dead set on spending the money on a high end bow, make sure you do your homework and shoot a few different bows across a handful of different brands. Find the one that you shoot best and feels best in your hands.
      Edit: in case you're curious I shoot a Hoyt Nitrux and have not had any issues with it.

      @@mm2_Arya Thanks buddy, never even considered I'd lose out on accuracy.. That would be aweful. Yeah my entry level bow from 4 years ago, literally goes where you aim perfectly, tho that includes mistakes due to such a long stroke, so any little spasm before arrow clears rest will send it off target, which still happens maybe 1/10 shots.. I'd hate that to happen in front of a prey animal.. Would feel terrible if I didn't make a clean shot.. I know it happens but I take worse than most. I notice people who grew up on farms have no problem killing, maybe I'm too sensitive for bowhunting to be honest but I have to force myself to do it because I'm not vegetarian and have to confront the reality of where meat comes from. Real men don't need others to kill their meat for them.. WHich is what I say when I get any guff from people here on the "left coast"..

    • @mm2_Arya
      @mm2_Arya 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Skelstoolbox i love the "to sensitive for bow hunting comment" really shows you respect the animal you're hunting. I killed my first Elk this season and I broke down and cried. I laughed at myself for being a grown ass man crying alone in the woods, but the emotion built up knowing I made a kill shot and all the work I had put in just amplified everything. Whatever desicison you make I wish you the best of luck! And if you do get a new bow, hang on to the old one til you know its the right bow!

      @@mm2_Arya I got my first deer (sitka blacktail) in fall 2018 on an Island off Vancouver called Texada Island. No predators and the deer population is so high, the bag limit is 3 per person and the local airport has to shoot 3000 a year and bury them in mass graves, just to keep numbers stable . So even though I cried too, I justified it by saying at least it wasn't 1 of the 3000.. I was always the little boy who helped baby birds or wounded animals so I have a really hard time killing. I never had a relative teach me to hunt, so it was always just me. I thought I was the only one who had such a hard time with it.. Thanks.

    My wife has the exact same set up except she’s shooting 47# not 50#. She’s only getting 210 FPS with a 410gr arrow. Any ideas why you’re shooting around 30fps faster with only 3# draw weight difference?

    Something I don't understand about high-end bows. Even the carbon fiber Hoyt bows are under 2 grand. There's no bows above that in price? A high-end gaming computer is 3 grand and up. High end ARs, shotguns, pistols, are all in the thousands of dollars. Are there no top of the line bows over 2 grand?

    • @InsideOutPrecision
      @InsideOutPrecision  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No there aren't. There isn't nearly as much machining or materials involved as either of the other things you mentioned.
