JediAvenger - what the heck are you thinking overtaking cyclists on double white lines with oncoming traffic - then sending the clip in as if somehow the cyclists are to blame for your actions. This is so far beyond what is an acceptable standard of driving I'm surprised the police haven't already been around to have a word with you.

Those bikes were going less than 10mph obviously; it's legal to overtake in that case.
You can legally overtake tractors or bicycles if they are doing 10 or less on double solid. BUT you’re still required to give a full lane width of room and only overtake when you can see it’s clear to do so. Jediavenger is proper dangerous. Did not even move over for these bikers and did it with oncoming cars too!!! Whoever is promoting these videos needs to stop adding Jediavengers clips into these before it gives people bad ideas. Very dangerous driving too

@@Matmamtmamtmamtmamtm However the exemption which allows you to do this (TSRGD Reg 26) states you should only cross the line when "It is safe to do so". With the oncoming traffic having to slow down to avoid the Cammer, I don't think anyone could argue that this overtake was safe and therefore was not in compliance with that exemption.
I'm convinced JediAvenger was lobotomized at an early age and somehow managed to get a drivers license.

Seriously starting to doubt just how many of these incidents are caused by cammers flying about at stupid speeds not being able to react in time, not being able to read the roads,or read the people on the roads either, not caring about others on the roads and just caring about themselves leading to conflict.

You obviously don't know that the cameras make things look much further away than they actually are. Looking at the time stamp is a better indication of how close the cars are.
@garyboyle695 you can't pin all these clips on camera angles distorting distances. You can pin it on poor driving 🚗. By either the cammer or the person in front possibly not driving properly.

While agreeing that JediAvenger is an idiot (in this and many other clips), I would also argue that a cycle club deliberately creating a 300m long slow-moving convoy is not 'sharing the road' in a fair and equitable manner.

@@bluegblueg That's not how UK roundabout work. Who gets there first is not an issue. You're meant to give way to everything approaching from the right, even those not on the roundabout.

Stephan 12:24 - there are two lanes marked A1020 and you were in the left. You then moved to the right-hand one and decided the other person was in the wrong. You need to stay in the left-most lane as the car in front of you did.
Think it was Stephen Bagwell, you should see some of his other videos.
Yeh 12:14 shows middle lane with option of both ways - their lane splits into 2 after the lights, not the left lane of Stephen’s.
If he needs to immediately turn right after this exit, he’s in the wrong lane.

There's an astounding lack of accountability in today's society. Even as recently as the late 90s when I started driving, if someone made a mistake most of the time you would get an apology wave, now if someone else makes a mistake and you dare point it out, you're met with hyper aggressive douchebaggery.
One day, one of these people who do that sort of thing is going to meet a driver who feels threatened enough for their own safety to take evasive action and drive at them taking their door off (and possibly clipping them too in the process)
@@rossmatheson4303 friend of mine was in a situation like this once and that is exactly what I've told her to do if it happens again in future because she felt really threatened.
"They've gotten out of their car so you now have the advantage - technically you have the bigger weapon; about a ton of moving metal. Stay calm, take off their door and then go to the nearest police station."
Years ago (good old days of car keys had to be on the ignition) I saw a similar case in Brussels, the passenger from the victim's car, unexpectedly got out, run to the aggressor's car, pulled the keys out and throw as far away as she could :D

JediAvenger needs a ban, his driving is so low it's in the negative. Shocking driving.
What’s telling is the contempt for vulnerable road users: last week it was pedestrians crossing a road he was turning into, this week calling perfectly law-abiding cyclists (the ones which even he admits are riding considerately) as “Lycra-clad clowns” - that tells you all you need to know about why he is a poorly-equipped driver and keeps making these potentially dangerous moves.
He really could use a driver education course to shift that attitude / approach to others on the road, then he might actually be a good driver - as clearly he cares enough to keep sending these clips in.
Imagine being Stephen and not knowing how lanes on a roundabout work, and calling everyone else an idiot!
I go around that roundabout a lot. 0.01% of drivers appear to read the lane markings which is particularly sad as it's one of the 0.01% of roundabouts in the UK with good, highly legible markings.
I think this should just be a classic case of “expect the (un)expected. People are going to suddenly realise they’re not in the right lane and make a late / somewhat desperate move. Live and let live and be a god driver yourself rather than getting ticked off and getting your blood pressure up. Chill Winston!
EDIT: I’m not actually sure the Toyota was in the wrong, looked perfectly ok to me, in fact I think Steven may not have been in the right lane! All the more reason to not get annoyed with others eh?
@@dj_efk I initialy thought Stephen did nothing wrong but you can see he the left and middle lane both go left to the A1020. Stephen was in the left hand lane but ended up in the middle lane. Yes that middle lane did go in the same direction, but he moved from left lane to middle, so is at fault.
@@dj_efk Stephen definitely wasn't in the correct lane. I took the exact same route as him yesterday and apart from the very last lane that he barged into I was in a completely different, and correct, lane the whole way around the roundabout.

In general, far too many cammers tend to use 30mph as a target rather than a limit on narrow residential streets. But yeh, Jennifer clearly wasn't even keeping to that.

Crossed a solid white line with oncoming traffic & didnt leave enough room for cyclists, gets mad when they cycle 2 abreast which is legal.

Much as I think Jedi is a troll with most of his clips, it is ok to cross the white line to overtake if the cyclist / car / tractor etc is going 10 mph or less. Pulling out when there's traffic coming the opposite way that had to take avoiding action isn't correct though.

12:10 Stephen. You are about to criticise a Toyota for sticking to their lane, look at the road markings - you have one exit for the leftmost lane and the middle lane has a choice of two exits.

If you're talking about a comment of yours that got removed, it's likely because TH-cam seems to have ramped up their auto comments filtering. It's not just on this channel that I have noticed my comments vanishing. They likely get filtered as spam or inappropriate for the most minor things.

Kieran learning for the Indy 500 round that roundabout. Remember people, slowing at junctions for potential hazards but also to help traffic flow really does make peoples drives a lot safer and easier. Why can’t we all just be more careful and polite? ❤️
I would also like to point out they were out over the junction line before he even had sight of them just the outside lane is closed off but their junction line is back there ( probably to give them better vision) but Kieran going so fast he sees them and doesn't even ease off until he is in their side. His past clips show he only knows flat out or stationary and has zero patience so this is just more of the same.

You're allowed to overtake on solid white lines if the road user you're overtaking is traveling at 10mph or less. I'm not sure how fast the cyclists were going in the clip, and he definitely didn't give them enough room.

2:45. JediAvenger and Yoda haven’t a clue. Firstly you shouldn’t have overtaken any cyclist riding at 10mph or above. You were overtaking far too close, they don’t have to ride in single file! and of course the comment from Yoda, “They are too far out,” No they were not, they can ride anywhere in the lane which the cyclist deems to be the safest. For example, primary position in the middle of the lane to stop idiots like you overtaking.

Yes. He had amble time to hold back, but chose to carry on in order to reprimand the white Fiesta for failing to stop at the give way lines.
@@martingdavies That is the stupidest point ive seen on these videos in a while, he chose to carry on because its the cammers right of way and the fiesta should have stopped. Theres no "ample time to hold back" when its your right of way and other car is trying to force through following everybody else, not really how give way works.

Cammer clearly has right of way given priority markings. Why would the fiesta just follow like a sheep THROUGH give way markings? Sure he wouldn’t do that on any other junction?
The last one reminded me of the time a gave a work mate a lift home in my Mini, now he was 7ft tall and built like a sh-thouse. A car cut across me and then overtook just like in the vid, this 5ft rake of a youth got out ran back and was giving me large. When my mate slid out of his door and towered over the roof of the Mini. Master 5ft high tailed it back to his car and was gone. Pedestrians that witnessed laughed and clapped their hands.

Why is it people laugh when they see minor accidents happen? You're seeing several people's days being ruined - could be on top of other layers of shite and hardship they're having to endure, but no, don't help them, just laugh and think about the dashcam.

Cyclists MUST move over to the left if faster moving vehicles on quieter (less congested) roads as detailed in the highway code (66 and 72), just for starters !
@@stu.k.5875 Nowhere in either of those rules does it state you MUST move over to the left. In rule 72 is does state you should ride AT LEAST 0.5 meters from the kerb edge and further if safe to do so. Did you get your highway code from the Kellogs box along with your licence?

@@jonholding3880 some people just avoid intermittent use lanes because they don't want to get a ticket and they lack the skill to suss it out. From that far back it is perfectly obvious what is going on. So yes, it is ok to find yourself in the wrong lane, to correct that when the road is clear given suitable observations and suitable indication. If it were a live bus lane, that is the manoeuvre that would have been called for anyway.

Hello, my clip👋🏼 it’s a dual carriageway, using the left lane is undertaking and dangerous so I wouldn’t do that to a learner. Point of the clip was the instructor wasn’t telling them to keep left unless overtaking, which they clearly weren’t

Wrong. It's not first to or on the roundabout, it's give way to traffic approaching from the right. See rule 185
When reaching the roundabout you should give priority to traffic approaching from your right, unless directed otherwise by signs, road markings or traffic lights
check whether road markings allow you to enter the roundabout without giving way. If so, proceed, but still look to the right before joining

The bus should have given way to the camera car. Getting onto the roundabout first doesn't give you right of way. The bus should have waited, as should the blue taxi.

He shouldn't have passed when he did due to the oncoming cars but I just want to make people aware that you can cross a solid white line to overtake a slow moving cyclist.

It would be useful to have a speed readout as my first impression was the same, but it may look quicker than it is as the car seems to be a low-slung sports car, hence any clip would look a little faster as the car (and hence the camera) is lower to the ground?
Maybe I’m giving the driver the benefit of the doubt unnecessarily- either way it was too fast for the conditions even if he doing the legal speed limit.

I'm so embarrassed to admit I drive a BMW. I honestly don't drive like these muppets.
A lot of Beemer drivers are fine and chilled out I find. I find the worst lot are those SUV types (Sportage, Qashqai, Range Rover) who seem to bully their way through gaps and tailgate (something about being higher up gives them a power trip, maybe).
