My parents were 8 years difference. She was older. She already had a son too. Dad said it worked for them, because they always lived in the moment. The past, was the past and they embraced the current trends, and moved with the times - together. They were married 53 years, before dad passed. ❤️❤️ Older women ROCK! ;)
My best friend is 17 years older than her husband. They met when she was 40 and he was 23. They have been happily married for 25+ years. She has now retired. He has a corporate job, he continues to work and supports her...They travel, enjoy family events and are best friends....age is just a number.
Danny Latin Boy math is not your thing huh? She's now 65 and retired (meaning also has a pension) and he's 43 now. Guess who supported him during his 20s before climbing that corporate ladder..
About a month ago, I met a guy three years younger than me. We were hanging out a lot, and talking to each other. I would give him advice, and he would give me some, too, but eventually it sort of became something more. I started to like him, and eventually I found out he liked me as well. At first I was really against the idea of dating someone three years younger than me, regardless of how I felt. When I tried to completely cut ties with him, it impressed me and moved me just how hard he tried not to lose me. It was very touching, and I just had a hard time sticking to my decision. We're dating now, and things are pretty good. He makes me very happy.
I know it's not. I mean we didn't break up because it didn't work out. He had to move away, and I didn't feel comfortable with a long distance relationship, so we agreed to just stay friends in the mean time.
My husband is 20 years younger than me. We are celebrating our 2nd anniversary next month. some things worry me about the future, but we're very happy and very much in love.
Well that can be true of any relationship. You just have to go with your heart and know that your man feels the same as you do. You have to be equally yoked as well, intellectually, emotionally, sexually and most importantly, spiritually. And you have to know whether he's a man that will work at the relationship as well as you. In other words, all the stars have to align, but that's true in any relationship. So age is not really a factor unless you make it one. We just take one day at a time and enjoy the time we have together.
What worries me sometimes is what's going to happen when I'm in my 70's and he's my age now, in his 50's. Still young and vibrant. But my husband said no matter what he will never leave me. And, time will only tell. But I believe him, because I know how much he loves me. So I stopped worrying about it. I am more afraid of how he will cope if I were to die and leave him.
I'm not in relationship with a younger man but here's what I think: I'd rather have 5 great years with someone than a longer relationship filled with drama and unhappiness (been there, done that) so if it ever comes my way and it feels right I think I would go for it. As for your concern, I have an 81 y.o. aunt that looks like she's in her 50s, she has always been a beautiful woman and she takes good care of herself, she's my "role model"! I personally think most men in their 50s are far from "young and vibrant", many are already having prostate problems and ED; all you need is a bit of estrogen (very little, actually) to help you stay "young". If you take good care of yourself you can still be a good match for him then and beyond. Congratulations on your happiness!
OMG! I’m 52 dating a 30 year old. We are crazy about each other and we are at the same place in our life as I’m in a rebuilding phase. I don’t know if this is going to last forever, but a relationship with an older man might not either. Life is a book full of chapters, some short and some are long. All I know this chapter is exciting.
@@heathertaylor4979 how's it going? I have a date with someone who is 30 years younger. I'm 60. Very apprehensive...not about him, but the age difference.
My wife is 40 and I'm 29. We've been together nearly three years. Been married two and a half and we have three kids. Boy last year and twins this year. If we went out in public people couldn't tell my wife is older. She looks very young for her age because of yoga and exercise and good diet even though she has a plus size body.
Oh my goodness, Mojo, it’s you! I remember talking with you long ago about your wife! I hope you remember me, but it’s been quite sometime... possibly a year and a half ago is when I first talked to you on a video about older women dating younger guys. (I’ve had the name Mario for three years now, so I believe I talked to you while my name was still Mario.) Glad to know you and your wife are doing okay; congratulations on your son and twins, by the way! :)
@@mojok7070 Hey, I think we talked to each other 5-6 years ago about your wife being 11 years older than you and saying it’s one of the best experiences ever. Can’t remember if it was through private messages or in a TH-cam comment section from years ago. I can’t look since my PC broke and it’s easier to find them this way, but you can probably find our conversations 5+ years ago if you go through your comment history. Reply to me there and see if you can also lead me to our comments through a notification if you want!
Michael Wilson my boyfriend is 15 years younger than me but age doesn't really matter. As long as you understand and accept differences give trust and holding on no. Matter what the trials come. Above all put God center of relationship
If you are older go out with him! Who cares? Whats the worst that can happen? You will suffer? Well if you really are at an age when you already feel like an "older woman", you already know tht heartbreak is not the worst thing that can happen in life. Why so much theory?
Dating younger men is not my cup of tea but things changed when I met my partner. I was not comfortable having him as my boyfriend because of the huge age gap. But as we go along I learned that he thinks more mature than me. So I guess it's not bad dating younger men for as long as you're compatible and have the passion for each other.
Speak for yourself. I found some younger men equally mature but despite their maturity, they are romantically a turn off. To me I regard them as adopted brothers and nothing more. I prefer older men and my man who in living with now, he is older than me by five years and we’ve been together for almost eight years. I tried being open to the younger man thing but it just didn’t work for me and I’m learning that’s okay and to have no regrets or be shamed by others who disagree. I found it repugnant and a total turn off. I will say mature younger men DO make good friends and adopted brothers.
I never set out to find anyone let alone a guy 26 years younger than myself who approached me glad I gave him a chance.. he’s definitely more mature than me... I’m 52!
I'm wishing you all the best. I'm 26 and my boyfriend is 20. I rejected him when he confessed to me for the first time. I accepted him on his second confession because I can see his efforts, determination and sincerity.
For me, I like a guy who’s 14 and I’m 16 and a girl. It feels so weird but I can’t help it and idk what to do ): We look about the same age but still..
Sometimes it begins when one person looks younger than their real age and closer to a younger man than to a guy near their age and a younger man doesnt matter. I never looked for a younger man but this guy began to chase me. I ended up having a relationship with him and we are now deeply in love.
:sigh: I love younger men. They have so much...energy. And their batteries recharge so quickly. You don't have to worry you're going to give them a heart attack.
Lol! I can go on and on about why I love younger men. I love having fun, taking it easy, and working out.older guys want to watch tv, fish or play golf.too tired for sex. Gimme young guys any day of the week!
I admit I was surprised to hear this advice. My mother was 11 years older than my father. They were best friends, and age was never a problem. I'm in my 40s and a man in his 30s would be no problem - a Gen X-er like me but on the younger end. Someone millennial-aged, though - no. I've dated men my exact age and have been able to relate completely on the pop culture of our youth - music, TV, movies, events, etc. - which was amazing. But the relationships weren't great. I've dated men 10+ years older than I am, where I missed some of that kind of relating, but the relationships were so much better in the more important ways. (And I dated a man 10 years younger than I am and that went quite well - he was pretty enthusiastic about what I brought to the relationship as opposed to women his age.) It takes slightly different planning for later in life with a significant age difference, but there's only so much you can account for. My mom expected to pass away first, but she's now 88 and my dad died at 49. Not trying to be a downer! Just saying that I've learned in my life that we try to arrange things so they'll "work out," but I think to make age a deciding factor is more naive than not. Be aware - anticipate and discuss issues that are likely to come up. But ultimately, what will happen will happen so forgoing an amazing relationship with someone just because of age could cost you dearly. It is much much more difficult to find a beautiful relationship than we're led to believe by this culture of constantly sorting through a parade of potential partners.
I agree 100%. I lost my husband of 53 yrs a year ago to Dementia and I took care of him for 7 years along with his live in caregiver. After my husband died his caregiver stayed on to help me with my dying mother and my bout with Covid19. He fell in love with me and told me soon after my mom passed. We have been together now for 7 mn and he has been Gods gift to me! I am 71 and he is 39.
age is a number.....I met my husband when I turned 43 and he was 33. WE move in together 3 weeks later. That was in 1987...he passed away of a heart attack in 2003 at the age of 49.We never fought and got along great. so it can work. now I'm 70 and just learning about my sexuality. I'm beginning to blossom now into learning more about it. I'm not interested in marriage and just want to have fun,,,,,,life is to short and I plan on enjoying it to the fullest before I leave this earth. thanks for all your videos. they have helped me a lot.
I was looking at a feature on vegetables when I saw your headline. I am a 71 yr old woman, in love with and living with a man who just turned 48. I have two sons, 46 and 43. My sweetheart and I met at work--I retired in 2014 at age 67. We fell in love the minute we met--and I will admit , there was and remains a huge sexual attraction. We are intellectually matched, and both have the same sense of humor. We like to do the same things, and we are alike politically. We are sexually very compatible, and are very physically affectionate. We both had a bad marriage. We have been together since 2012. I have a small retirement, he works and provides for his two teenage daughters. So, it's not about money. Yes, sometimes people make fun of us, but we just laugh because none of them has as good a life as we do, especially between the sheets. We fantasize what life would have been like if we had been the same age. My only sorrow is that he will be left behind when I die. But I have made him promise he will find someone who loves him as much as I do. My dying wish will be that he will find her.
When a friend was in her 40's, divorced with three great adult children, she married a man in his early 20's. He told her she was, "his forever woman." A few years later he told her he had changed his mind; wanted to marry a younger woman and have his own children. This is an extreme, but I think a good example.
When women throw this at me.I tell em it no different for her husband leaving her for a girl in her 20s or 30s. If a younger pretty girl throws herself at older guy its hard to resist. It doesnt matter the age. Its what the person has to offer and how they make the other person feel.
Nothing like a younger man. I truly enjoy the moments I share when I have the opportunity to date one. It is not about the number of years you are with someone, rather it is about the time you enrich yourself with a wonderful person. :)
I’m 40, he’s 27. We started off as friends in the gym. He’s a personal trainer, so he’s practically around young girls with big glutes, hamstrings and tiny waistline all the time. The initial fears of been left were there, as I was married for 10 years to a guy ( same age as me) and he left me for someone younger. It’s been 2 years in this relationship. It’s going really well surprisingly. He’s very mature, my daughters are comfortable with him as well. In between divorcing and meeting him, I dated many guys of all ages, the ones which were older or same age. They were set in their ways and appalling and treated me really badly as well. The current guy is the beat by far. Lovable and supportive. I’m from a Asian background so these kind of relationships are frowned upon in our culture.especially the region he is from. Hence we don’t talk about marriage. Also though he did admit that he wants to marry me someday. We did split up for while, but then he didn’t give up saying he doesn’t want to live with out me, besides attracted to each sexually we have top conversations and we can’t stop laughing at each jokes. We make fun of each other. When we were apart, he said he missed out little banter and he couldn’t focus on workouts and he can’t go in competitions without me. Fingers crossed for the future. Right now I’m feeling blessed.
Yeah but in Asian culture, it's not even about age difference. They are not allowed to marry who they want regardless, only who their parents allow them to marry. So there is no freedom to choose a marriage partner, only who parents shove down the throat. Even if there was no age difference, his family will find a bride for him because as a grown man he must listen to his parents, spit on his own desires and submit to marrying a person parents tell him to marry.
My sister has been with a man 19 years younger for 11 years now. Everyone in her family (except me) was wildly against the relationship. As I got to know this man, I discovered that he was raised by a narcissistic mother who was cold. I felt that my sweet natured sister was just the motherly type of person that he needed. My sis is slender and looks younger than her years. Their relationship works great and who am I to say “no way”. He is good to her and that’s all I care about.
MY HUSBAND WAS 10 YRS YOUNGER THEN I AND HE PASSED AWAY OVER 11 YRS AGO AT THE AGE OF 49. WE WERE MARRIED FOR FOR 17 YRS. I JUST STARTED DATING LESS THE A YEAR AGO. IT SEEMS LIKE ALL I ATTRACT IS YOUNGER MEN OR THE ONES THAT ARE TOO OLD. I DON'T WANT TO GET MARRIED AGAIN SO HAVING A LOVER IS PERFECT FOR ME. I DO WORRY ABOUT GETTING EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED BUT THAT THE CHANCE I HAVE TO TAKE. SO FAR....SO GOOD.
***** Very sweet of you to take up for Della. The words a writer chooses, gives away their intentions. Bigheart270 obviously wanted "to hurt". Yet, the very thing you objected to, someone speaking unkind to another, you did, also. Projection is a mysterious thing, isn't it..
In my family 3 gens back, the successful marriages have had an older woman with a younger man. I am not saying it ALWAYS works, but u have to look at people individually... And, even though I am a terrible speller, I was an English Major! Read Sonnets from the Portuguese? Elizabeth Barrett Browning had 6 years on Robert Browning (her:40; him:34). William Shakespeare was 19 when he married his long in the tooth Anne Hathaway in her late 20's. Yes, these are old examples, but do we really wanna be LESS sophisticated in 2014? Now I just went out with a guy 7 years younger than I am and he is IMMATURE (for the concern mongers, I am in my 30's). I didn't move forward with him because he was like a child emotionally. Still, I have friends who married guys 6-7 years younger and it worked...gotta look at individuals while considering different factors
After reading many of the comments below, I see that a lot of people are afraid of getting hurt. Well, you can get hurt dating someone your own age, too. The only thing that would preclude dating someone much older or younger would be the desire to have children. If that's important, it's probably better to date in your age range. So, go after what makes you happy.
If you date a younger man, it's better if he has already had experience dating older women. You don't want to be his experimental guinea pig experience. It is better for him to have experienced dating women of many ages, and has already concluded that his *preference* is for older women. The experimenting guy is still figuring out what his preferences are, and the relationship would be more unstable.
This just sounds like some formula you should follow to ensure success with a younger man when there are NO guarantees no matter what you do. Younger ppl experiment with each other too even if they are the same age.
I personally believe if the older person is in a place in their life where they want to be. Love for the other person will help them along the way to where they feel they need to be. Patience, integrity and l love will allow you both to embrace the journey
I would also recommend that women and men who have experienced more than 1 abusive partner should seek assistance on how to recognize the early signs of an abuser so they do not keep falling for these same types of persons. Have a great day!
my husband is 9 years younger and we have been married for 18 years. there is a man at work that i catch looking at me alot, mostly on the sly. he finds reasons to be over by where i am. i know that he is attracted to me. i am not interested of course, as i am happily married but this guy is 17 years younger than me. i know other women at work, one being 14 years older than her man and another being 12 and another being 14 years older. i am 62 years old and i look younger than my years but i can say that i am now getting concerned about showing my age and would like a mid facelift. he thinks it is silly. there are some pitfalls with an age difference but we will get through them. my husband treats me like a queen.
nerboh lyncaro My wife is 40 and I'm 29. We been together three years now got married two and a half. Our relationship has been sexual since day one. We have three kids within a year. Last year we had a son this year we had boy and girl twins. She use to be my teacher as well back in 2004. We did have a sexual relationship back then before she got married. People always said why I married her when it was just sexual between us. I guess my sex addiction went too far with her and getting her pregnant changed our relationship.
Great little vid. I recently started dating a man 20 years younger than me. I was hesitant at first but actually, we are having an absolute ball! Yes, I do make references to stuff that happened before he was born. I'm getting better but he still looks at me and reminds me that when we met he thought that I was younger than him. Ironically, when I was his age my boyfriend was 18 years older than me. I lost him to cancer before we were able to marry and this guy reminds me of that man in some ways. Enter Twilight Zone music...
I disagree completely. Age is only a number. I have been dating guys 10 - 15 years younger than me for a long time. Not sleeping with them, dating, spending time enjoying each others company.
+Catherine King That's correct. I don't have sex outside of marriage. I'm upfront about it, they know from the start. This keeps the ones who are really interested in me, around. The ones who just want to get laid don't stick around for more than 2 dates.
+Kerry Woods If sleeping around makes sense to you, go for it! Everyone has to do what works for them. As long as I'm upfront & honest, living my own life on my terms, it's my life, my body, my standards, my decision.
+Brenda B Agree with you completely. Every time I say I don't do sex before marriage I get a lecture on how F'd up religion is and how its to control women yada yada, even though my decision is personal and not religious. I don't see how allowing a stranger I've only met once to use my body as a semen disposal device is empowering and enjoying life. And the next step would be to chase a man for 5 years to come to get him to marry me Lol, that's empowering?
Hi Matthew, I (50) met my younger boyfriend (33), when I was with my 25 year old son and granddaughter (5) at the waterside. He was ther with his kids. I thought my son and him knew eachother, because they talked so easily. He actually thought me and my son were a couple. I told him he was my son. The chemistry was there almost straight away and my age didn't seem to shock him. Now we got feelings for eachother and ofcourse we are thinking how it will turn out in the future....Although I don't look or act my age at all, but yeah it's a fact I am a lot older and that might be an issue later on in life. We are realistic about it and there are no guarantees is life, but there also isn't if he was my age. Now, he told his older brother about it an sister in law and they kind of like totally disgusted by the thought alone... He has been through a rough time and can do with some quality time (so can I) and we kind of not try to fall in love or something, but it's already too late really... His kids are about the same age as my granddaughter and they get along just fine..same as my son, who totally accept it. I know I have to keep in mind I might loose him eventually, to a younger woman, but that's no reason for me or him to sabotage a beautiful thing from the start, because it might not work out. I am young at heart and look like I am in my late thirties or early fourties and he is very mature for his age. We got a lot in common and have many mutual interests, so not just sex. It's just a pitty that some narrowminded people just can't accept it, even though we are very happy together. I wonder when he is going to tell his mum and dad and I wonder how they are going to react. At least my age difference with his parents is about 14 years and they also really look a lot older...so yeah...I wonder how that is going to turn out... I never chased younger man, but dated them before. I also had a relationship with a man 10 years younger and it lasted 10 years. Eventually that didn't work out because he wanted kids and I did not want them any more. That isn't an issue now, so hopefully we enjoy eachother for many years to come and if it doesn't work out I think we will remain good friends, because we are honest and open and we care about eachother a lot. We try to enjoy the moment and not look too much into the future....
Tarantina Hi, Tarantina. I wanted to share with you, an epiphany I had recently, that relates to your life right now. It's my new opinion(grin), that when a relationship ends, no matter how long it lasted, it was a success. Saying the words: "We broke up", after a relationship ends, automatically lead us all to feel like we lost something. Your letter over and over talks about an end result you want to prevent -but, you can't. Whether your relationship ends next week or lasts forever, is not the point. Life isn't short, it's very long, so inevitably, doesn't it make sense that any man you date along the way, when the relationship ends, and, the majority do at some point(if we were to get honest), to not see it as a bad thing? Nor, try and prevent it? You can't anyway. How about having fun ONLY, instead of spending your time being an "Over-Analyzing Ageist". Oh, yes. I think you and his family share this "age" issue. Please know, I say that purely with kindness. Be strict with yourself and change your mind right now, to no longer add negativity, by dwelling or adding to convo's of: age gossip, rejection fears, the fam won't accept you, etc... All your thoughts(to the best of your ability) will be spent on building value, not, catastrophizing. In the end, all of the men you'll have dated in your life, will have been a success -because they happened. Try not to focus on an end result. Spend the time you are together -happy. And, when it ends, smile and know it was exactly perfect.
+Tarantina I want to compliment you on your willingness to "go there" with this person, and not deprive yourselves of what sounds like a loving relationship based on respect, common interest, and timing. Unlike the commenter above, I must say the opposite. Life is SHORT! Not long. And this person who thinks otherwise, is obviously young in mentallity, life experience and that sense of wisdom and judgement. To call you and "over-analyzing ageist" was so far off I had to laugh at their perception. But back to you. You are obviously self aware, open minded and rightly causous. You have a good relationship with this man and good communication. If you were seeing a man who was "age appropriate", the relationship could end sooner than later for any number of reasons. I applaud your willingness to have joy and love in your life now, as opposed to waiting for something that may never come later. Life is short, and who knows what tomorrow brings. I'm glad at least your family is comfortable with your relationship. As far as his side, oh well. He's a big boy(a grown man). It's about you and him mainly, and your blended family.
i hope you guys are still together. beautiful story....yes the morons, the judgers...and the jealous ones....the stereotypes and so on. give us an update on how your doing. xxx
Just got the attention of a 27-year-old man and I'm 51 (youthful looking - in late 30's). I want to let myself have this experience since I haven't been in a relationship in a long time. I just have to watch the feelings. Nothing too serious too soon. Just enjoy the experience.
just my two cents : I'm nearly thirty (in a few months and met a 21 yr old online. I knew he was younger but shocked when he told me was 21 but we just seem to click so well and Its crazy but I find us getting along and easy banter and comfort trumps the age gap. I like his energy and pure simplicity it matches my own tho he is emotionally mature about situations which is good. I act younger for my age and look younger so so far seems to work well :) he lives in another country tho sooo will see I never expected this! youngest person I've ever dated n one of the few I actually like . age can be just a number it depends on the individual in question
Let's be real. Beauty is very important for guys. If he is 20 and you are 30 and still "hot", it is not a problem. The problems start when you are 50 and he is 40 and could date 30yo women (assuming he is attractive/successful enough to have this option).
Personally I like older women. Although I'd limit to at least five years older. They're close enough to your age that they still remember what's going on and understand how things are going and they're old enough to help and teach you how to get through those problems. Besides that, usually some of the older ones are more mature so there won't be as much drama. Then again, that's my opinion and my preference.. That's all I really have to say.
For me I’m 16 and he’s 14. If we were older it wouldn’t feel weird at all with the age gap but now I feel like everyone would think it’s weird, especially bcs I’m a girl and older ): but I can’t help it...
Matthew, I'm an American woman and I have a hard time getting past your good looks and accent to really pay attention to what your saying LOL! You do give good advice. Thank you.
I find it ironic that at age 24 I'm constantly being generalised by women based on age, and deemed "too young". Specifically women around my own age (25 to 30) in the 18 - 30 category. I'm mentally on the level of someone in their 30s, yet never given the time of day because of "age". I mean, for heaven's sake: if a girl dated a guy and they were both 25 at the time, and things didn't work out because they had different views on life, I do NOT deserve to be generalised because the previous dude's fuck up. Sometimes I feel like I'm paying for all the mistakes men have made in their dating lives with previous partners. Also, I'm getting tired of continously running into women who JUST got out of a relationship and don't even know why they are on dating sites or even DATING in the first place, whereas I am looking for something serious, and have been for several years now...
+Teraskas Paying for other men's mistakes is a whole other topic! And it goes for both sexes, not just woman to men. I think that is more about learning about yourself(the person who is making the next person pay for the last persons mistakes) and learning red flags. It's part of life and I would like to see what Matthew would say about it. I find it hard to be as trusting as I once was, before having a man destroy the trust in our relationship. But hope I would be able to evaluate a new man on his own merits and values.
you didn't address the important question (Is It A Bad Idea To Date A Younger Man?) enough. it's worth a video of its own, you haven't said anything almost about this ....
I disagree. that was the point of this video. you can say "its individual" about anything in life. you can also divide to several cases. but if you ask a question - you should be able to answer it.
***** well, I disagree. and of course you can say about everything in life its individual- that's life. and please don't leave such long messages, I don't have that much time, thank you.
***** Why dont you get a life? you write BULLSHIT that is not worth anyone's time, no wonder it took you 2 minutes to write- any brain dead who leaves his crap online is sure he is nothing shorter than Einstein. If you had any brains you would spend more time THINKING and less on your speeches. The fact I dont agree with a word of your b.s, doesn't mean I can't "think for my own". WERE YOU BORN WITH NO BASIC LOGIC?? geez...
***** no, thinking leads to conclusions. endless blabbering of things that dont even make sense make you a bored attention seeking person. you think that I need YOUR help? lol help yourself, you really need help, stating you are saying ridiculous things isn't an "insult". you need to get a life, grow up, and get over thinking you can impose your "thoughts" on someone else. adios.
As we get older I think that age doesn't matter nearly as much. eg, 40 dating 30, sure, but 27 dating 17, could be tricky. Personally I really don't care at all about ages but whatever.
Hi Matthew I used to be in an abusive relationship, both mental and physical. 5 years ago when I broke free, I never felt more free, but since I was in that relationship for 6 years, it took a long time to recover, and build myself again. It takes time, but definitely worth it. Women should ask themselves, "would heartbreak be worth my freedom?" yes! definitely! you will build yourselves again and probably find someone better than him. there is someone way better than him, that is worth your time and heart. someone who doesn't beat you up, someone who respects you. You are stronger than this, it's his loss, not yours! Freedom is so great, doing anything at all with no fear, and no looking over your shoulder. Whoever is willing to break free from poisonous relationship, I support you completely!! ❤
I have truly learned to see the importance and value in being with a person that is in the same stage of life. If one of you have been married and already have children but doesn’t want more children or another marriage and the goal of the other is exactly this it will be a challenge. I have experienced exactly this when dating younger men. Regardless of what you feel you will not be able to give what partner want and it might be better not to move forward at all. Talking from experience.
Wow I really needed to hear this! All 3 questions were about my ex. Ugh! Definitely won't date a younger man again ✔️ Leave as soon as there's any sign of abuse ✔️ And exes are exes for a reason ✔️
I know of three couples all of which there is an age gap. One is a happily married couple where the woman is twenty years older than the man, one where the woman is eighteen years older and another where the woman is eleven years older. The reality of age gap couples is not acknowledged.
I'm 51 and he's 34 in a LDR, we talk every day and I can tell every thing to him without hesitation, it never happened to me before, we will meet in person this Christmas hopefully.
There's this older coworker of mine and i don't know if she is into me. She might be like 60 but she's aging nicely actually. Everytime she sees me, she kinda gets excited and wants a hug. I noticed she always rejects my handshakes and instead walks straight towards me for a damn hug. No joke. Lmao.. Until one time, I was minding my own business and tried to ignore her when she kept calling my name, asking me to go up to her. I tried to walk away and there she went again coming towards me and this time she ran her hand all over my ab area after wrapping me in her arms.. no lies. and I was thinking "whoa lady, calm down" Haha! Matter of fact, one time another coworker told me that woman was talking about me, saying at one point "Ooh that body.." Don't know what goes on in her mind or what are her possible intentions.
Keep making your videos!! You're gorgeous and brilliant!! You've got a great head on your shoulders and I think you're wonderful!! Ps.. I married the man of my dreams who is 15 years younger than me!! We have an amazing marriage!! So, it can work!! He loves my three girls from a previous marriage, and we have not been able to have one together yet, but we're not giving up!!
This was really interesting and much needed, thank you! I've had a crush on this guy for about 3 months now, and always took the initiative to talk to him or try to hang out and I haven't gotten much of a response back, his demeanor was inconsistent, but I kept seeing him as would he could be and not his actual efforts. Thanks for enlightening me. ;)
I really enjoyed this. It's pretty difficult for a woman to admit she is doing something wrong when trying to find someone to settle down with... but I am completely (and unconciously) guilty of projecting. I'd really love some ideas on how to stop that, because it's hard for me to see someone as they really are. I tend to overlook the bad and see them as what they could be. Big no no!
I can't like this more than once so I guess I have to express my agreement with that comment in a reply. Great video and projecting definitely is one of the most dangerous things in dating.
People like to say that age is just a number but it's more than a number. There is a lot in 10, 15 and 20 years when talking about experiences which tend to alter a persons mind therefore aging them. 5 years is not bad ten years is definitely pushing it but manageable but any more than that is just too much.
I was married to an abusive man for over 20 years, so I understand the fear of dating again. I handled this by getting counseling, seeking out a abused woman's group, & getting my life back before dating again. I waited over 4 years to even think about dating. I had to relearn life without being controlled. I didn't want to make anyone pay for the things my ex did. Plus it takes time to rewire your thinking after such a relationship otherwise I was afraid that I would fall into another abusive relationship. realize that being in a long-term relationship or any amount of time in an abusive relationship has its own psychology and I didn't want to be dependent on someone else for my well-being. I had to start over again and rebuild my life into something amazing for myself then I figured I'd add dating into the equation. although it's true that I'm still single I know that that's by choice as I will not hesitate to no longer date someone if I see red flags that I ignored in my younger day.
I met this Guy younger than I. I would have to say the chemistry was there. We had a long distance relationship. the reason I was so attracted to him was that he always complimented me on different things. my hair, my clothes. etc. he always said kind words. I was in an abusive relationship in my past. so most of my life I stayed awAy from guys. was not trusting!

You have helped me in so many ways ❤. This video hit the nail on the head for many things that have happened in my life recently/ how I have felt/dealt with. Thank you 😊
I feel stigmatised but my group of female friends due to the fact that I’m usually attracted to younger guys… in their eyes, it is more acceptable for a women to date an older man vs the other way around. I’m 26 (almost 27) and I’m attracted to a 22 year old male of whom has shown me a lot of interest in return; should I listen to my friends or to myself (and my body)?
I'm dating someone 10 years younger. If you are in the same place roughly as your partner it has a chance I think. Need to be on the same page regarding having or having had kids and where you're going or want to go in life. 28 and up in life are going to be wanting kids 38/40 and up would be done with that. Maturity wise need to meet in the middle at least..
+Eilanna Cameron There are men and women over 35 who don't have kids that still want kids, some people don't always put a cap on when they stop wanting kids.
You can put the age as high as you like my point is as long as you are at the same stage in life as a significantly older or younger person in a relationship there is more chance it will work. It is not so much the age difference but that you need to both be at the same similar stage in life or both wanting the same things from life for more chance of it lasting the distance.
I had my child at 38 so at 55 I am definitely at a different place than my peers who are seeing themselves close to retirement. I, on the other hand, am getting close to the end of my hands on parenting and I feel like it is time to really focus on a career for me. Not sure where that will lead at 55 because most people are gearing down but I don't see that in my plan. So God willing, I plan to work as long as I can in the future. Being with a younger man who would be in lets have kids mode would not work for me. One it is no longer possible to have children and the will is gone to raise children.
I really enjoy the videos not only cause of the advises you're giving people are useful and effective but also because of the ambiance you create in them, sometimes I feel like you're talking to me at my place , I kinda forget that I'm just watching a video online:)
I've been with guys over 20 years older then me and guys a lot younger then me I'll stick with a few years younger 10 max then go out with older ever again.
i have been abused before, tough time. now i have moved on and started dating. love my life now but still sometimes, those moments came back to my mind for a sec. its been nearly two years from my recovery, well, just take some time...

I have strong feelings for a man 19 years younger than me. I feel like there is a big issue with the age because I'm nearing my 40s and he's just starting his life. Theres the issue of children, etc. I'm so torn.
If you have met a younger man in years, but the attraction is fiery, the most important convo to have is about kids. Women of experience get so stereotyped, which in my opinion is just plain prejudice. We see women in their early 30s, celebrities, marrying a man some 25 - 30 years older. Now what's up with that. There should be no double standard in love and age against women. Really some sexist language on here toward women. Matt is so positive and radiates great energy, take a clue from him, losers.
Karen P.D. That's not a good idea you guys are on two different level and eventually he is going to want things you can't give him. Sometimes you get man are still finding themselves
I agree enjoy,,,Im in the same boat if he moves on down the road so what ,,,,I have had other boyfriends and things moved on for various reasons ,,,,,ppl breck up ppl stay together if there is happiness why worry
My boyfriend is a year and 8 months younger then me he'll be turning 18 in May and I just turned 19. I was a little weirded out by it at 1st but then I realized how we get along perfectly and its not to much of an age difference. We've been dating almost 3 months know it's new still so anything can happen but I plan on being with this man for a very long time!

My dream is to have a (for e.g.) 2 year relationship with a younger man as a boyfriend. Maybe 5 years. I don't CARE about marriage and kids in fact I DON'T want kids, sometimes part of the issue is that the young guys want kids ha ha. And want to have them with me and I don't want that. Nor do I just want sex. I would love SO SO much to have a young, handsome, compatible boyfriend and if it only lasts a few years SO WHAT. It's what I am attracted to and my dream is to have a man like that attracted to me but not just in the bedroom. Sigh a girl can dream. I'm at the point where I feel like this is probably impossible although some of the stories in the comments give me a glimmer of hope. I'm not at the moment usually attracted to men my age and older. And I feel like we like what we like, you know? So, if I don't give a crap about if we are going to be in the same place in a few years' time, if I ever DO get the chance, should I just GO for it?
I don't know why you think it sounds like a nightmare and I should "wake the fuck up" erm and maybe it's better if you DON'T explain BUT your reply is cracking me up laughing, I literally nearly spat out my water LOL!
Athena, I hear you. I actually feel the same way. Not all replies are from stiff, unimaginative people. Why be so limited in your choices. Life is about learning experiences and if you are not hurting anyone, go girl!!
I like a guy who is 12 years younger than me, but I really like him. It just so happens that I'm so quirky when it comes to men (and I'm older), so I feel that this is something to do. Will he be against it is the question? He knows that I'm older than he is, but he thinks that we are only 5 years apart. (Actually we don't look like we're more than 5 years apart).
Jacques Lewis He could marry a woman his age or younger and regret it as well. I say go for it because this life is so unpredictable you can't live it based on fear of what might or might not happen 10 years from now.
+Jacques Lewis Holy crap was that shallow. Plenty of men age like crap and if the man really does end up falling in love with her, he isn't going to give a crap if she starts looking older. I'm like Michelle D in that I also look years younger than I am, and unlike you, I do not believe that I will look old and bad in 10 years. I will probably still look years younger than I am.
Being at different stages of life is definitely the biggest obstacle. I'm 35, and he's 25. It really came as no surprise when he said he's not looking for a serious relationship.
Matthew, I really like how professional and careful you are when dealing with these delicate issues. You are an excellent example of what everybody should try to emulate in order to achieve better understanding with the opposite gender. I moderate a small group (about 40 people) of singles over 50 and many of them display fear of previous relationships with experiences of either abuse or sad losses. (We get together to have fun and try to understand relationships in a casual way). At this age we don't feel old enough to quit and we want to love again, but we are not young kids anymore so many of us want to be extra careful before entering a new relationship with the potential for pain. Your way of explaining how to go into a new relationship with a clean slate is very wise and I will recommend them to watch this particular video. The only problem is that, sometimes, many wounds run so deeply that people react in negative ways without noticing those reactions are rooted in the fear of past experiences. As a saying goes: the teacher will teach only when the student is eager to learn (or something like that) so we can only hope people will be able to understand they are afraid and try to heal before jumping into another abusive relationship. Your videos spark that curiosity that leads to understanding of our deep selves. Great contributions to the only power in the universe: Love. Thank you very much!
And by the way, whatever happened with going with the flow? I have read that MEN are the ones in the moment but in my experience men either want to turn it into just a romp or babies and marriage. Why can't THEY just enjoy the freaking dates for their OWN sake and see where things go. THEY are the ones who try to label it! And guys there ARE things in the middle of a roll in the hay and marriage you know...like a freaking relationship or just going out while it's fun!
Most of the girls think.. Maturity comes with age.. so they actually think older men are more mature than younger men..That's really a wrong mentality about a person... Love a person for who they are to you.... That means that person should be loyal, good, etc and should be mature in his thinking and how he acts regardless of age..I still don't get why most of the girls think.. Maturity comes with age.. If girls are thinking about a guy's job..I mean financial stability.. for example..a 20 year old guy (imagine he is younger than you) can get a financial stability if he has the brains and talents to do it.. Than a guy who is 30 years old (imagine this guy is older than you) who still hasn't got a job yet... All I can say is... Love a person for who they are to you.. how they treat you.... This message is to both men and women...
Here's the thing for me on younger women, I'm 49 and yes that's really me in my profile, I will be 50 in October. I am often perceived to be in my 30's alot of the time. The women my age all look older than me. I work out, take care of myself and generally just don't have a mature look about me. I don't even act like a 49 year old guy, so naturally I want someone with some energy and that's usually gonna involve the 20 to 30 something year old, but I want someone who also knows themselves and is mature enough.
Naomi Evans Yeah it's really funny cause about 10 years ago I was on a job talking to someone about something back in 1979 and the person asked me how old I was? cause they thought I was around late 20's, lol but yeah all of my friends and family members all are very mature looking. Only me and my oldest Nephew are under 200 lbs in our whole family, everyone else is at least 220 lbs and above , they dont take care of themselves,so the energy they have for life is also not there. Yeah Naomi I can see you don't look your age either, that's good, it's to your advantage as you grow older.
Hi Rock, Yeah people are genuinely shocked! I am shocked they are so shocked!! I am really young in my attitude as well and a really happy person but I have kept out of the sun and don't have kids, and gene's you know..but I am an honest person and would never lie about my age. When I was young I dated older guys but now! Am almost divorced, living with my parents and just about to start a nursing degree! so I may as well be 18! Life is funny sometimes
Yeah totally! Full circle! !! Crazy eh! I am going to crossfit gym so that is great! But I have only been going for 6mths..good luck to you! Hope you find the right one :)

My aunty is 13 years older than my uncle and he is madly in love with her and has been for years!
My parents were 8 years difference. She was older. She already had a son too. Dad said it worked for them, because they always lived in the moment. The past, was the past and they embraced the current trends, and moved with the times - together. They were married 53 years, before dad passed. ❤️❤️
Older women ROCK! ;)
Oh my gosh, I am gonna marry my man when he proposes to me.

No. We ended up breaking it off.
I know it's not. I mean we didn't break up because it didn't work out. He had to move away, and I didn't feel comfortable with a long distance relationship, so we agreed to just stay friends in the mean time.
Will you accept him
If he came back to you
3 years is nothing!
3 years ?? Lol you are practically the same age
My husband is 20 years younger than me. We are celebrating our 2nd anniversary next month. some things worry me about the future, but we're very happy and very much in love.
what worries you if you don't mind me asking? I'm into younger men but Im always worry that it won't lasts long
Well that can be true of any relationship.
Thank you
Just enjoy each moment. Tomorrow is not promised. If it feels right, go with the flow. All the best.

If we went out in public people couldn't tell my wife is older. She looks very young for her age because of yoga and exercise and good diet even though she has a plus size body.

Oh my goodness, Mojo, it’s you! I remember talking with you long ago about your wife! I hope you remember me, but it’s been quite sometime... possibly a year and a half ago is when I first talked to you on a video about older women dating younger guys. lol that's a good one
Absolutely Right
Dating younger men is not my cup of tea but things changed when I met my partner. I was not comfortable having him as my boyfriend because of the huge age gap. But as we go along I learned that he thinks more mature than me. So I guess it's not bad dating younger men for as long as you're compatible and have the passion for each other.
A New Love Official do you mind revealing the age gap that you were uncomfortable with?

Plz look up the age range for Millennials and Gen-X. Some of us are in our 40s. Don't confuse us with Gen Z.
Well said! Age is just a number! Love to hear all these wonderful love stories! ❤️
So well written! Thank you for your insight! (:
I agree 100%. I lost my husband of 53 yrs a year ago to Dementia and I took care of him for 7 years along with his live in caregiver. After my husband died his caregiver stayed on to help me with my dying mother and my bout with Covid19. He fell in love with me and told me soon after my mom passed. We have been together now for 7 mn and he has been Gods gift to me! I am 71 and he is 39.
Your style of writing ✍️ is very professional. You write like a pro writer
Age is just a number. When it comes to love, everything is equal.
Well.... Jail is just a room
LoveMe,com age may be a number but when it comes to love, if a younger man grossed you out, don’t be ashamed of dating an older man.
I love 🌷❤❤❤😍
I am 17 years old and would like to associate with a nice, single girl, aged between 18 to 32 I love the old girl But I haven't got that yet 😩😩😩😩
Not if the chemistry is there and no problem with age issues
Fireball c hi
I'M 70 AND DATING 2 MEN YOUNGER 62 AND 66. WE GET ALONG VERY WELL. IT'S BEEN GREAT. JUST SAYING.....
My hero!!!
age is a number.....I met my husband when I turned 43 and he was 33.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT SWINGING?
Younger guys communicate way better then my age group and are old souls ❤️
Say that again.Thought I was the only one who noticed 🤫
Yes!!
This is so beautiful ❣️
When a friend was in her 40's, divorced with three great adult children, she married a man in his early 20's. He told her she was, "his forever woman." A few years later he told her he had changed his mind; wanted to marry a younger woman and have his own children. This is an extreme, but I think a good example.
I agree, major age difference between the older women and much younger men doesn't add up and proves they fail
When women throw this at me.I tell em it no different for her husband leaving her for a girl in her 20s or 30s. If a younger pretty girl throws herself at older guy its hard to resist. It doesnt matter the age. Its what the person has to offer and how they make the other person feel.
Doris White I agree
Sounds just like Demi Moore and ... (whatever that young guy's name was)
This is what I worry about if I dated a younger man. 😕
Nothing like a younger man. I truly enjoy the moments I share when I have the opportunity to date one. It is not about the number of years you are with someone, rather it is about the time you enrich yourself with a wonderful person. :)
You're Right Woman should
Go younger Man .!
How is it going?
Yeah are u guys still together?
Yeah but in Asian culture, it's not even about age difference. They are not allowed to marry who they want regardless, only who their parents allow them to marry. So there is no freedom to choose a marriage partner, only who parents shove down the throat. Even if there was no age difference, his family will find a bride for him because as a grown man he must listen to his parents, spit on his own desires and submit to marrying a person parents tell him to marry.
hope you got married
I feel sorry for him. Anyone marrying you just wants to die sooner
***** Very sweet of you to take up for Della. The words a writer chooses, gives away their intentions. Bigheart270 obviously wanted "to hurt". Yet, the very thing you objected to, someone speaking unkind to another, you did, also. Projection is a mysterious thing, isn't it..
UPDATE....STILL GOING STRONG AND HAVING FUN.
Della Knocke honey do you know how to make your words lowercase😭?
@@Harry123191 You look so charming :) Are you single at the moment?
So, go after what makes you happy.
yes you should totally make more Q&A type videos like this!
young boys r smarter haha
If you date a younger man, it's better if he has already had experience dating older women. You don't want to be his experimental guinea pig experience. It is better for him to have experienced dating women of many ages, and has already concluded that his *preference* is for older women. The experimenting guy is still figuring out what his preferences are, and the relationship would be more unstable.
Love your comment, and I agree.
I'm 43. My bf is 28. It's magnificent.
Yes, please do more of these types of videos in the future.
Hi
Elmira you look so cute :) Are you single?
hi matt my friend married her husband after 2 weeks yes 2 weeks who is 16 yrs younger than her been married 15 yrs it can and does work.
I'm 56 and lately I'm finding myself being attracted to, and attractive to guys in their 30's.
😄 Same, I’m 48 and attracted to a guy in his early 30’s 🤦🏼♀️
Hope you find someone that brings you every happiness
my husband is 9 years younger and we have been married for 18 years. there is a man at work that i catch looking at me alot, mostly on the sly. he finds reasons to be over by where i am. i know that he is attracted to me. i am not interested of course, as i am happily married but this guy is 17 years younger than me. i know other women at work, one being 14 years older than her man and another being 12 and another being 14 years older. i am 62 years old and i look younger than my years but i can say that i am now getting concerned about showing my age and would like a mid facelift. he thinks it is silly. there are some pitfalls with an age difference but we will get through them. my husband treats me like a queen.
nerboh lyncaro My wife is 40 and I'm 29.
Susan you look very charming :) Are you single maybe?
I disagree completely. Age is only a number. I have been dating guys 10 - 15 years younger than me for a long time. Not sleeping with them, dating, spending time enjoying each others company.
You've been dating for 10-15 years and not slept with them ?? That's the problem love ....
+Joe Bloggs maybe she's happy with it.
Hi Matthew,
I (50) met my younger boyfriend (33), when I was with my 25 year old son and granddaughter (5) at the waterside.
Tarantina I hope you are well. Would you mind giving an update on this situation 3 years ago?
I'm a therapist, and I give my clients almost advice about taking the power back after abuse. Very insightful, Matt!
I'm 38. My BF is 18... Best relationship ever.
I hope u were joking.
just my two cents : I'm nearly thirty (in a few months and met a 21 yr old online. I knew he was younger but shocked when he told me was 21 but we just seem to click so well and Its crazy but I find us getting along and easy banter and comfort trumps the age gap. I like his energy and pure simplicity it matches my own tho he is emotionally mature about situations which is good. I act younger for my age and look younger so so far seems to work well :) he lives in another country tho sooo will see
I never expected this! youngest person I've ever dated n one of the few I actually like . age can be just a number it depends on the individual in question
The guy is 21 years old and I'm 26
Same age gap I'm 23 he's 18
Ha!! Im on the same boat same age, and he is also 21. Im so new at this but he seems like a good guy. Just young
For me I’m 16 and he’s 14. If we were older it wouldn’t feel weird at all with the age gap but now I feel like everyone would think it’s weird, especially bcs I’m a girl and older ): but I can’t help it...
You're such a wise young man. Thank you for these videos.
WERE YOU BORN WITH NO BASIC LOGIC?? geez...
***** no, thinking leads to conclusions. endless blabbering of things that dont even make sense make you a bored attention seeking person. you think that I need YOUR help? lol help yourself, you really need help, stating you are saying ridiculous things isn't an "insult". you need to get a life, grow up, and get over thinking you can impose your "thoughts" on someone else. adios.
***** just noticed you also liked your own comments LMAO
As we get older I think that age doesn't matter nearly as much. eg, 40 dating 30, sure, but 27 dating 17, could be tricky. Personally I really don't care at all about ages but whatever.
My partner was over 19 years younger than me ..... we knew each other over 21 years , lived together, travelled , he died aged 46!! Unbelievable!
Thanks for answering the question on how to trust again after an abusive relationship.
Woooo hooo!! Thank you so much Matt for answering my question really gave me some good insight!!! YAY! This made my day!!
i have ur issue too. thanks for writing :)
Hi Matthew
I used to be in an abusive relationship, both mental and physical.
Gra Piken just wondering if these couples are still together?
Lexus Steiner wow that is nice
My 23 yo friend started dating a 21 year old guy who looks 27 because h has a beard:
They are a cute couple
People like to say that age is just a number but it's more than a number. There is a lot in 10, 15 and 20 years when talking about experiences which tend to alter a persons mind therefore aging them. 5 years is not bad ten years is definitely pushing it but manageable but any more than that is just too much.
It depends on one's experiences, there is no one size fits all
I was married to an abusive man for over 20 years, so I understand the fear of dating again.

I am 17 years old and would like to associate with a nice, single girl, aged between 20 to 32 I love the old girl But I haven't got that yet 😩😩😩😩
We all know that not everyone act as what their age is. So I guess age gap is not a hindrance to have a good and lasting relationship.
I agree. I know some older men who act very immature and childish and younger men who are mature for their age.
@@Nekole1 yes there are many
You right
I'm dating someone 10 years younger.
Well my story I'm 40 fixing be 41 in August coming soon and the guy who's chased me for so long he's 22 to 23
Be careful. If you have your stability maybe that is what he wants. If he is the one stable then go for it!
I would treat it like a holiday romance, really good and great fun, but has an expiry date - enjoy yourself 😉
I really enjoy the videos not only cause of the advises you're giving people are useful and effective but also because of the ambiance you create in them, sometimes I feel like you're talking to me at my place , I kinda forget that I'm just watching a video online:)
Are you single maybe?
I've been with guys over 20 years older then me and guys a lot younger then me I'll stick with a few years younger 10 max then go out with older ever again.
Thank you Matt. They don't have the same reference necesarily with you and they are not necesarily in the same path with you
i have been abused before, tough time. now i have moved on and started dating. love my life now but still sometimes, those moments came back to my mind for a sec. its been nearly two years from my recovery, well, just take some time...
+Zahra Liang Thanks for the video content! Excuse me for butting in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you heard about - Mahorrla Mens Institution Method (probably on Google)? It is a great one off guide for finding the perfect man without the normal expense. Ive heard some great things about it and my work colleague at last got great results with it.
Dоn't miss ooоut oooon millions of s*xу girls nеar yoоoоu => twitter.com/ab0da84b2eabae829/status/801992405775826944 Is It AАAА Bаd Idеа ТТTo Date A Yоunger Man
EXCELLENT response on the abusive ex/trust question!
My crush is 1 year younger than me but he looks like he’s older than me 😂
1 year nothing go for it
Lmao 1 year is nothing girl.
For me I’m 16 and he’s 14.. feels so weird aah I wish we were older then it wouldn’t be weird
I have strong feelings for a man 19 years younger than me. I feel like there is a big issue with the age because I'm nearing my 40s and he's just starting his life. Theres the issue of children, etc. I'm so torn.
Just Go for it
You will never regret..!
Martha Roessner Yeah! Radiate great energy, you... losers? Spoken like a pro.
You are awesome, knowledgeable, sensitive, helpful and compassionate. Thank you soon much!
He's 29. I'm 54 but look under 40. He says he doesnt care , but doesn't realize how big the age difference actually is. I'm crazy huh?
Karen P.D. That's not a good idea you guys are on two different level and eventually he is going to want things you can't give him. Sometimes you get man are still finding themselves
Enjoy 😉
I agree enjoy,,,Im in the same boat if he moves on down the road so what ,,,,I have had other boyfriends and things moved on for various reasons ,,,,,ppl breck up ppl stay together if there is happiness why worry
In the same boat, me 51, him 27. I deserve to let myself have this experience is how I see it. I just have to put a hold on serious feelings.
Just enjoy Woman
Don't hesitate
It will be your best move
I love the last sentence...there are alot of great guys out there.
Like me
My female neighbor is 15 yrs older than her hubby!
Go for it. I would if I was single
Im dating someone 18 years younger 😒. Against my better judgement I went with it. While it is fun he's already showed me how immature he is.
Elizabeth are you still dating him?
I love the communitu discussions. There are always exceptions to rules. Anomalies and patterns.
there's this older coworker of mine and i don't know if she is into me.
LOL!!!! I can live with that h aha. Maybe a combination of sitting on the bench and having sex. I can't stop laughing at this reply!
he ONLY wants to have sex ALL day that would be boring too so lots of sex and lots of cool dates would ROCK. Still laughing!
HA! I see it as a sign of him being bad in bed! BAM!
Athena, I hear you. I actually feel the same way. Not all replies are from stiff, unimaginative people. Why be so limited in your choices. Life is about learning experiences and if you are not hurting anyone, go girl!!
I'm sure it depends on the guy but I have not felt that comfortable with much younger, yet I find younger to be more interested in me at times.
Age is just a number only if u really love the person
So grateful for you Matt. Thanks for taking the time to help us all out. You're wisdom is refreshing and greatly appreciated!
Most men LOVE older women. Go for it!
+Michelle D I hope you went for it, by the way. Did it work out? Did you tell him how old you actually are and how'd he take it?
Don't hesitate . Just go for it .
It will be best move in your life..!
Thank you Matthew. I find your advise so helpful and it doesn't just help in finding guys, it has helped improve my social life. Thanks again x
social skills improves with interaction and learning as well.
Jenny you look so charming :) Are you single?
Being at different stages of life is definitely the biggest obstacle. I'm 35, and he's 25. It really came as no surprise when he said he's not looking for a serious relationship.
if he said that, listen to his words and dont get involved unless you want something fun. all the best hon~
DayzieCat1 🏃🏾♀️run for the hills girl he is still finding himself
Matthew,
I really like how professional and careful you are when dealing with these delicate issues.
Because no guy considers dates to be the end goal. If he's taking you out it's because he's looking for more.
Thanks, that is helpful & I appreciate it.
I don't even act like a 49 year old guy, so naturally I want someone with some energy and that's usually gonna involve the 20 to 30 something year old, but I want someone who also knows themselves and is mature enough.
same! I am 43 and look younger and come across younger, so I am having the same problem! So frustrating and confusing!
Hi Rock,
Yeah people are genuinely shocked!
Naomi Evans Haha, it sounds like you've cycled back around to your teen age days now, lol.
Yeah totally! Full circle! !! Crazy eh! I am going to crossfit gym so that is great! But I have only been going for 6mths..good luck to you! Hope you find the right one :)
What you say about Exes is really gold
I'm 20 and he's 17 :')
