Been with the 1st CR for soon a month and it's definitely THE best clan in HD2. It has the best organisation, when we drop, we really drop. We make landfall on planets that dwarf the other units. We kick butts seriously.
Alas my obligation to my own battalion prevents me from joining the 1st, but I am proud to be a contributor even if it’s through a like and a subscription. Maybe the 227th can aid one day, in the meantime I give you my sincerest salute!
I have been apart of the 1st for at least a month or so and I can say with certain that this is one of the most fun/orgenized clan I've been in in general. Ive been in Starcraft 2 clans, Halo clans, hell even warhammer and all of them fell off so hard due to well, the usual things. Power hungry leadership, inactivity, along with other things. Ive fell out of helldivers 2 due to the lack of having people to play with, an active group of people. This, has changed that for the better. So far I've been having an amazing time and just like you said it is all organized. Plus not to mention after a long day of working the grueling hours of retail its nice to play helldivers with such a wonderful group of people. I am very, very happy to be apart of this. I joined up today. All I'm gonna say is, my first day was very positive. If you're looking to play lvl.10 100% clear map and samples, this is the regiment for you. I had to ring out my shirt because it was so sweaty after playing with these guys. And that's a compliment.
I plan to deploy now that MO’s in the discord have started occurring during the week. I work weekends so previously I couldn’t join, looking forward to serving in the Colonials!
Dude, I have loved your channel so much. And if they ever add actual in-game clans/platoons, I would love to join. But for now, with the launch of the DSS, I as a level 140 ish player will be going back into Cryosleep. The content drip and hyping up for months of what is essentially just a mission modifier has discouraged me. I thought it would at least be *our superweapon* but we have no control over it. I wish I could become a part of the 1st some day but my internet where I live is too slow for a game like HD2 and its intensive on my pc with my rtx 2060. At least for now I will do my part by being subscribed and telling my friends that play HD2 about your channel until I can upgrade my settup, also cool that the head of the clan got most of its traditions from halo clans lol. Until the day I join I will stand for Super Earth and the UNSC!
I played HD2 for 300+ hours on a geforce rtx 2060. The game will run it well on medium low settings. It’s still good looking. But the internet connection will definitely ruin your fun.
@RKQ8 We are doing allot better than any time before. We have really good coverage for the EU and NA, but we've got some structure for Asia/Oceania. With the promotion of more Freedom Captains, those timezones will be better accommodated for. Otherwise, you can expect good coverage on Saturdays.

The level of organization for this clan is truly baffling, and I don't recall earing any other Helldivers 2 community reaching a similar size or as much advertizing, except maybe the Ghostdivers. On the other hand, it sounds like you can't be a casual player in that environment; and if I understood correctly, being unactive for a week would go against the clan's mindset. Seeing how many players are part of the 1st colonial regiment, that's no issue for recruiting players it seems. I'd love to meet such dedicated players, but I doubt that I could bring enough to find my place within the clan :(

Ive been trying to get a Clan going, but its been rather difficult. Is it worth it? or should I just join an existing Clan? (Currently about 30 people, but hardly more than 8 playing at a time..)
I've been there and the best I can say for you, is to keep recruiting. I think it's totally worth it, I remember my first 50 person deployment like it was yesterday. Just be patient and keep consistent. Time is your ally 💪
What counts as participation cause ive used the lfg quite a lot and its been great. But ive never done a mo because they're usually during a period of time i cant get on. Ill eventually be able to do a mo but asking cause i dont want to get purged before hand

Does the 1st Colonial Regiment clan alliances? Or offer in helping other clans grow (without taking members from the 1stCR?) Because it could benifit both. A mutual alliance between both clans can come in handy. I am saying that, because, alas, as the Founder and the creator of the Anthropian Marine Corps, i am obligated to prevent myself from joining your clan. But prevention from multi-clanning is understandable. After all, nobody would want a ChaosDiver or spies in the 1st colonial regiment, right? But as the creator and founder of the Anthropian Marine Corps, i would gladly be willing to offer an alliance with the 1stCR. Now i also saw that Roleplaying is strictly prohibited.
The 1st CR has a Progressive isolationist policy in place. Our interactions with the majority of clans are purely surface level. The unfortunate truth is that I (philosophical_Bread) cannot alleviate growing pains as a clan. The clan is only as good as the clan leader. I have 8 years of experience. I cannot simply pass off that sort of knowledge overnight. You're going to have to figure this all out on your own. Some people are naturals, and maybe you're one of them. Goodluck!

You need to get your hands dirty and make friends that you believe would be valuable leaders. At the very least, is valuable enough to get you started. When starting its almost entirely manual. You need to recruit, recruits and recruit! Speak during Deployments. Find microphone equipped players and offer them membership. That's all I can suggest unfortunately. This is simply - a system that allows people to play with microphone equipped divers in a safe and manageable way. No one is earning, no one is getting anything. You act like I actually have something to covet and dangle above the Enlisted castes head like a carrot. Any "cult of personality" you witness, is a result of membership confidence in the leadership. I knew like 3 dudes when I made the 1stCR lol

At least, that was my impression. The moderator could have made a mistake, but I am just trying to play a game, so the drama isn't worth the time.

A bit extra? People aren't just gonna join "some guy" to play Helldivers. This sort of stuff is entirely necessary when establishing a group I expect to run, when I, the owner, inevitably take a step back

I’m from SEA/ AU time zone, and the U.S., EU time zone doesn’t work for me.

i left chaos divers they bashed me because i don't support trans flags, it popped up on chats and went against it cause helldivers is neutral to everything in our world, very sad story

A bit extra? People aren't just gonna join "some guy" to play Helldivers. This sort of stuff is entirely necessary when establishing a group I expect to run, when I, the owner, inevitably take a step back

Automating everything lets you sit back and pretend you're managing something. Look at the ego you're showing already. The whole point of the video was to state that you are the owner and here you are pointing it out again.

@@billrich9722@billrich9722 You do realize the automation is a result of hard work? You can't just wish a bot into existence. You require the developer, the audience, and the resources to make its creation possible and reasonable, including servers. All of those are just pre-requisites to make a bot. Much less actually making one that can fulfill the incredibly complicated nature of our group.
I'm proud of the group I have made, and I'm thankful for the people I have brought onboard. Without them, this would not be possible. What creator doesn't want the best for their creation? If you built a house, top to bottom, would you want a dishwasher? Or do you insist on washing every dish by hand?
