  • We gearing up for a drive North! We're heading to Alaska this summer. We recently bought a new vehicle to make the drive and purchased this cargo rack to go with it!

That sounds like a great adventure! I wish I could take my boys on a trip like that.

That looked pretty easy to put together. Like your new vehicle.

I’ll be leaving MN and heading to AK on 4/1. Last fall was my 60th trip on the AlCan. Not sure when you’re leaving but reach out if you want road a road report (p.s. it’s always terrible between Whitehorse and Tok).

How exciting! Justin and Finn will be heading out around late june/early July. This will be their first trip up the Al-Can. Alice has traveled it a few times. You are absolutely right!! That stretch of road can be treacherous!! Best of luck on your next trip! Keep us posted on anything that might be a "must-see" for Justin and Finn!

All I run is Toyota's. Best built and longest lasting vehicle on the road!

Couldn't agree more! We were set on Toyota long ago! We'll hopefully be upgrading the truck to a Tundra before too long! They really are unbeatable, especially considering competing manufacturers on today's market!

Thanks for the tip!!! We'll be adding that stop to our route as we begin to plan! Any other points of interest you would recommend? Especially for traveling with a 5 year old?

@@VentureNorthwithWheezyOutdoors you might check the long range weather forecast. I remember June was always a rainy month, sometimes lasting well into July. Go prepared.

      June is typically wet, yes.
