So as you guys know HYBE was blocking reactions left and right with this song so that’s why you didn’t see a reaction for it on the channel. Which i think fits them perfectly because emo rock has that harshness of the song and vocals BUT at the same filled with heartfelt and meaningful lyrics which is exactly what txt does. i genuinely think they’ve found the genre that fits them the most and this is my favourite era so far

THEORY: the very first shot with YJ getting out of the car is perhaps a really PG way of giving us the aftermath of the car going over the cliff. i think he’s the only one that made it which explains the hallucinations in ikily, and why he looks so heartbroken in that shot. i think they had all reached a “point of no return” in their lives (dark, i know) and decided, “f**k it, what do we have to lose, we’re all losers anyway,” but YJ made it out without them.

in fact, there's a whole theory for Loser and Love song. Loser takes place before Love song, Yeonjun was the only survivor of the accident, it affected him psychologically not to mention the problems he has at home with his parents. In Love Song you can see hospital bracelets, one of them is from a psychiatric hospital, the other I don't remember. Yeonjun, to get away from this frustration, he kind of sees the boys, as if they were a hallucination, besides he also sees fish swimming around the room
Those are not hospital bracelets they’re wristbands akin to what you see at a street fair or a carnival other than that I agree with your theory

I was crying so much because it seems like all moas had the same theory about the two songs and its so sad to think about the fact that only yeonjun survived but one thing I wanna also say is that in previous +U videos yeonjun has always been the one who had unforetubately passed or who was left alone or fading from the group so my theory is what if although he survived and they didn’t what if the members didn’t die they just successfully made it to magic island. That would mean in their eyes the only one who didn’t make it would be yeonjun, therefore I think you could say that in their eyes he could’ve been dead like in eternally??? I think I might just be so upset I’m grasping at straws but if we look at the way the car goes of the cliff the director or whoever’s in control made it look blissful and fun making me think they all did go to magic island so maybe not all hope is lost??!

So I’m 27 and in my teens, this kind of sound was THE moment. It sounds so nostalgic and I just know people will have issues with the chorus not being some fantastic drop but I am in looooove with that chorus. TXT coming into their own artistically is one of my favorite things to witness. I remember staying up to watch their debut, nervous and excited, wondering if they’d be able to hold their own against their brother group. They have proven that they absolutely CAN.

Don't worry Taehyun and Beomgyu had stunt doubles for the skateboard accident and falling off the bike.
Actor Beomgyu was amazing in this, and he has so many lines! OT5 but calling this as Beomgyus era.
People have translated some of the comments on the livestream scene which really add to it, and the members translated some when they did their own reaction video as well. At the start there's comments calling him hot and saying they love him and whatever. Then after the dad comes in they're commenting about it being staged for attention and bullying him, and then mocking him for crying. It's just a super realistic portrayal of how people actually behave to people online and I think it works so well.
My theory:
Prequel to 0x1. SB is on a date with a girl and he's super into it and she's distracted with her stocks like an idiot, and I think he gets yelled at for throwing the fries at her and then during YJs rap you can see SB throwing food all over the place and then they run off without paying. You don't see how they separate but it's probably a case of her not caring about him, instead caring about the laptop and her stonks.
YJ is trying to get money at the ATM and can't, then sees the bag of money and takes it. It's on CCTV too, so then he and his girl are hiding in the car form police. You don't see how they part either but even if it was YJ I don't think I'd stay with someone who made me an accessory to robbery.
TH is a skateboarder who breaks his arm, and can't skate, and the girl in his section also looks like a boarder. Maybe it ends up being a career ender or something.
HKs girl at work is getting bullied by the boss and HK stands up for her and almost attacks the boss, but instead grabs her and they run off.
BG is some sort of influencer with an abusive dad who gets caught on camera being abused and people think he staged it or don't care. He runs off on his bike and crashes and then you see him just lying there laughing maniacally.
Then at the end you see them throwing away all the money and yeeting themselves off a cliff. Like they all reached their own breaking points and choose to take drastic measures. Some people are reading it literally and saying the boys tried to unalive themselves, but I was looking at it like them trying to force a way back to the magic island where they were happy before, to get away from our world that only cares about money and success.
There's a whole lot of Thelma and Louise references in the M/V with the diner HK works at, the robbery, the cliff yeeting... and yeah it does tie in that maybe they went over the cliff and YJ is the only one to make it, and 0x1 is the aftermath where he is suffering the loss, guilt etc, and imagines they're still with him. I think the members even said it themselves in their reaction video that the M/V go together.

28:55 it was actually someone else instead of beomgyu falling off the bike for safety reasons (beomgyu said so in their reaction to LO$ER-L♡︎VER) pretty much the same situation like with Taehyun having a professional to do a flip in the FREEZE Concept Trailer
31:04 honestly me but through the whole mv cause the way they put their emotions out there in their acting and especially beomgyu's situation was so emotional and most likely most relatable to all of us
also the fact that they ended it in a way running away with your friends BUT to end it all to find that "set free" by losing your life? that's never the answer and obv WHO possibly could not cry at that part
and as everyone already said but I also think Yeonjun was the only one that survived through the fall while the other members did not and so he wakes up in "I know I love you" still all messed up (cause as you see all of them had their individual problems to run away from - it was shown at the beginning of IKILY mv that yeonjun also had family problems) and now he's missing the other members imagining running away WITH them and all of that what is happening in IKILY

Also I’ve been catching up on a lot of reactions to LOSER=LOVER and you’re one of the few that actually watched the video carefully enough to feel the emotion of the different stories. So I have a theory, but if there is anything that doesn’t seem right someone please let me know… I think this comes before “I know I love you” and that this was their lives before they drove off that cliff at the end and maybe Yeonjun… survived..? And that’s how he ended up mentally messed up in “I know I love you” and could explain why he was seeing the members up until he woke up alone at the end of that mv. Just a thought….

You're right, this is the prequel of LOVESONG. Theories are, they try to run away from reality so that's why they jumped off the cliff and Yeonjun is the only one who survived. In the lovesong he is having a depression not only because a bad household but also because of survivor guilt.

I'm a new MOA. I had casually listened to TXT's music before but never got into them, until I heard "Anti-Romantic". That was the 'I gonna know who these guys are' moment. It's still too early for me to have a bias, but it definitely between Yeonjun and Beomgyu. From the beginning those 2 just got my attention a little more then the other. But they're all amazing.

Every time I encounter this video- no matter if it's the actual MV alone or a reaction video, I get teary eyed at Beomgyu's part. The lyrics, the vocals, and Beomgyu falling, crying, and breaking down makes ME break down. Gyu, sending you all the hugs every time I watch this vid TT^TT
Also, I am one of those who believes that the car going off the cliff is a real part of the plot (not a metaphor or a simile, as in its a CAR going OFF a CLIFF), and Yeonjun ends up as the sole survivor with sever PTSD, which shows up in his hallucinations in IKILY.

you see how they all look at each other like they are confirming they wanna do this together. they agree to drive off the cliff together at the end of the mv to like d!3 together. in ikily yj is by himself at the end and hes just hallucinating and thinks he sees his friends that have passed away because hes the only one who survived driving of the cliff at the end of ikily he waked up from his dream and realizes he is alone. then in blue hour we see them like flying and stuff and its all fun and things so yj joined them in “heaven” and they are all together again. idk i just thought of this i hope it makes kinda sense

Idk how I missed this reaction, but this is my theme song. When it came out, I was going through such a relatable situation that when I heard this it made me cry. Yeonjun is my ult ult and I adore him and his performance in this was truly ethereal.

Some theories I’ve heard is that when they drive of the cliff, yeonjun is the only survivor and in I know I love you, yeonjun hallucinates about the others. There are theories about how there are different universes and this could’ve been an alt outcome to the how story or it might’ve been the main.

i don't have much to say to be frank , only a small thing i wanted to add as a mentally ill person watching the mv with you. i can't remember the exact moment but at some point , you noticed the boys wearing those sleeves with the drawings on them and said something along the lines of 'ooh those look cool with the fake tattoos!' and while i don't know if they were there for the sole purpose of fashion , i honestly think that it was a bit deeper than that.
see , each of the members were wearing them on only one arm which very heavily reminded me of myself. we're all aware that the storyline hints very much that the boys are suffering which could've made them turn to self-harm. also , i've seen some theories about how MOA are involved in the mv ( with the pov shots ) and how we're helping Tae become a LO♡ER instead of a LO$ER , then we run away with Kai , hide with Jun and cause rage with Soobs ( we don't know about what's going on with Gyu lol ). and what's important about this is the amount of cloth that covers each of their arms ; that could be how much or for how long they have been in agony. Tae has a very short one cause he only needs help accepting his flaws while Soob's is down to his elbow which could indicate that he likes to cause trouble to cope with his own trouble.
i'm not entirely sure about these theories but that's all i've got to keep my sanity.
another thing ! as we know this took place before lovesong , maybe the attempt with the car was successful but only for 4 members ? maybe Yeonjun survived and that's why in lovesong he's actually just imagining the guys ?

i heard a theory that taehyun is the narrator and the other boys are different personifications of his emotions/personality that he’s imagining as friends. all of them except for yeonjun are childish in a sense and represent his naivety of being a young boy. whereas yeonjun is the more mature one representing an older taehyun and his teenage angst. them dying represents his childhood ending and nothing but adulthood (yeonjun) being left.
