best txt album for me, hands-down. personally i don't rlly like ice cream but every time it pops in my playlist, i still find myself singing it and damn.....
It gave me the same vibes as roller coaster (not that they sound alike but maybe the structure or something, I can’t place it but it reminds me of roller coaster) which had to grow on me but now I absolutely love roller coaster.. ice cream after magic was perfect tho.
so abt what if i had been that puma, it was kinda like the next song from their past song PUMA or in korean it was PUMA that escaped from the zoo. it's a story abt a real puma escaping from the zoo in Korea that was shot dead, only experiencing freedom for a couple of hrs. so this song is like what if they rlly were that puma, would they choose to go out of the zoo and face the possible chance of being shot dead or should they stay and never get freedom. they dont want to choose bec what they choose would become the reality for them. altho this is the intrpretation of many moas, this song is still open for more interpretations, as is for every other txt song.

"They represent the youth so well" YES I've been a MOA since debut and honestly through their albums and videos they have literally talked about stuff that happened to me during that time, it helps that they are my age too. They represent this younger generation so well, I love them 💖
Anti-romantic is a masterpiece in my opinion. Their voices, the lyrics, the base, everything it's just so spot on. It's a tragic song but also conforting in a way? I love everything about it I just cry when it starts to play in my playlist, It hits you with a wall of heartbreak and comfort at the same time
The effect on their voices in What If I Had Been That Puma is a stylistic choice, not because the producers or singers weren't confident in their voices. Sometimes producers want it to sound more robotic or unnatural because thats the style or feeling they are going for.
As a casual listener since their debut and probably listened to their entire discography, i will say, this album is their Best yet. I know they will make more amazing album. And to think that they also participated in most of this songs is an actual growth by them as an artist. I am excited for their future projects. I will always root for them.
since i know a lot about txt's storyline, I think the track what if i had been that puma is a track about them being a player in the game thats colliding with reality (in their storyline) so they did mention something about their EXP being zero so ig its why this track has a lot of autotune (?) bcs theyre players ig or bcs they think this track will sound good with more autotune? but what i like about it most is the melody and yeonjun's rap

I love balance game the most....its so addicting and does not have normal song structure. So many different melody and addition of new instrument, its engaging and fun

Do you have a bias in TXT (or BTS) yet? (If you've already said I must have missed it, I'm sorry) I am OT5 but Yeonjun and Soobin are my biases and Beomgyu is my Wrecker (sometimes Taehyun and Heuning Kai) Frost, Anti-Romantic, and I Know I Love You are hands down my favorites on this album. It's so hard to pick an ultimate favorite now, for the longest PUMA was my favorite until this album came out.

about "what if i had been that puma", txt said its a continuation of their prev song puma, which was about the tragic story of the puma that escaped the zoo when the cage door was open and was shot dead by the police, and that led to many protests and txt then had this song puma that relates to that incident
The first time I listened to balance game I was also thrown off by the auto tune, but the song is so catchy that it’s grown on me. I like the chill rap vides :) I’m not a fan of the call and response parts in Ice cream and Magic. It’s grown on me in magic but something still rubs me wrong in Ice Cream. Maybe it’ll change, hopefully. But you’re so right about those parts being amazing in concert!! If only 😭😭
