    Your videos are awesome. They are easy to understand and straight to the point. You show it as if we are beginners(which I am anyway) and you don't take anything for granted. Thank you for your time and care.

    Great video.... I use the same principals for wooden keychains. Works great as I had 12 - 2 sided key chains for a customer.

    I have to say, I still love my pen jig, but I'm going to copy this technique for sure! *Great video as usual Paw Paw!*

    I’ve been at this hobby for a couple years with the xTool D1 original 10w (nonpro) and have never used the ‘Output’ tick mark. I’m assuming it’s for turning on and off, the different lines around what you’re trying to burn. I have been using the ‘Cut Selected Graphic’ function by simply selecting with a box or clicking on it. Sometimes I have to ‘Group’ the items, like letters in a word, but I’ve not used the ‘Output’ tick button.

      There are many ways to do the same function. No one way is right or wrong. Thanks for watching

    Choice between the D1 or S9, which is more versatile? If you were buying which would you prefer? Thanks for your video's you've been a big help with my XCarve CNC.

    Do you have set the origin to get it to start in the manually set laser position? On the X Tool

    • @PawPawsWorkShop
      @PawPawsWorkShop  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In the software I set is as current position. The just move the laser to the correct position. With the jig, you only have to set it once

    When using LightBurn my red crosshairs do not turn on. I have enabled the fire button and when I press fire it does show the actual laser. Even when pressing the select when framing it will not show my red crosshair?

    Do you have to wear safety glasses on the extreme low power (.5) setting ?

    • @PawPawsWorkShop
      @PawPawsWorkShop  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you should always wear the glasses when the laser is on regardless of the power settings

    Sorry, but I still can't find your video that shows how to compensate for tapered tumblers, glasses or mugs.

    Having trouble with my X-Tool D1 10 watt laser dropping down, touching and dragging along the substrate even though I have tightened the thumbscrew. Any suggestions as to why this keeps happening and what I might do to fix it? Thank you.

    • @PawPawsWorkShop
      @PawPawsWorkShop  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It would appear that the locking screw is not engaging. Check to ensure that the laser is in the proper position to slide easily. It you go to high it will not work

    good stuff. So... X-Tool or the Sculpin, based on your experiences?

      Tough question, I have gone back and forth but I think I have to go with the D1

    Cuál es mejor de las 2?
    Para un pequeño negocio.

    • @PawPawsWorkShop
      @PawPawsWorkShop  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is very close. The Sculpen S9 is easier to setup initially. If you are planning on engraving glasses and tumblers then the xTool D1 is the best with the new RA2Pro.
