I agree that there is bias in this field! I also noticed that the work environment in social service agencies is similar to middle school with the cliques, gossip, ostricizing, and favoritism.

There is a lot of bias in the field. I was shocked by the level of bias. I guess I was just naive to the fact that even in social work there are problems.

As a healthcare provider, social services and the work of a social worker is one of the most important and demanding jobs on the planet. I see the demands daily. Wishin' you the best!

I love how you were so unbothered after she tried to Karen you into submission with the "consequences" line. 😂 I am dealing with the same abuse at my job. Abuse of power and job suppression. Can't wait for the day when I leave for graduate school. Your story gives me hope. Great job!

Lol. She was not happy at the fact that I was so unbothered. I think that's one of the best things about having your own business and making your own money.

I enjoy your channel. How do you become a social worker if you have a bachelors?

You would need to get an MSW and then you can work towards your license. Best of luck

Thank you for the compliment. What is your bachelor's in? I can totally make a video about the process. Let me know if you would like to see that video.

The U.S. only considers you as a social worker if you have either a BSW, MSW, or Licensed as a social worker.

@@101Lovinglife In the U.S. a BSW considers you as a social worker with many good paying jobs but an MSW or Licensed, opens you up to a bit more high paying career and leadership job opportunities.

Iam afraid of beeing social worker because people I will cope with is hard and they are unpolite I become angry very quickly do you advice me to be ?

I'll be honest. I get frustrated very quickly. There are parts of social work that work well for me and many parts that do not. I am not good with working face-to-face with clients. Not because they anger me. Because I understand why they feel how they feel or do what they do. However, it is just not good for my own mental health. You could become a social worker and do work in many other areas. But again, it may not be the best fit for you. It is a very tough job. A very thankless job. But there are those times when you see how you've helped someone.
