glad this bad boy from Lonesome Road came into Boston. I thought it was a really cool weapon.
Once Preston gives you the flare gun you can buy the ammo from merchants. And if you progress the Minuteman storyline to take back the Castle and then complete Old Guns with Ronnie Shaw you will get some flares in your workbenches each day
It's not a huge amount from memory. Makes it hard to justify carrying it around, not having a massive ammo pool.
@@Captainoob True, but I think it's 10 flares in every settlements red workbench. 27 settlements in the base game means 270 flares if you visit each one. Also forgot that flares are added to the loot pools for containers so Scrounger can net you a fair amount as well.
Realistically... This is a power armor weapon through & through.
also the crazy weapon mods allow for this to fire 12.7mm x 108.
i hope the next fallout only allow these massive gatling guns to be mounted on vehicles or power armor and make them powerful.
Mmmmm, nah. Rather would just have a really high strength requirement like 8 or 9 to limit the capabilities of this big machine of death if you happen to be below the strength check.

Mounted for a weaker character, power armor, high strength and cybernetics that increase strenght are good ways of doing it.
I would also like it if we get EVEN MORE wonderful weapons to enjoy. ammo types either as something to craft or a new ammo weapon mod.
give us good early game weapons, plus middle and late game weapons as well.
War machine power armor sounds badass.
By the way, one of the most useful features in a good Ui mod, is that it shows the weapon's DPS, which is quite useful, especially when you want to gage how powerful a high fire rate weapon really is at a glance, that allows one to decide if they want the per shot damage or the DPS damage for certain situations.

I thought Ui mods are possible for Xbox, well too bad, this really improves the whole Ui usefulness overall.
He could at least show it on PC for the sake of the showcase info though.
I wish fallout 4 Armor and damage system was complex enough to for that kind of gameplay. But its a fair point.

The Red Glare is in one of the mods iirc, i just don't know if it's in Rat Runners(haven't gotten to try it), there is a non RR one though

As good as this mod looks there’s one thing that makes me not want to use it. How you hold the gun. It just looks goofy. Other than that it’s still very nice to see one of my favorite heavy weapons get some recognition.
Probably a casualty of using missile launcher anims.
Sorta should come back to the mod it has 2 new uniques or someone can say where i should look for the uniques i don't have

I just altered the F.O.V in the console commands. I think I've set mine at 90, any more and it distorts everything

Since ye talking pistol round i will say this
Fallout uses the concept of Malleable Ammo Meaning one round in-game can Represent multple rounds IRL depending on gun For Example:
12.7mm in New Vegas can represent
.50 Action Express for the Pistol and SMG
.50 Beowulf for the Survivalist's rifle

I don’t think it’s true because the casing ejected in the new Vegas variant are similar if not the same as the 10mm pistol. You could argue it’s like that for lore reasons due to dwindling resources, I suppose
@@Captainoob Idk about New vegas but in Fallout 4 Casing is tied to the ammo Record and cant be changed based of gun (there is a F4SE mod but not base game) also i didnt mean to come off as condescending
