Excellent tip Alex! As always I will practice this. Your driver tips as I mentioned have got me hitting better, not quite straight yet, but getting there.
Excellent video Alex on the correct position of left wrist, forearm and driver club face during the swing! This is exactly the position I strive for in my swing. Well Done Alex!!
Been having trouble with my aim on my short irons. Applied this, squaring the wrist technique on the par 3 practice course today. Great improvement landing greens all the way through the bag. Thanks.
I’m so wanting to try this- but how can I check that I’m doing it right- I can perhaps add a pointer to the driver edge to check the face angle but self appraisal is a hard task - any ideas Alex- filming myself isn’t easy I find
Hello Alex, an interesting video. Before the video started you show a still picture of two different face positions. One is "START SEEING THIS" and the other is "STOP SEEING THIS". I would imagine that most golfers slice due to setting up in the "STOP SEEING THIS" position where the club face is set square to the target line and the clubhead bottom face is resting flat on the ground. It's all very well saying to get the lead wrist flat at the halfway up and top positions, but this requires golfers to imagine the position of their lead wrist by feel as their swing progresses. This is hard to do even if the wrist is set flat by taking it away as you suggest because at the top, where you can't see it, the momentum of the club will tend to alter the flat wrist - usually to open it. I would think that a bowed left wrist, which several top pros use, is easier to set and consistently keep in that position throughout - which is maybe why they use it. I guess to cure a slice and swing without thinking of using a flat wrist you really only need to take a stronger grip and then you could swing as you normally would without trying to maintain a flat left wrist?
Alex, great advice. I was just wondering as i'm quite new to golf , if you have ever done a longer video which contains all a player could follow on tips / shots / techniques on breaking 100 for the newer / struggling golfers. almost like a tee to green tutorial as i cant find one anywhere on your channel ( or am i missing it.).
You make it look so easy, if it were we would all be doing it, driver will continue to be the most difficult club to strike solid and cleanly every time period
Great tips Alex. My wrists used to cup but have improved with the Credit Card scenario. Would you say that is good advice for either the irons or specifically the longer irons? Great hybrid video also...I can't wait to try chipping around the green with it. Jon
i cant stop slicing always have and i think it is because i am so RH dominant but play LH so my top hand is my stronger and the bottom weaker one slows down my swing release and stops me getting club face back to position also i have now because i am trying to force things straight have now started to swing way over the top its a nightmare which then can cause a massive pull
Is it the cam angle, or are those drives going left? I do this sometimes on the range and i'm thinking i'm pushing it, so I aim right to hit "straight". Have I been hitting it correctly all this time??
These driver tips are great if you are lead hand dominant. I tried all of the tips and still sliced the ball. As soon as I stopped the right hand / trail hand extension in the takeaway, with a weak trail hand grip the slices went away. If the right hand extends, it will lock into this extended position and not release in time, causing horrible open faces. Strong right hand under grip, was a massive cause of slicing too.
Hi Phil, thanks for the feedback and good to hear your thoughts, i hear a lot of goflers struggling with similar issues. Releasing a video tonight which should help you even more. Stay tuned!
I laughed when you said keep the logo to the sky. When we teach kids how to bat in baseball. We teach logo to the sky. So when they move from metal bats to wooden bats it is easier to understand. What we say is "show God the logo". I'll remember this one easily
It's click bait. Every day a game changing idea. If you listened to every one of these videos you'd have so much clutter in your head you'd not be able to swing a club.
I'm having trouble bringing my casual round game into my stroke play rounds in my 30+ team round, especially with driver. Can you do a video on a fairway finder, a go-to shot with driver?
*compare this to what your already doing..it’s distinctly different*
Will do cheers 👍
Great video
Excellent tip Alex! As always I will practice this. Your driver tips as I mentioned have got me hitting better, not quite straight yet, but getting there.
Great video Alex makes so much sense when checking swing check points
You have helped me so much with my driver. Thank you for all the tips and drills you have shared with us.

Glad it was helpful!

Thanks Alex for the informative lesson videos, they have greatly helped my game. I need a Vice shagbag for short game practice.
Like yout analogies, like the frisbee. Is this swing for all clubs?
Thanks! and yes you can give this a go
Great lesson Alex

hi alex what sort of ball speed are you getting on those drives
Every video has useful tips! Thx Alex!
My pleasure!

Great tips as always 👍. Curious though to know what Driver you use?
HELLO i use the cobra AIROJET!
my drive has done so much better this season. I've actually gotten some past 300 yards, AND in the fairway.
Excellent
This really works but as a high handicapper what degree should I set my driver at?
Great tips Alex. My wrists used to cup but have improved with the Credit Card scenario. Would you say that is good advice for either the irons or specifically the longer irons? Great hybrid video also...I can't wait to try chipping around the green with it. Jon
i will address thus for you

Haha, no they aren't going on left, you may be doing a draw / fade no?
Great video

I’m having trouble shifting my weight to my front foot. Any help there? 100 to 130 player.
Moving the ball back a couple club heads for driver address has made me a machine!
thought I'd let you know you have an overlap in videos probably from editing at 3:10 to 3:11
Thanks!! sorry

Last week you said right V to arm pit. ????
Exactly 🙌🏼 shoulder / armpit
Yet another video where the thumbnail has absolutely nothing to do with the video content. What's up with that?
It's click bait. Every day a game changing idea. If you listened to every one of these videos you'd have so much clutter in your head you'd not be able to swing a club.
@@mchammer1982 You're right. I'm unsubbing to this channel.
One Video every day . where is income from ? only from click
Not sure how this is the case?
That's harsh, I work tirelessly to produce content.
20 yds, even in these damp conditions and No run? I wish 🙏 ha, but will give it a go, cheers Alex
At least I'm in the majority. You said, "most get this wrong" 😮🤪🤣🍻
I'm having trouble bringing my casual round game into my stroke play rounds in my 30+ team round, especially with driver.

Your thumb nail had nothing to do with the video
Nothing about setup what am I watching
So you don’t toe in your driver at address? Your thumbnail is misleading.
Sorry if thought it was
