I’m going to say the set -up is the one that keeps you dry and safe. It’s going to be different for most but end goals are the same. Looks like a great time to me! Well done. Thank you
I really enjoy these bushcraft videos but it seems a lot of them are centered on gadgets and techniques that are not realistic in a survival situation. I think this video addresses how to cope when the elements are trying to kill you
Best ? No. The best shelter for rain is one you can put up quickly. A tarp with a quick deploy Ridgeline and a few stakes is what you want. Cool shelter setup nonetheless
New subscriber, what region are you filming from? I use to walk around town in New London, Ohio, US during thunderstorms. Loved it.👍✌🖖🥃(Good Job,Peace,Live Long, and have a Drink(responsively)
i do not see the point of getting oneself and gear soaked without reason. Surely set the tarp up 1st and work under it? theres plenty of trees there. also looks like he was chopping the axe over what looked like a rock. although he seems comfortable enough🍞🧀🍺
Based on your video, you presume that a tarp is the best shelter. Sorry, you're wrong. A tent is and here's why: A tarp is principly open to the penetration of wind, cold wind, rain, snow and critters both grounded and flying. A tent on the other hand provides complete protection from the elements and critters if preferred and can be opened to allow penetration by weather or critters. For tarp usage one needs additional R value sleeping gear with it's attendent weight and volume to be carried. A significant number of tents can be set-up as quickly as a tarp. My DIY 4.05 ounce Dyneema floorless tent, 4 ft W x 8.5 ft L x 3.5 ft H can be set-up quicker than a tarp as it has a loop at its' peak for hanging it by eight or more methods or a pole with cordage You failed to address a tent as comparison to your tarp, a big mistake.
@wildcampp Right now, I'm in a giant pot and the locals are throwing in vegetables and are about to light a fire under it. I think I'll be ok though. I'm pretty good at talking myself out of situations like this. How do you say "I come in peace" in North Sentinalese?" Man this water is getting hot!
캠핑 영상 중 최고예요 ! 아무 말도 하지 않아서 특히 좋아요.
Thanks bro .
Even though it's raining and looks miserable, I find your videos are extremely peaceful
Thanks bro❤️
Such a delightful experience having wind, cold, rain and an occasional bug visit vs a secure, warm and peaceful tent environment.
Thanks for sharing your comment😍
really enjoyed
Camping in this rainy weather is very difficult and requires a lot of patience👍🏻👏🏻👌🏻

Awesome video!
Thanks so much!
that was perfect We really enjoy your videos😊💙
Awesome! Thank you!
Beautiful. The only thing I'd be wary of is the rocks around the fire exploding. They had moss on them, not a good sign.
Thank you for paying attention to the details and warning me. I'll be more careful next time. Thanks, my friend.

Hello❤
thanks a lot!!!
can’t help but notice there’s not much water running off the edges of the tarp despite the sound (effect) of steady rain.
I use the microphone to record the natural sounds of nature, my friend. Your comment is also respected😍
My Question is also
which one friend?! title?
what country is this?
ASIA (IRI)

Hi my friend, i’m ok!!! & you?!
Full of struggle, good luck.
Thank you for your attention friend!
I would try to find a flat place. How do you sleep on a slant like that.
find the challenges of this work very rewarding.
There may not be good rock free places that are flat. Also, rain is better draining away from you ! If you are tired, you'll sleep anywhere!
yes bro
I'm worried about getting lost in the woods😂
I wonder why he waited until he had set up the tent before he put on his poncho/rain coat.
Thanks bro for writing your opinion, I will pay attention to it next time

A tent wouldn’t have been nearly as entertaining.
Enjoying from North Sentinal Island.
