I've got a bit of a like for camping when it's absolutely hammering rain and I'm tucked up safe in my tent it's the most relaxing feeling ever. That looks like alot of work but very cool and rewarding

its way to flat on top for ferns stopping the rain, that thing must leak like a sive how is that a good shelter without a tarp on top? i would not want to be in that in the rain. you did way to much work for what you got . do you enjoy living sleeping sitting under a leaky roof ? i bet 50 bucks you went home after you built that took a hot shower and slept under a good roof.
Some of these guys make me wonder! Why would you try to build a shelter on a slant? Yes it’s going to leak like Washington DC!,,

I do not believe the 'roof' is actually rain-proof in a heavy downpour unless the guy spread a tarp on top. I'd hate rain drops tip tap on me when am sleeping...but on the whole the shelter is very nice.. and seems the shelter is on a high ground and far from a water source for washing and cooking...
