I'm impressed! I been thinking of turning my bow at that angle... I heard it gives a sharp sound. But I worry that the rosin will wear off quicker on one side and cause a horrible sound when the rest of the bow touches.

i wouldn't be too worried if i were you, if you use this technique sparingly (which will hopefully also give much it more importance and power when you do use it). the only thing i would watch out for is accidentally running the wood of the bow against the string of the bow, which not only sounds bad and damages you instrument, but it's also not very an obvious thing to notice and fix.
