This is awesome!! Thank you Euge!!! But, small question... At 28:28 you mention that the bugera output goes into the Stein interface, does the Suhr unit do the same?
It’s all nice your rig and good housing conditions that can afford heavy stack amps and instruments. The Americans invented rock’n’roll. The British invented rock. Now the Fins are evolving the metal. I just got myself a LesPaul after 40 year absence. Ordered EMG sets. Then how lucky I am to find you!
Great video Euge, I play guitar in the band Exxplorer from the U.S. Trying to do something different,I hope to incorperate some of what you have taught me here into a solo project,Thanks again.
Stereo Chorus is definitely the "secret sauce" for a massive tone. I have a Rivera S120 that has a built in stereo chorus and it's killer for that huge wide tone. Never really bonded with the preamp though so I usually ran a Mesa Studio Preamp into the power section. Have to pull that setup out of storage one day.

None. The whole idea is to have two heads: one dry and one ”chorusdised” 😎. Live I mean. In the studio it’s onviously a different game like I showed in the video.
wow such a greate videos you have mate! good job! may I have a question? I am alway trying to figure out why Zakk´s pinch harmonics are so "clean" and "chousy". its not like pinchs from somewhere else. this is a secret for me. you did a really good job and your pinchs sounds the same as his
Euge, just curious, when you quadruple tracked the guitars, did you use the same guitar tone on all four tracks or did you use different heads. Or did you EQ them different later? Thanks again for all your videos, thank you for your time. Extremely helpful.
Love all the zakk tone content. I've been chasing the symphonic sound for awhile and have a Yamaha magicstomp on the way which has the symphonic patch. Where would it best be placed in the signal chain to be most accurate to the album tones when playing through a marshall dsl20hr head? Out front after an sd1 like he used the chorus Ensemble, or in the fx loop?
Thanks! I’d put it in the loop since it was added in the post (mixing) as an insert to the guitar tracks on the albums 👌. Like I did on this video 😎. But they obviously used the hardware and not a plugin.

👌🤟🙏
Another Great Video Euge .. Excellent Chops and Tones displayed.. You have me re thinking I need a Lespaul loaded with Active Emgs ... etc
Thanks man! 👌😎
Great video Euge, I play guitar in the band Exxplorer from the U.S. Trying to do something different,I hope to incorperate some of what you have taught me here into a solo project,Thanks again.
Oh thanks man! Really glad to hear that you found this helpful & usable. 🙏
@@EugeValovirta230V Euge, if you do not mind,What string guage?,and Tuning are you using in this Video, ? Thanks man!
I think I had the guitar in standard D / Drop-C and the strings I usually use in this tuning are DR Tite Fit 10-56 set.
right on brother you rock and still sound like Dracula how cool is that metal!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks! I guess 😁
@@EugeValovirta230V love your channel thank you for the lessons i play guitar and need allot of help
you are one of the best guitar players i ever heard my friend amazing!
Glad to hear & thanks! ☺️🙏
Hey Euge, great sounds on Marshall Amps again. Appreciate this explanatiom very much, hold on brother.
Thanks Klaus! 🙏
fantastic video
Thanks!
Indeed 👌.
Really enjoying these videos! Thank you!
Thanks man! Glad to hear!
Hey! Great video. I have been trying to hit those zakk Wylde pinch harmonics and can’t get them the same way you and Zakk do, are you doing anything specific to do it?
Thanks! Yeah it’s a certain techque. Maybe this one helps: th-cam.com/video/6KU-PuOoDK0/w-d-xo.html
@@EugeValovirta230V awesome thanks Euge! I was messing around a little more and am getting them more consistently now lol been playing for a while but didn’t have the interest in those Wylde style harmonics until recently !
Another excellent vidéo
Your tone is amazing
Thanks Euge
Glad to hear and thanks!
My 50 watt and an SD1 and I am off and running. If I need more gain the Boogie MkIV.
🤟
One question, you said Buguera’s output is not accurate enough, what load would you recommend me to get? Thanx in advance
A little help, Hello ultimately then to create the sound of Zakk, that kind of vibrato effect, distorted, that makes the strings screech when you pull them what kind of effects do I have to put together? Thank you. Good job and good day.
Mr Andrew (Italy)
Thank you. Great video
You’re welcome! Thanks!
Excellent video once again! I learned a lot! 🔥
Thanks man! Glad to hear!
Awesome!!!!! Hey whats the name of the second song you play at the intro? Cant find it
Thanks! Oh those were all my own songs I wrote in the style of Zakk (didn’t want to use his original songs to avoid copyright claims )😎. Can’t remember what’s the second song but one of them is on my first solo album ’Easy Does It’ called ’Triggered Boulevard’ : distrokid.com/hyperfollow/eugevalovirta/d6Pj
@@EugeValovirta230V thanks! Ill check all your music, you are a master ive learn so much thank you for uploading all this knoledge gems of videos
Oh cool man! Thanks! 🙏☺️
If I want do quad tracks , should I use different amps for each track and pan them to different positions ?
Whatever sounds good to you and work in the mix 👌.
Since you mentioned it, what pedals do that with one head? What if you ran Output A through effects loop and B through amp input?
None. The whole idea is to have two heads: one dry and one ”chorusdised” 😎. Live I mean. In the studio it’s onviously a different game like I showed in the video.
@Euge Valovirta thanks for the reply. Also, still rockin the EMGs? Any experience with comparisons to Fishman Fluence Moderns?
wow such a greate videos you have mate! good job! may I have a question? I am alway trying to figure out why Zakk´s pinch harmonics are so "clean" and "chousy". its not like pinchs from somewhere else. this is a secret for me. you did a really good job and your pinchs sounds the same as his
Thanks! I don’t know but I guess pickin really heavily and using big bends & heavy vibrato; punish the guitar and don’t give any mercy to it 💪😎.
At 28:25 You say the signal from the JCM800 goes into the Bugera and from the Bugera it goes here, whats here?
thanks
Audio interface 😎👌.
@@EugeValovirta230V no, the audio interface is after the here (in the rack) lol, so what is it?
There’s nothing else in the rack on this video. Just the audio interface.
@@EugeValovirta230V in another video you said it was ehg
Switcher or something
Euge, just curious, when you quadruple tracked the guitars, did you use the same guitar tone on all four tracks or did you use different heads. Or did you EQ them different later? Thanks again for all your videos, thank you for your time. Extremely helpful.
I hardly do that but whatever works the best for the song & tone I’m looking for.
Thanks! Glad to hear!
tasty tasty tasty. so damn good. love your playing man. .
Thanks Jesse!
@@EugeValovirta230V thanks!
Moro Euge, any tips on getting a similar sound on a less gainy Marshall like the Origin? What OD do you reckon the SD-1 should be stacked with?
IMO SD-1 is enough. It’s all in the hands; the harder you play the harder it sounds. Like with a good ol’ Plexi: th-cam.com/video/zrHcDVMxfuo/w-d-xo.html
This is soo cool.thank you for showing how.
Glad to hear! Thanks!
I wish more artist did this!
Glad to hear! Thanks!
Thanks for making this video, You're awesome.
Thanks Gino!
Thanks for the vids and your playing you totally slay it!!
Thanks Sebastian! ☺️🙏
Hey man. Those plugins sound awesome. What pack did you buy? I am scrolling their website and I am lost on so many options. I only want the boss and the symphonic effects
Thanks man! The link is in the description but it was the BHS MetlX pack 👌. And you need to have one of the basic versions so that you could buy the MetlX extension pack.
@@EugeValovirta230V All right thank you brother!. It seems like the BHS MELX is an expansion pack, and I have to buy also another TH-U version to load it right?
👌👍
