- Toyota Yaris Cross V First Drive! [Car Review]
The 2024 Toyota Yaris Cross V is the top-spec gasoline trim of the local 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross. In this Filipino car review, we take the 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross V out for a quick drive to see how well it performs on the road. The 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross V has an underwhelming performance considering the lack of torque. The 2024 Toyota Yaris Cross V is meant mostly for city driving, since it does not have the right amount of torque to help pull it on the highway. The 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross V has a good set of features for a Toyota, and is decently equipped considering the price. However, if you are looking for absolute performance, the 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross cannot serve you here. The better cars for driving performance are the ones coming from Chinese brands with higher torque and power. The 2024 Toyota Yaris Cross is meant for connected drivers who don't care much about power. They care more about the badge, the reliability, and the features that the 2023 Toyota Yaris Cross V can provide.

I was disappointed when Honda raised the pricing for the HRV (and most of their models), switched my attention to the Creta and Kicks, but I think Toyota may have just come up with a segment killer with the introduction of the Yaris Cross.
Thank you!!! Very nice review. I will be buying the Yaris Cross for my son next week. This review just sealed the deal in my mind.
Need more Pare & Dude from you. Seriously
haha. when you're over the phase, and still use this slangs.
@Reygan’s Rides Please review Toyota Liteace FX Utility Van. Thanx.
Eyeing for this as my first car. 😍
Try looking at the 1.3M Corolla cross instead. They're similar in size already but bigger engine on the corolla cross.
Eyeing this as my first car too
@@therainbowpooppThat bare car with a foot brake 😅
@@GS-sh4kb Yeah but toyota 1.5L leaves something to be desired. Was eyeing the Yaris cross too but the center console layout and other tech didn't really live up for me. I like the layout of the raize more. Electronic adjust on the seats tho. 👌👌
@Reygan’s Rides Please review 2024 Nissan Z. Thanx.
Wished you included to check the sound system
Orange ba yang scarlet SE ?
great video review as always, keep it up sir reygan
Much appreciated!
@@ReygansRides Please review the Newly-Launched 2024 Toyota Hilux GR-S. Thanx.
does the cvt have a launch gear?
Hi need help. I am having a difficult decision on which to choose between hrv S and yaris cross V. Please help. What do you suggest?
nice content bro! i have this exact variant and color. and i love all 1,400km+ i travelled with it so far :D :D
Hi! How's your fuel economy so far?
hi @@LUZILLETAYAG, my all-time fuel economy (manual fulltank computation) for the 1400 kms i've used the car is 11.92 kpl. mixed driving conditions including mountain crossings.
What do you think about the engine? It has enough power?
@kratos1981z enough for my usage naman. The CVT slightly reduces the fun factor though.
Will there be a manual of this car?
can yaris cross tow a heavy load uphill?
which is better yaris cross v or corolla cross G?
Pare it's gwapo love this car! 👍😁
In terms of driving experience, how does the Toyota Yaris Cross V compare with the 2024 Honda City RS?
Same question po
Sorry, I misunderstood.
How many kilometres per litre does it deliver in the city?
Is the model you are testing a hybrid?
Thank you very much.
Its a gasoline Yaris cross.
Yaris V or Creta top of the line ?
Yaris cross or Mitsu Xforce ?? Which one you choose for a 4-member family. ? Thank you
XForce, probably. Only because it'll have a slightly better power to weight ratio with its 1.5L engine. If you want more ADAS features though, you're better off with the Yaris Cross.
This is already out of stock for cash buyers, unless you cough up 100k for the agents. I only hope that Toyota salespeople weren't conmen. They are ruining the brand image.
Got ours for an additional fee of Px,000 - since there are 2 of us who wants the Dark Turquoise V. The priority fee is labeled as "accessories fee" in the receipt.
Out of stock? Maybe you just need to find the right dealership. Got ours yesterday(from Toyota Lipa), Dark Turquoise V, with 40k cash discount, free 3yrs LTO and free seat covers. We paid full in cash. Look for Ava Gascon, he's the best in the business.
@@jaychan1496 wth?
This is what I've been noticing as well. Sadly, other brands also do this now.
Ganyan talaga sila, lalu na Toyota kapag cash buyer ka, walang unit kadalasan😅
I'm sold. This 4:48.
Sold! How does it compare to a Vios (2021)

😮
why we don't have (PH) Yaris GR?
We have GR Yaris locally (3 cylinder engine AWD with manual)
Hi @ReygansRides I’m a huge fan of your work which is why your opinion matters a lot to my decision making when buying a car.
My wife and I are looking at a crossover and we have narrowed down our choices to the Yaris Cross V and HR-V S. I know you’ve reviewed both cars in your channel. 1 thing that I noticed was it seemed like you had more fun driving the Yaris Cross V even though it has lower power on paper compared to the HR-V S. I have test driven the Yaris HEV and HR-V turbo since those were the only units available. I found the overall interior finishing and build quality to be better on the HR-V.
Which one would you choose between the two and why? Thank you! 😊
DM sent. 😉
Hello @@@ReygansRides May I also know your answer to the above question? We are eyeing on BRv vx first then my wife notice the HRV. only able to test drive the BRV VX since it is the only car available but the concern we have is the space and the interior is too boring like an old car, then comes to HRV which we think is better looking inside and out side. Since then my wife is now considering 5seater cross over and I think the better competition to HRV S is the yariss cross V.
@@edeljohnpadilla7574 The HRV has better cabin materials than the Yaris Cross V.
The Veloz has a lower kerb weight than the Yaris Cross V at 1,140 to 1185 kg.
The Yaris Cross V is 1250 kg.
turbo na lang kulang dito. what do we xpect! it's a toyota 😅
YES! Reygan finally covered the V variant!
Man that thing is a STEAL. All those features for only 1.3M, plus you're getting Toyota's reputation for reliability. Yaris Cross is giving those Chinese cars a run for their money. LMFAO 🤣
I hope Toyota would gain success on this line. 🙂
Well for 1.3M, i would expect also a 1.5L Turbo charged engine which is good for at least 160+ hp and 240+ NM of torque. Like most of those chinese cars that you have just mentioned 😂
But is it really giving the Chinese brands a run for their money?
It's only a matter of time until Toyota is pushed off their high horse, maybe then they'll stop disrespecting the Filipino consumer by constantly treating it as a throwaway dumping market for unwanted supplies.
It took them this long to create a competitive product against the Chinese offers, yet they still cut the Filipino short. No turbo? Hybrid at 1.6m? Really? Hahahahaha
Just wait til the Chinese start offering their hybrids at 1.3m.
The Front fender is awful and ugly, It looks like a bulldog. Except for that. it should have been a beautiful car
