Totally agreed about the sound. For me, it's 1944, Vulgus, and Mega Man X. 1944 is so far the only Raizing game we have, and by far the most recent arcade game. Vulgus was Capcom's first game and is a really fascinating spin on Xevious. Mega Man X is my favorite of the 2D Mega Man games and is still as impressive and exciting today as it was when it was released. Your picks are great too, although I really hope for dip switches with G&G. I would say there's one bad game on the compilation: Bionic Commando arcade is just not good and I wish they would quit pushing it.
Very interesting choices! I also like the games you mentioned. Yeah NES Bionic Commando is way better than the Arcade one true. Like Speccy Renegade is way better than the Arcade version as well.
I really depends. I use the Vs the most myself and I have bought an 8BitDo wireless controller that works really well with it. (The Saturn one). I also sometimes connect an arcade stick to it and it just works with minimal effort to set up. Are you looking for a portable or a TV experience? If it's portable the EXP is a great choice, especially because of these amazing built in games.
