@@MrSTravelQuest I didn't even go outside. I just looked out the window. It was a bit cloudy here, but probably could have seen something if I would have had the glasses and willingness to go outside lol.
We were at Garner over at the Cowboy Theater with a hundred other watchers. We were grateful that we could experience a brief moment of totality. Once in a lifetime!
@@krb0461 nice! We stayed for the weekend inside the park. I was surprise at all the folks from different countries. Did you notice anything during totality? We heard howling from dogs and the birds went quiet.
@@krb0461 we could hear the crowds below, but then dogs started howling. We had views of hawks and once it went dark, they were gone. I’m glad I could share our point of views from old baldy.
🌞🌑-Where will you view the next total solar eclipse?
Cool!
It was pretty neat!
Great capture! We were supposed to be around 95% totality, but it barely got dark here. Looked more like a storm was rolling in than an eclipse lol.
Nice, did you get to see the peak of the eclipse? We had rolling clouds, but got to experience darkness for a few minutes. It was a cool experience.

@@HappyPlaceCamping if y’all ever need glasses let us know. We always get plenty of them through work.
@@MrSTravelQuest Aw thanks. That's so nice of you. I could have got some, I just didn't.
@HappyPlaceCamping it’s all good. I know NASA had a good program on TH-cam highlighting all the states/countries.

How was the experience over there? Back in October we viewed the annular at the cowboy theater. We decided to do the hike on Old Baldy 😊
@@MrSTravelQuest It was a great crowd, lively and cheering throughout. We camped up at Live Oak and biked down for totality.

@@MrSTravelQuest Honestly, the crowd was so loud, we couldn't hear any insects or other wildlife.
